How to install 3 books on a cart of managed iPads.

I have a cart of managed iPads which were provided a profile and apps via Configurator.  I now need to add 3 purchased books to each iPad.  I would love to purchase the books from Apple Volume Purchase and use Configurator to install.  I am finding that I cannot do so.  If I purchase books from iTunes bookstore, how many devices can I install the book on for each purchase (Amazon and Adobe DRM allows up to 6 devices).  If I create multiple identities to purchase and load the books will the books disappear when I plug the iPads back into the Configuator?  Or will Configurator allow me to keep books purchased on a different account on the iPad similar to how it allows for apps purchased and installed under a different ID.

  • How to install the Sample Apps in Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2.2?

    Hi,
Could please anybody tell me how to install the Sample Applications in Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2.2?
The following is written in the Administration guide:
If you did not install the sample files, you can obtain them by reinstalling Financial Management
and selecting the Sample Applications component.
I cannot find the “Sample Applications component” among components during installation process.
There are only “Financial Management ADM driver”, “Financial Management Web Application” and “Financial Management: services”.
    Hope this helps,
    Thank you,
    Vadim

After you install the sample application, all of the application extracts can be found under the below location.

  • How to install "numbers" downloaded on my mac to my iPad?

    Hi,
how to install "numbers" downloaded on my mac to my iPad?
    Thank you

Your Mac and the iPad use different operating systems. The Numbers version you have on the Mac can only be installed on Macs, so you have to purchase the Numbers version for the iPad, which you will be able to install on an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. Go to the App Store on the iPad and purchase Numbers

  • How to install forms 6i runtime using windows Systems Management Server?

    Hi,
Our clinents are using oracle forms 5 application and we want to upgrade to forms 6i ( client /server ).
How to install oracle forms 6i and reports 6i runtime in multiple client machines
using windows systems management server instead of installing one by one manually.
    Regards

Here is a quick summary on why this works...
    The Problem:
The issue relies with the method and logic that MDT’s scripts use to query and validate that the proper disks, partitions and storage space reside before starting the installation of Windows.
Essentially what you have configured in the Task Sequence and the UNATTEND.xml is analyzed by the MDT scripts then a validation is completed against the hardware in which you wish to install Windows
on and if there are any errors you will be prompted with MDT Error or Warning dialogs.
The problem is that the MDT scripts use WMI to query the hard disk, partition and free space requirements for Windows, but in the case of using GPT disk, the 2nd partition (MSR) that you have to create
is hidden. The class that WMI uses for its query can’t see the MSR partition so instead of 3 partitions, it returns 2 in the query results; hence why DISK 0 PARTITION 3 doesn’t work as mentioned earlier when configured in the MDT Task Sequence.
Although the above still confuses me as to why it works with DISK 0 PARTITION 2 since the WMI query results return PARTITION IDs 0 and 1 when it should return 1 and 2…
The Windows Pre-Installation Environment however does see all 3 partitions correctly and we tried configuring in our Task Sequence to install Windows to DISK 0 and PARTITION 2 and in the UNATTEND.xml
file to install Windows to DISK 0 and PARTITION 3 but due to timing issues of the way Windows installs with MDT, did this not work for us.

  • P55-CD53, how to install SATA AHCI drivers and Matrix Storage Manager?

Please excuse my noobness as this is for my first PC build and much of it is Greek to me, but could someone please inform/educate me as to what the following drivers (link) are for and which need to be installed after a fresh installation of Windows 7 Pro x64? Do I need to install all of them because some of these appear to be redundant, just from different manufacturers, or am I mistaken? I have a single 500GB HDD but will probably add more down the road.

On a side note, I have already flashed the BIOS to 1.4 using the Forum USB Flashing Tool (thanks!).

    Thanks.
After booting from the Windows 7 disc, I selected Repair Windows, Load Drivers. Which specific controllers do I need to install for the P55-CD53 MB since there are multiple controllers listed for each of the four SATA compressed files?
Considering the multiple files and multiple controllers, is there no one out there with a P55-CD53 that has AHCI mode enabled that can give dumbed down instructions on how to do so?
The manual states "Select the appropriate RAID controller and press enter." Well... which one is the appropriate controller? Am I suppose to load the driver for all the AHCI controllers if that's even possible?
For the Intel P55 AHCI / RAID Drivers compressed file, these are the controllers available within F6flpy64\iaAHCI.inf:
    Intel(R) ESB2 SATA AHCI Controller
Intel(R) ICH 10D/DO SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH7M/MDH SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH7R/DH SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH8M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH8R/DH/DO SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) ICH9R/DO/DH SATA AHCI Controller
    Intel(R) PCH SATA AHCI Controller
Intel(R) PCHM SATA AHCI Controller 4 Port
Intel(R) PCHM SATA AHCI Controller 6 Port
Also, regarding the dual BIOS controls for SATA/IDE/RAID settings previously mentioned, I believe SATA ports 1-6 are controlled via Intel and 7,8 are controlled via Jmicron. Considering my HDD is currently plugged into SATA 1, Jmicron probably isn't necessary for the moment.
    Edit:
Turns out that none of the drivers for the controllers listed in iaAHCI.inf could be installed. However, I went ahead and installed the drivers listed for all the controllers in iaStor.inf. I reinstalled Windows 7 to get rid of the BSOD. I then installed the chipset drivers and Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

