How to install database firewall 5.0

I download Oracle Database Firewall 5.0.0 Media Pack v1 for Linux x86 from edelivery, and I readed the document "Installation Guide Release 5.0 E18693-03".
Then I installed oracle enterprise linux 5.4 x86, But I can't find the "Welcome to Enterprise Linux screen" when I login to linux.(page 18 on document)

The DB Firewall acts as a bridge when using in inline mode. You should not have to change anything on the Client nor on the DB Server. The Client, DB Firewall and DB Server are in the same IP Network but not "physically" connected. This mean's the DB Server is connected with the DB Firewall on one side and the Client with the DB Server on the other side.
I've configured a test environment with VMWare. To have to separated network I created a second host only network with the same IP range. DB Server and on Network Interface of the DBFW is in vmnet2 while Client, DBFirewall Console and second Network Interface is in vmnet1. When the DB Firewall or Bridge is switched off the client can not "see" the DB Server anymore. I've documented my Test Environment at http://www.oradba.ch/2011/04/oracle-database-firewall-test-environment/
I saw a test configuration from Oracle based on Virtualbox. There they used the internal network for the DB Server / DBFW NIC1 and the host only network for the client, DBFW Console and DBFW NIC2.
1. Why I am not able to see all tabs in DBFW console?
=> no idea.
2. How to integrate Oracle Database with this Firewall setting?
=> no change on the DB nor on the Client. Setup an enforcement Point to integrate it in the DBFirewal.
3. Will user access DBFW or DBFW-MS or Database?
=> The do not have to access DBFW unless they want to see the console
4. What will be the change in the TNS entries on client side?
=> no change

Leave Mail running, but close its window (click red dot or ⌘W).

i would be easier to depend on database packages for achieving this result, whether you create procedures or database triggers, you can still invoke these construct form your form. If you database is a 10g database, it is easier to handle mass email since there is an already built-in package for this.

If you database is oracle 9i, then you have to depend on packages like UTL_SMTP , UTL_TCP. i have another example that uses the sames sample code that Mark refered to and you can find such example at my website

How to use Add_Delivery_Option to send an email to multiple recipients

I have the following code before i submit a concurrent request:

which correctly sends an email with attachment. However i need to send the email to multiple recipients. How can you enter multiple names against the 'TO' parameter. I know that i can repeat this again and again with a different email address each time, however there must be away to use this code once with multiple addresses?

How can I disable the Send to Email button?

Hi all,
While creating a basic user ID in BOBJ 4.1 we found that even though we disable their Send Email rights in the BI Launchpad, they are still able to send emails from within the Analysis for OLAP tool.
The reason why this is a problem is it asks users for a "From" email address, where they can put any email address from within the corporate network, which can result in the following scenario, where anyone can impersonate anyone else in the company.
Does anyone know how we can restrict the Send Button, or at least remove the "From" field so users can only send emails from their own email address? In Webi, there is a specific right for this called "Desktop Interface - Send By Mail" but there is nothing like this as far as I can tell in any of the Analysis-related security items.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What would be the point? Any user can download the file from the web: right click then save as. If you want users not to be able to open a pdf file after they view it one time, then Adobe has a DRM solution that can do this. It does cost a bit of change though.

As far as making the report emailed conditionally, if the report is an exception report (only showing items with inventory = 0, for example), then you could add this to the report footer to prevent an email from being sent if no exceptions exist (basic syntax):

noEmail = noEmail / noEmail ' divide by zero failure prevents email from being sent
end if
This assumes that the data coming back from the database will only be exception records. If that is not the case, then you'll have to manually count the number of records with inventory = 0 and use that formula field in the IF statement above.
The down sides to this technique are that this will cause BOE to not generate anything (not even a blank report), and the status of the run will be Failed...

I have three separate email accounts pushed to my Droid Incredible 4G LTE. I can't for the life of me figure out how to set up unique notification sounds for each email account. It was a snap to do on my old Blackberry.
Same question for flagging individuals within my contact list. (E.g., if my wife calls it makes one sound, if a client calls it makes a different sound.)
Does anyone know how to do this, or, as they say, is there an app for that???

I don't think you can on the email but got to each contact and edit them for different sounds, I'm not sure if it works on that new phone that way but as they don't have a dedicated room yet for it you had nowhere else to ask htc has good forums also

Two suggestions. With Mail as the active application, from the menu bar select Window --> Activity. A window should open that may have multiple entries. One of them should say Sending Message with a progress bar on the right hand side and to the right of that a Stop Sign icon. Click the Stop Sign icon and the message should quit sending.
Another place to do the same thing is in the leftmost panel of your Mail window where your mailboxes are listed. At the very bottom is a Mail Activity panel. If it is not visible click the icon at the very bottom between the plus sign and the gear. If you're sending a message, a progress bar should show there with an X to the far right of the bar. Click the X to stop the message from being transmitted.
