How to install NI6711 (PCI) & MIO-16X (ISA) on the same PC?

NI6711 & MIO-16X work with two differents versions of NI-DAQ: Each version can detect only one DAQcard. What the solution to install them on the same PC?

I know that the pci-6711 is supported since nidaq 6.5 and that since that version the at-mio-16x is no longer supported. Thus, there is no way to get them to install in the same computer. Either you must install them in different computers, or you should get a new board which performs the same operations of the mio-16x. There is a huge variety of E series boards which perform operations much better than that legacy board. Maybe you can get it to exchange with your Sales Rep.

Please excuse my lack of understanding for this hardware. I am not an engineer, just a computer tech tasked to build new pc's with this hardware.
I need to know if the two cards can be interchanged. One is a 12 bit card, the other 16bit. The 12 bit card is the calibrated card to be used, replacing the 16 bit card.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by interchange, but both use the same driver, NI-DAQ. So if you have a version of NI-DAQ that is compatible with both devices (the last few versions are), the driver will recognize both devices. NI-DAQ will probably associate a different device number for the new board, when you put it in. So programs written for the other board might have to be changed slightly to account for the different device number. FYI - you can download (free) the most recent version of NI-DAQ here:

Can i measure resistance with a PCI-MIO-16X-10

good day!
In my work we measure inflator resistance with an external ohmeter and switch selector, for now we're working in update this method of measure resistance. The program used to activate the inflators was built in labview 7.0 and use a GPIB and PCI-MIO-16X-10 boards only.
The question is if we can measure resistance with this board (PCI-MIO-16X-10), we can do it?

Not directly but with some auxiliary circuit elements you can. To measure a resistance you need to know both the voltage and current associated with the resistor.
One way you can do this with a DAQ device is to create a voltage divider using a known external resistor. By measuring the voltage drops across both the known and unknown resistances, you can calculate the value of the unknown resistance. You can use the analog output or the board power supply as excitation voltage for the voltage divider. Use two analog input channels to measure the voltages across the resistors. As long as the values of the resistors are much lower than the input resistance of the analog input channels, you can get good results. The accuracy is limited by how well you know the value of the "known" resistor, the resistance of the inputs, and the accuracy of the A/D converter. The accuracy of the known resistor is probably the largest contributor to the overall error.

Where is the Apple problem? I have CS4 and CS5 running perfectly fine on my Macbook Pro. Installed 5 after Lion upgrade. Worth every cent. Adobe did have some catching up to do with Lion but with the CS5.5 update all runs fine. But not yours. So it is a problem with the Lion OS? You say you have been with Adobe since 2005. So you would be aware of all the other issues that Adobe had catching up with past Oss in Mac and Windows then. They get it right, but it is up to them. It is not up to Apple, nor Microsoft for that matter, to run around and check that every software developer in the world is running their business properly.
And what has politics got to do with anything. Some people just have to blame Software for their poor Hardware maintainence of failure of the same.

Can anyone tell me how to install a network printer driver without having the network printer online? It doesn't matter what manufactors make the network printers. Is a netwaork printer(with network card) has to have that printer on line to be able to install
the driver? This is the point of my question!

The computer (and driver) have to handshake with the printer, QED it has to be either online or physically connected and if it is physically connected it wont work on the network so yes it does.

You do not install the printer driver on the Time Capsule, you install it on your Mac.
Check with Samsung Support for details on how to download and install the driver to your Mac.
Then use System Preferences > Print & Scan to see if your printer is compatbile. Not all printers are compatible with the USB port on the Time Capsule, so if your printer does not appear, it ls likely not compatible for this purpose.

I bought a T400 a few weeks ago in Korea.
But my company uses English, so I had to install a Windows XP English version.
However, at that time I lost the Roxio software.
I have the recovery CDs for T400 Windows XP PRO SP2.
If it is possible, then please let me know how to install only Roxio CD Burner Programs from the Recovery CDs.

unfortunately it´s not possible to install just one program from recovery cd´s.
But on Lenovo support pages, there you should find your software and applications.
Please visit with IE and let autodetect your system.
Then you should able to choose which type of software is availible for you.
Choose CD and DVD drives.
Hopefully the T400 department is up to date now.

Well i am Trying to Install Forms6i and Oracle 8i Server on the same PC and not succeeding. Can anyone help.

Follow below steps
1. Remove all Oracle versions in your machine. In NT, To Delete Oracle, delete HKEYLocalMachine/software/oracle , HKEYLocalMachine/software/services/oracle* registry keys, restart m/c and delete all oracle home directories.
2. Install Forms 6i Server in the default home directory. If you want to develop forms in same m/c, use custom installation and select forms server, forms developer and webdb listner ( if needed ).
3. Install Oracle 8i in a different oracle home.
4. configure oracle forms server and webdb listner. ( See Note:107596.7 in matalink)

How about switching the application? Does changing the ORACLE_HOME and PATH environment variable setting enough ? Let's say from

How to associate an already used iPhone 5S with the same iTunes?

Recently I had a breach into my account (been hacked). Money was taken off from my account.
Due to this I have restored my iPhone. I created a new ID and password.
However now whenever I try to install the already purchased apps onto my iPhone I get the error message the my computer is not authorized.
No matter how many times I authorize my computer I get the same message. then that the computer is already authorized.
I did a little search and found out that my iPhone now is the one that is not associated with my iTunes account.
Is there a way to associate my phone with my iTunes Store account again or I'll have to take even more loss now and rebuy all the apps for which I already paid once?

You may need to authorize the computer with the correct Apple ID.
The items you're trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:
Select a purchased song in your library and choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab. Note the Account Name that appears in the list. This is the account name (Apple ID) you'll need to use when authorizing your computer to play this purchase.
Note: The account name that appears is the one you used when purchasing the item and does not change if the account name (Apple ID) changes.
If you've authorized the Apple ID that is shown in the Summary tab, you can check the purchase history for that Apple ID from Store > View My Account. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, consider any other Apple ID you may have created, and authorize the computer for your additional Apple ID.
If you forgot the password to one of your accounts, you can recover it using Apple's password-recovery website.