  • How can i mark books (pdf) in iBooks  on my iPad?

    Hello,
I am using the new update - and Mavericks on my Macbook. I want to synchronize those marks and annotations, but i don't know how to make an annotation or marks in iBooks on my iPad -
    please help! thank you!

I've been looking at this today also, unfortunately it looks like there is no option in iBooks either in Mavericks or iOS to annotate and sync those notes via iCloud, when the book is in PDF format (despite the implication that you can). Best I have found, is that bookmarks sync between iOS devices, but not to Mavericks.
The annotation option is not present in iOS, and the PDF just opens in Preview in Mavericks, rather than iBooks.
    I found this workaround helped:
    1) Convert the PDF to ePub format - you can easily do this here for free: http://ebook.online-convert.com/convert-to-epub
    2) Add the converted ePub book to iBooks on Mavericks. (Add to Library from the File menu)
    3) Sync the book to iOS using iTunes in the normal way (the ePub book will automatically appear under Books in iTunes)
    4) You can now annotate by selecting the text in the book (in either Mavericks or iOS) and these changes push via iCloud provided this is all setup normally. In iBooks on Mavericks, you may need to Authorise the computer.
    5) Then to annotate In iOS, highlight the text, the popup menu gives the option to add notes.
    Hope this helps

How do I install a wireless printer for my iPad?

You need to have a compatible version of iOS and an AirPrint compatible printer. Check HERE for details.
Alternatively, you can run the fantastic PRINTOPIA to print to non-compatible printers using your Mac as a print server.

  • How to install flash and siverlight plug-in on my iPad ?

I have just bought an iPad to surf the web from France
I wanted to see the latest TV news
    Impossible:
France Television Web site uses flash : required plug-in is missing
TF1 web site uses silverlight, required plug-in is missing
How can I install those plug-in on my iPad ?

I am sorry that Apple does not warn customers about this
    They did: http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
I hope this will change soon…
Then tell Adobe. It's up to them to develop a version that works well on iOS.
Perhaps you should have done more product research before buy it.

  • HT1349 How can I download books from my Nook onto my iPad?

How can I download and read books that I have purchased on my Nook? I would like to read them on my iPad.

In the iTunes App Store get the free Nook app. Then you will be able to sign into your B&N account in the Nook app and download your Nook library directly into the app on your iPad over the internet.

  • How can I transfer books from my Mac to my iPad without using iTunes?

    ?

I can get books into iBooks on my ipad easily enough by just emailing them to myself or using Dropbox. The problem with that route is that it loses the book's genre, which must be something iTunes handles separately from the file.
Anyone have any ideas on how to retain the genre metadata outside of iTunes?

  • How can I read books from the library on my iPad?

I've downloaded Over Drive and Bluefire in an attempt to read books downloaded from the library.  Although both libraries say it's easy to transfer from my home computer to the iPad, nothing has worked so far.  Has anyone had success?

Remove, but not uninstall from the device?  Where would they go if you did that?
Once you delete an App it gets removed form the homescreen, and deleted from the iPad.
There is no "Less used Apps" area or anything like that.
Everything you have, and you can access, is on the home screen. There is no other place to access Apps.

  • How to install Jaya plug-in in the Safari in Ipad?

When I surfing certain web site, specifically financial related website, it unable to open due to W/o Jaya plug-in. Anyone can help me on this?

Your Macbook runs Mac OSX, while your iPad runs iOS. These are two completely different operating systems, meaning that just because you can do something in one it doesn't necessarily follow that you can do the same in the other (you wouldn't, for example, try to open an app on your Macbook by touching it would you? )
You can install small Java scripts in the form of bookmarklets (services such as instapaper take advantage of this to provide some sort of integration with mobile Safari), but Java plugins cannot be installed. As for the future, who can say? But I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you...
