iOS 7 goes on your iPhone and iPad. It does not go on your computer.

Hi, Please go easy with me, I really know very little about all this ! We have a Deskjet 3055A printer which has been linked wirelessly to my iPad and a MacBook without a problem until now. We have installed a new router. I am thinking that we have to amend our network in some way ? I have tried to run the HP cd on the MacBook to amend it, but all I get is the message as follows... "Unsupported operating system. The installer is not compatible with the version of the operating system on your computer. It is compatible only with 10.6 and below." The MacBook is running OS X version 10.9.5 Any help greatly appreciated - thank you ! ( Please keep it simple !! ) We

I understand you are trying to install your Deskjet 3055A on your Mac, running Mavericks. The installation CD may be compatible up to 10.6, and that could be why you are seeing the error message.

Dear Expert,
I have just purchased Adobe CC and downloaded the CC installer.
I cannot install Illustrator in English, because it automatically installs it in Hungarian (that is the language of Windows 7).
I have tried to set
Preferences / Apps / Settings / App Language to International English and reinstalled and updated Illustrator, but
it is still in Hungarian.
Could you please help me how to uninstall and reinstall it in English, please?

Thanks for your reply. I have an active membership - just managed to solve the problem with the help of Adobe customer support.
Basically, I had to uninstall Illustrator and the Creative Cloud installer, then deleted all Adobe folders and reinstalled the software.
Before downloading anything, I had to set up the 'Preferences/Apps/App Language' to International English, because it automatically switched to the language of the operating system.

Can't install flashplayer on Mac OSX v.10.6.8 I get "missing plug-in" message whenever I try to run a clip. Nothing will run--utube, news clips, nothing. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled flashplayer. what do I need to do???

If it won't download directly, right click and "Save as"
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer.
BEFORE opening any Flash content in Safari, open Safari>Preferences, and check the Security tab to make sure "Allow all other plugins" is checked.

I was able to fix the problem with some help from Apple. Whenever I last downloaded Reader, I apparently didn’t complete the process by accepting the Reader contract. I was able to go right to that point in the process and complete the installation. The messages that I needed Reader but it was already installed were quite confusing. It would have been nice if the Adobe installation process that I was re-trying this morning had been able to detect a partial installation. The Troubleshooting page almost had me doing some ridiculous things that wouldn’t have helped.

You're problem isn;t with the install of Putty, you haven;t even gotten to that yet. You're problem is with updating MacPorts.
Is this the first time you have installed and try to run MacPorts? Have you installed the correct version of MacPorts for your OS version? Do you have Xcode and the command line tools installed?

You will have to reinstall OS X. In the future ignore such things. Don't click on any links or dial any phone numbers. They are all phishing scams.
Deleting Safari was not a solution.
Remove Browser Pop-up Problems

AS mentioned, you need 10.6.8 & the App Store first, it's not available any other way, & 10.7 instead of 10.8 requires a call to Apple...
