I've attached a list of all of the Samsung TV models which are capable of supporting Skype (listed by year).
If Skype on TV is important to you, then you could try persuading the store to accept the one you bought back, and exchange it for a Skype compatible model.

    You don't.
    There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both availabe in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.
    Android (Google) recommends you use Dolphin (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser) or Puffin (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudmosa.puffinFree) as youe browser if you need to view Flash content witn an Andorid device.

    There's an Application deployment tool , if you mean deploying the app other then Visual Studio or the other way is to upload the app on store as beta & provide its download

  • How to install cldc/midp to phone without them?

    I'm a Java developer new to mobile java, working on a totally new project which is at the stage of deciding what phones to use and purchase for testing. I understand the concept of cldc/midp as a standard cross-phone platform but have the following very basic question: can you (or how do you) install these prereq's on a phone that doesn't have them initially when purchased? Is this a problem or a non-issue (perhaps you just load them as with Java jdk onto a desktop)?

    If I understand you right, you want to know how to add API:s ie MMAPI to a phone?
    Well thats impossible.. the only way you are going to get support for new api is if the manufacturar adds it in the next firmware (That never happends) . So if you buy a phone that is the tools you have.. Nothing els except the ones you write your self.

  • HOW to install midlet to mobile??

    Hi actually i ve written an j2me application on netbeans..... can any one tl me hw to install dat application to ma mobile???????

    I have also found few phones, that would prevent a local instalation of the MIDlet (as in, copy the files accross to the phone or mem card and then try to install it locally).
    In such case having some web space where you can simply drop the JAD and JAR files to just to access that page from the phone's web browser is very usefull.
    Obvious pitfalls in such scenario are MIME types on your web server. Make sure that they are correct for JAD and JAR file types, otherwise phone will not trigger the Over The Air MIDlet installation routine.

  • How to install software for samsung portable dvd writer

    Do I need to download software to use my new Samsung SE- 218CB Portable DVD Writer?  I put the disc in that came with it and nothing happened. Now I can't get it to eject to try a cd or dvd to see if it even works.  It says it is compatible with Mac, but now that I'm looking at the box, the disk only contains software download for Windows.  Any suggestions?

    No you don't and that disc probably has only Windows files on it. All you have to do is connect it to a USB port and it is ready to use. To see if the drive is actually seen by your Mac open Disk Utility, It is in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder, and the drive should be listed on the left hand side.
    If you want an icon on the desktop when you insert a CD or DVD disc you make that change in the Finders Preferences on the General Tab.
    And for it to show in the Sidebar of a Finder window check this option.

  • Download MIDlet to a phone

    Hi all,
    I developed my J2ME application that will connect to a remote server using GPRS on the J2ME Wireless Toolkit.
    Can someone please give me some tips on how download the MIDlet onto a phone. Do I need to download both .JAD & .JAR files?
    How do I create the .JAR file using the toolkit?
    Its an MIDP1.0 application, which type of phone do people recommend I use?
    Any tips would be much appriciated!
    Thanks
    Glenman

    To make a jar file with the wireless tool kit
    Click on project and then click on package/create package. never forget that size is crucial so you should use an obfuscutator with it. If your jar file is above 64 KB , then use an obfuscator (retroguard, proguard, etc.).
    Normaly both Yourapplication.jar and Yourapplication.jad will be stored into
    the_path_to_wireless_tookit/apps/your_project/bin/
    You need both jar and jad file to be OTA compatible.
    the JAD file contains several meta-data (including an URL pointing to the JAR file: MIDLET-URL or something)
    To install your application on a mobile phone you need two things:
    - A java/wap enabled mobile phone
    - and a configured web server.
    for the web server your need to add two new MIME types:
    for JAD and JAR.
    You should find this information over the web, I don't have it here.
    Once you have proplerly configured your web server (if you didn't the jad file will be downloaded like a text file and nothing will happen). Simply use your wap browser and type the URL of the JAD file:
    http://www.myserver.com/applications/MyApplication.jad
    Your mobile phone should download and install your application.
    It always better to test first your application with the constructor SDK. There are some problems that could occur during the "make package" process. (mainly related to the JAR properpties, NOKIA for example is more touchy about this than sonyericsson phones). Don't expect a lot of feeback from your mobile phone,for any errors you will receive "INVALID file". SDK will give you more valuable logs.
    Hope this help

  • How to install a midlet on a mobile phone

    Hi all, please i need someone to put me thru on how to install my developed mobile application on a mobile phone. I have my jar file and my jad file in my bin folder and i tried uploading it and an html..
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <a href="http://www.tfsseconline.com/mobile/TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT.jad">TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT.jad</a>
    </body>
    </html>but this is all i get when i click the link..
    MIDlet-1: TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT, TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT.png, Mobile
    MIDlet-Jar-Size: 3326
    MIDlet-Jar-URL: TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT.jar
    MIDlet-Name: TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT
    MIDlet-Vendor: Unknown
    MIDlet-Version: 1.0
    MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.1
    MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-2.1
    and its not downloading.... Thanx in advance...

    Hi,
    I think , you have provided a incomplete MIDlet-Jar-URL property in the jad file.
    Change the property
    MIDlet-Jar-URL: TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT.jar
    to
    MIDlet-Jar-URL: http://www.tfsseconline.com/mobile/TFS_ONLINE_ACCOUNT.jar
    or go through following articles.
