How to install additional programs.

On my first install of Final Cut Studio, I only installed the Final Cut portion. I would like to know how to install the other portions of Final Cut Studio - such as Motion and Soundtrack.

Thank you sir for replying my question, but unfortunately iwas using only windows 7 on my imac A1224 as my mac OS removed accidentally on earlier. Now there was only windows on the drive. i was trying to updating my windows, then on restarting, it can't boot properly (not taking cd or booting from Hd). if there is any hot keys for booting from cd or hard disk? i'm very grateful as you can help me in this problem.

You'll need to install a Dialog or Application server...
You can find the instructions on how to install an application server for BW at SAP MArketplace.

Hi, Please, help me! How can I install a program (a dictionary) from CD-ROM to Tangsten E2? I had it installed but I forgot to charge the device and my dictionary disappeared (it was on the card). The dictionary was archived in 3 WinRar files and being silly I deleted them. I can’t find the person who did it for me 5 years ago. I have Wind XP. How can I do it, please.

Hi and welcome to the HP Support Community.
The Tungsten E2 has "non-volatile" memory which means that a loss of battery power by itself does not erase the device or delete applications. This would particularly be the case if the app itself (as opposed to simply data files it required) was installed on the card.
Without knowing the contents of your CD-ROM's archive files or exactly what app you are referring to, generally Palm OS application files are indicated by the .prc extension. If you have a file with that extension in your archives, double-click it on your desktop, which will queue the app for installation in Palm Desktop. Then you can Hotsync the file to your Tungsten E2.
Also, some Palm OS applications came bundled as a Windows .exe installation file. They ran an installation routine on the desktop which installed a desktop companion application, and then automatically loaded the handheld app into the Palm Desktop install tool for installation at the next Hotsync. If that is the case, and you originally installed the app with the same XP computer you are using now, check your Program Files to see if you can find the dictionary app. If so, you may be able to reinstall it from the desktop program.

How to install a program that shows as up-to-date?

I originally installed the creative cloud, and 3 programs to try them out. I let the trial expire so I uninstalled ALL the programs. Now, months later, I have purchased the creative cloud, but I don't have the option to install the programs which I had on the trial. They show as "up to date" but are in fact not installed on my computer. When I try to download directly from the site, it goes right back to the cloud manager, which simply shows the programs as up-to-date. Not sure how to get around this. Any suggestions?

If you have Mac then please go to
Finder -->applications --->utilities
if you find the uninstallers for those softwares then simply run the uninstaller and completely uninstall the program. Sign out of and sign back into the 'Adobe creative cloud tool'.
Similarly for Windows
Go to Control panel --->Programs and feature (add or remove program) --->check if you have any Adobe software installed simply uninstall it.

How to install Additional Software Units or Usage Types in an Existing SAP

Hi.
We have a Netweaver 7.0 EPH1 with JAVA, EP and EPC intallation,but i need install additional usage type BI JAVA and NWDI.
Copy the downloaded SCAs in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in and when execute JSPM - option Additional usage type installation, this not show usages type .
according to the installation guide, this is the procedure.
please help me.

Hi,
Once you have correctly extracted and put the files in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in, you need to run JSPM and select the option of additional usage types.
Next, select the desired stack from the inbox. Click Next.
JSPM shows the currently installed usage types and those of the new usage types in the stack, which are part of the active product on the system and all of their dependencies are fulfilled. They can have different status:
Available u2013 the usage type is already active in the system. These usage types are automatically skipped.
OK u2013 the usage type can be installed on the system. Specify whether to install or skip the usage type in the Action column.
Revise u2013 the usage type cannot be installed on this system. Click the Show Details button for more information. These usage types are automatically skipped.
Not Supported - the usage type is not supported by JSPM.
Can you tell us what is the status of the usage types visible to you? Are the new usage types having a different status or are they not completely visible at all? If that is the case, you may want to check whether the files that you have downloaded are correct or not and also check whether these are correctly extracted and placed in the right folder.

Hello I'm BB & CB additive user and need help from Team Blackberry forum.
Currently, Myanmar Language is not included in any of the BlackBerry version.
What I would need is to install the font which can read Myanmar language.
For example - Zawgyi-one.ttf which we can install on windows.
I do not require to have a full language pack at this moment as it is a huge things to process.
I just need to install font so that I can read Myanmar Font on Website.
Is there anyone who have experience with installing additional font or anyone who know the similar post, please do provide a link.

Finally, I can install Burmese (Myanmar) font on my BB by using FontCollection. You can download FontCollection from Crackberry App Store http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=305439&n=FontCollectionor or Blackberry App Store http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/22413?lang=en With version 2.4, two fonts are already included with the tag burmese (Zawgyi-one and Myanmar3)
It is just 0.99USD and it is really great. you can add more font of your choice.

