How to insert paid video download on my Dreamweaver website

Hi All,
I would like to sell my documentary videos and other merchandise through my website. The site has been successfully published for several years, so publishing it is not the problem. I need to know what I must do to enable people to download something from my site, but pay for it first. I have looked at e-commerce extensions for Dreamweaver, and am willing to go that route, but I don't understand the process of inserting a downloadable file on the site. Is the video file just inserted like a PDF file and linked through an html link? If I connect with PayPal and have access to their payment source, can I somehow insert my video download on my site without letting people download it for free -- they would go to PayPal and pay and then return to my site for the download? I am working on a Mac Pro with Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and have Adobe CS3 Design Premium with Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, etc. and I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMER -- I only work at the basic level in Dreamweaver and know enough to publish my site. Is there a better solution to this problem like another e-commer site for video downloads? ITunes doesn't handle independent videos. Thanks to all who reply. Small Town Gal

First thing you should know is that After Effects is not a video editor. Premiere is for putting shots together to tell stories (which is editing), After Effects is for creating those shots (compositing and visual effects) and creating motion graphics.

Please import the clip in the project panel, right click on the clip and select new sequence from clip option, you can also drag the clip to new item icon at the bottom of the project panel to create a sequence.

I've been making simple menus in DVD Studio Pro, but I'm trying to make a Menu for someone who wants a short video to play before the Menu loads (on start up) and then a short video to play after you make a Menu selection (but before it actually plays that selection). End jump track 1: Main menu
Main menu has, lets say, 3 buttons representing 3 different videos.
Track 1: Intro video
Track 2: The video to play before each of the 3 other videos.
Track 3: Video/button 1
Track 4: Video/button 2
Trach 5: Video/button 3
Create 3 Stories in track 2, each with a different end jump.
Story 1: End jump track 3
Story 2: End jump track 4
Story 3: End jump track 5
Link stories to buttons and you should be home free.

How to insert .swf video into html & mute onclick

I have a .swf file - a 20 sec vid with no player controls, just the video - made by someone else, so this is the only file type I have and can't seem to edit it.
Any way to insert the .swf, and be able to mute the video? It's being used as a banner-type-thing and if people don't want to hear it, they should be able to mute it. I don't need play/pause/stop/etc. - just mute. So however it can be done, either on-click or as a button, would be great...
so confused! this should be easy, no?

Unfortunately as you do not have the fla file that was used to create the swf, this cannot be done without turning of the sound on the users computer, which would probably annoy your user.
The only other way is to purchase an swf de-compiler, and then recreate the fla with the mute button, this would naturally require you to use flash pro.

How to insert a video into a photograph?

I need to have a presentation for a client where they see a photograph/image that has a video running as a small part of it. Imagine a picture of a room with a television and when looking at the photo you see a video running on the tv. I need to show a video advertisement for a product that I have that is running in a display in a store. Any help would be much appreciated, not sure if even possible but Forum seemed a good place to turn to. Thanks.

You may be able to create a web page the has and imaged background and a video on the page. In Photoshop to may be able to create a video that would look like an image with a video in it. However it would be a video not a video in a image. It would just look like it was for the background would be a still image that would be in every frame of the video.

Keynote on Ipad: how to insert a Video from "Videos"

Hi all,
I just have bought Keynote for iPad as to prepare effective presentations and I am completely blocked: I need to use the videos I have uploaded from my PC into the "Videos" folder (from iTunes), but it seems that Keynote is just able to "see" the media library under "Images folder" (photos & videos).
I am completely halted, since I cannot find event the way to transfer the videos from "Videos" to "Images".

I have dreamweaver cs4. . I've customized the lightox gallery widget in adobe exchange. I have a saved html page in a defined site into which I'd like to put the widget. I tried dragging the widget into an html page in dreamweaver cs4 but it did not work. Under "Insert" I don't see the option to insert a widget. How do I get it there?

How to stream YouTube video in PDF document using ID 5.5?

I'm using ID 5.5 and know how to insert a video into a document using the Media palette, "Insert video from URL" option. However, I need to stream a YouTube video in an interactive PDF document, and when I try to insert the link from YouTube into the "Insert Video from URL" box, ID doesn't recognize it. I assume this is because YouTube video links don't end with a typical video format file-name ending, such as ".mp4" or ".mov"
Has anyone been able to stream a YouTube video into a document using ID 5.5? If so, how did you do it?
Downloading the video and inserting it as a regular video file isn't an option because we need to keep the PDF file size down.

It can't be done. A YouTube video cannot be streamed in any digital publishing media—PDF, EPUB, or DPS.
There are applications which claim to be able to convert a YouTube video into a real digital publishing format like H264-encoded MP4 (preferred), but you'll have to investigate those on your own.

I am a novice webmaster managing the website for our arts organization. I am trying to build a simple table on a page of our site that will have about 30 streaming MP3 audio clips for our members to review. I have Firefox VER 31, OS WINXP 32 Bit, SP2. How do I "Resume VIDEO downloads" after computer disconnects from the internet or freezes and I reboot the computer?

You may not be able to resume downloads if the connection is lost forcefully.
In such a case you would have to backup the .part file and the final file without the .part before starting Firefox.
Try these steps to resume an unfinished download when you still have the .part file.
# Move the old .part partial download and the final file without the .part that has size 0 to another location.
# Start a new download and pause it, don't close Firefox.
# Copy the two files (.part and 0 byte final) that you moved above back to the download location to replace the new files that were created.
# Resume the download in Firefox.
You can consider to use an external download manager if you encounter such issues often.

the record insertion form wizard.

You can't do it with JavaScript. You need to use a
server-side language
like ASP, ASP.NET, ColdFusion, or PHP. Dreamweaver automates
