How to install / activate 'Yard Management' and BC sets

Hi everyone
I've been asked to look into how to install/activate
'Yard Management' for business warehouse. From what I've found so far online/in SDN forums, it looks like you need to activate it under Logistics Execution in SPRO. But it's not there... so looks like I need to install the necessary 'BC sets' ??
I've found a spreadsheet for 'W70 Yard management' with some
technical names for these BC sets, like
/SMB30/LYYRD_V_B031_D70, /SMB30/T30B_V_B032_D70 etc.
Any idea what these are / whether and where you can get them
(downloadable from SAP??) what transaction you use etc???

It seems we need this on a 4.7 SAP system, whereas this other docs/installing via Best Practices seems to be for ECC5 onwards... any ideas anyone?

You should activate 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN (and all necessary objects). Use this as starting point for customizing your own template. Then use SPRO transaction RSCUSTV27 to change fields "Broadcasting" and "Ad Hoc Analysis" to your customized templates.
Activate and customize 0QUERY_TEMPLATE_BROADCAST_PDF if you need to broadcast PDF's. There's no place SPRO that I know of where you can configure this to use a custom template.
You don't need 0QUERY_TEMPLATE_BROADCASTING70. It's labeled 70 but in fact it's a 3.5 web template.

I try to answer you message, my answer may not be sufficient for you.
Install SAP Solution Manager and ECC development as separate systems sharing the same server. So each system will get it's own system id and installation number.
Verify sizing of both systems.
SLD is not mandatory for a SAP Solution Manager. If a SLD already exist in your System Landscape, you can connect SMSY (System Landscape) in transaction SMSY_SETUP with a SLD. Information on System will then be retrieved from SLD, rather via an RFC.

In Windows 7 I mistakenly un-installed Adobe Application Manager and all applications (CS3E, CS5 and Elements 6) have disappeared from programs on the start menu

WIN7: Mistakenly un-installed Adobe Application Manager and now all Adobe apps (CS3, CS5 and Elements 6) have disappeared from the programs list in the start up menu.
CS5 Bridge is still there so I can get into the photo editor to de-activate it and re-install.
However, all of CS3 has disappeared so I cannot get into it to de-activate.
Question 1: Will downloading and re-installing Adobe Application manager get CS3 automatically back?
Question 2: If not, what to do to get CS3 back things working properly again? Remember, I can't de-activate it.

Don't worry about activation unless you are installing on a new and different machine. Simply reinstall in order. It should all work.
Then install any updates. Product updates
After that, let me know how it went and if there are any further questions.

How to install Adobe Application Manager? I downloaded it, but can't install.
Just purchased the CC for photographers. Have been using Photoshop since version 3.
I have been studying your support docs for several days and have no business messing around with something called, .gz files and installation logs. Totally unsuccessful "Updating" my CS6 or CS6 bridge or Extension Manager or the Adobe Support Advisor by the CC Desktop.
Have no Photoshop CS6 because I followed your CC support instructions.
Uninstalled my CS6 today so I can finish a job tomorrow. Bad decision on my part because I can't reinstall it and am unable to correct
this problem.
I was able to use CC to update LR, but am absolutely too afraid to touch it now.
I have been waiting inline for Chat also, but the numbers ahead of me are going up.
If someone in this Community forum can help me, it would be fabulous.

Downloaded and installed Adobe App Manager and an icon for it is on my Desktop
Installed Creative Cloud.
OK.
Now how do get my Photoshop CS6 back before I download Photoshop CC?
CS6 is not listed in the available Apps in the CC Desktop.
Support wait time right now is 2 hours by phone.
After sitting on Chat yesterday only to see the people "waiting ahead of me" go from 17 to 18, I gave up.
Please advise.

If you're unable to install the Verizon Access Manager on your PC the program will work just fine without installing it!
I performed the following on two different Windows XP SP3 machines and the Verizon Access Managers work fine on both.
1. Download the version 7.6.0.0 Verizon Access Manager folders and files in zip format from:

2. Extract the zip file.
3. Copy the extracted folder and it's contents to your Program Files (i.e. c:/program files/Verizon)
4. Then go to: C:\Program Files\Verizon Wireless\VZAccess Manager and double-click on VZAccess Manager.exe
The program should open.
You can create a shortcut for VZAccess Manager.exe by right-clicking on it and put it anywhere for easy convenience.

Server type is normally "Database Engine". You can use the Dev. Studio to connect to various other types (e.g. Reporting Services, Analysis Service etc.)
The Servername is the instance name you want to connect to. For a default instance it is your machinename, for a named instance it is Machinename\Instancename.
Authentication can be Windows Authentication if you are logged on as a local Admin. For an ABAP System only Windows Authentication is possible, for a JAVA System the SQL authentication is necessary, so that you can logon as 'sa' with the password you provided in the setup.

i am expecting a lot of problems during the ias installation, the db is working fine. is posible to install both products over the same machine?

You should be able to iAs and the DB on the same machine but you will need to do the following:
1. Create a new ORACLE_HOME for iAS (unsetenv ORACLE_HOME and setenv ORACLE_HOME to new home)
2. Shutdown the DB in the existing Oracle home and change the corresponding listener port in listener.ora to a port other than the typical default (1521)
3. Install iAS in the new Oracle home
4. Make sure none of the listeners in the listener.ora under the new Oracle home are listening on the same port as that which you set for the existing DB listener.
In general it is advisable to install iAS EE on a different machine than the origin database to realize the full benefits of iCache (EE)