How To Install Additional Windows Stuff

:^0 I could use some help from those more experienced than I.
I want to add some of the windows features that are not normally installed during setup such as the indexing service, additional network features, etc. But when I try to install those things, the files that are needed are not to be found.

I downloaded a copy of Windows XP Home and put it on a Thumb Drive. Then I went back to Control Panel, Add Programs and tried again. This time when it couldn't find the files it wanted, I pointed install at the USB drive and the i386 folder and it found the files it needed to install the features.

How to install additional content from Download

I purchased the Master Collection CS4 and downloaded the files. It had one main Master Collection install (.dmg) and several additional content downloads for various programs. The main instal worked great. But I can't figure out how I'm supposed to install the additional content. After opening the .dmg files there are no "setup" files within them. They just have fonts and graphics and things like that. I noticed on the fonts it has a option to install one-by-one, but that would take forever. Am I supposed to drag and drop these files into their program's application folder on my computer? I read everything (I think) and it doesn't say. Can somebody help? Thank you.

In other on-line downloads, where one had more than one file for the installation, i.e. Functional Content, the files were ZIP'ed and had to be un-Zip'ed with the "folder structure" checked. This would then Extract all files in their proper folders. It was within these folders that the installer files could be found. I'm not sure how this might have changed with CS4 though.

I tried to install the Flash plugin but the authorization fails. Usually I am prompted to enter my password, but not with that program. I think I remember that it is possible to unlock before installing something, but I do not remember how....

If by session, you mean logging in, then to keep that going and start another user account, you have to go System Preferences->Accounts->click on the lock, enter your password, and enable fast user switching. Additionally, you might consider disabling auto login. Once you're in Accounts, you should be able to delete any other accounts.

Question 1.
i have a pc with O/S windows xp and printer is attached with it and shared on the network. now one pc with O/S win7 (64-bit) has been added the network what is the best ways to install the printer for this PC.
1...i should manually install the printer driver on win7 PC or...? OR
2...i should add the additional driver on that Win xp PC with whom printer is directly attached...?
3... as i told that xp pc is 32 bit how can i add a 64 bit driver using ..additional drivers...?
Question 2.
      when we add printer from the devices and printers what does this means get driver from windows update ...?
      most of the times when we download the driver it is in an exe file and when we choose have disk for the driver it
      ask for the .inf file...?

You wont be able to use exiting Win XP drivers on windows 7. You need to get new drivers for Windows 7, and install them as per your convenience, ie manually or automate it via script GP

How to install additional drivers for a shared photosmart c6180?

Hi, i am running windows 7 x64 and i have shared a photosmart c6180 on the pc. I need to add additional 32bit drivers so that pc's that run xp 32 bit can print to the shared printer (i cannot connect these other pc's directly to the printer via network). any way, under the sharing tab in printer properties, i can click on 'additional drivers' and choose x86, but then it asks for a driver location. what location do i specify? i've already tried c:\windows and c:\windows\system32, but it does not pick up any drivers at those locations. i've also downloaded all of the latest drivers from the hp site, but when i run the executable and specify their extracted locations, for example, c:\users\user1\appdata\temp\7Z139A\, it does not see any drivers there either.

How to install downloaded program...

After a swap of iPhone I did replace my backup, this went OK. Then I updated 5 programs. Four of them: no problem, but the 5th kept downloading over and over and over again, and never starts installing. It is the Navigon MobileNavigator Europe app.
I removed the app from both my iPhone and iTunes, and tried re-installing via iTunes. Same problem. I tried re-installing via AppStore on my iPhone, same problem.
I contacted AppStore, and they couldn't give me an appropriate way to get this app to install. The only thing they did was emptying my download-queue for 2 times.
I contacted Navigon: no reaction at all for 3 days.
On my computer I now have 3 directories with complete downloads of the app:
* c:\Users\Gebruiker\Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications\Downloads\NAVIGON MobileNavigator Europe.tmp\ (Gebruiker is my username)
*c:\Users\Gebruiker\Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications\Downloads\NAVIGON MobileNavigator Europe 1.tmp\
*c:\Users\Gebruiker\Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications\Downloads\NAVIGON MobileNavigator Europe 2.tmp\
In each directory there are 2 files:
- download.app (1.981.857.952bytes)
- Info.plist (1.044 bytes)
This means that downloading is not the point.
It just does not install from within iTunes!
Other things I did:
- close firewall
- close anti-viral program
- itunes 8.x and 9.x on different computers
- iPhone is up to date
- downloading another app, this installed like it should.
Nothing seems to help.
Is there another way to make the downloaded files install to my iPhone???

If it doesn't run under CrossOver Mac, you need Windows to use it.
