    Dear;
I wonder how to install office 2013 professional plus in IMAC.
I use bootcamp to install windows 8 and then install office 2013 professional plus?

It does not run on Macs, only on Windows. So, yes, you would need to install Windows on your computer or:
Get Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion/Mountain Lion.
These two suites are similar to Libre Office:
    NeoOffice - $30.00
    Open Office

If you're talking about MS Office for Mac, you just need to purchase it, and install it. What seems to be the problem?

How does installing Office 365 University on two macs work? Would i be able to install it on two macs and use them both at the same time?

This forum is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, a software package for Windows designed to update Apple products that run on Windows, and not related to Microsoft Office in any way. I suggest you post Office related questions on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac products.

  • How to install Office 2008 for Mac on DVD without DVD-Player on MacBook Air? without

I've bought both, but I don't know, how to install MS-Office on MacBook Air. Could you help me?

You either need to use Remote Disk http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1777?viewlocale=en_US  or buy an external CD drive.

  • Just got a new mac book pro, need directions on how to install Office.

We just got back from a college orientation and bought our daughter a new 13 inch Macbook Pro.  We also bought Office for Mac from the college.
It has 3 DVD's with it. They all say "application media" but have a different months and year on them ( 2 have November 2010, and 1 has June 2011)
I need directions on how to install this on the computer.  Thanks!  Kelly

LibreOffice is free to use, by tens of millions in fact, didn't need to buy Office unless she is at a job that demands sharing of complicated files.
If you want save money I would take it back, Office justs come out with another and another remake which one has to keep paying over and over again.
Office type software has been donation supported for a long time now.
And it's dead easy to install, just click the link and install the package. Does everything Office does, even reads and writes to Office format.

  • How to Install Office for Mac ?

I am so new to Mac I don't even know what I'm doing wrong. I bought a new MBA yesterday, AirPort Extreme and a MS Office for Mac on a DVD I guess. I set up the wireless base station from my Dell Windows 98 work station. I can get the internet on the MBA and can also see shareable files on my windows machine. I copied the DVD files and made them shareable. Then I copied them to the MBA. I tried copying it to the desktop, then applications, but could not get it to install. I read that it has an installer so you should just double-click on the box icon but nothing happens, it tells me it can't open the file.
Am I just doing this all kinds of wrong? How can I install Office for Mac on my Air?
BTW I don't have an external optical drive attachment for the MBA.
    Thank you so much.

This guide will help you set up DVD sharing on your Windows PC:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1777
Once that's done, pop in the Office installer DVD.
On your MacBook Air, open Finder, then choose Remote Disc from the Finder Sidebar.
Double-click the icon for your PC, and the Office for Mac installer will appear.

  • How to install office mac 2008 onto airbook

I have installed Office Mac 2008 onto Mac ig5. I want to do same onto macbook Air ( currently has 2004 version). How do i do this please?I have tried migration assistant and remote disc. One corrupted original 2008 version on mac ig5, the othre says not enough space on Air book.

It sounds like you don't have enough disk space on the MBA to install Office 2008. You have to clear out some room, or perhaps install only part of the new Office. You could consider throwing out Office 2004 first, though only if you have a way to put it back on again if the 2008 install still doesn't work.

  • How to Install Office 2003 on Netbook

How do you install Office 2003 on a Netbook with no cd drive???  Suppose we could buy & download 2007 but I already own 2003.  Any suggestions???
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Microsoft as actually mentioned the use of using Daemon Tools once.
What I do to load software on my Netbook is start out on my desktop by using a piece of software called ISOBuster. I create a virtual image of the disc and then save it to the flash drive.
I then start up my Netbook and install Daemon Tools onto the laptop. Mount the ISO onto the virtual drive, and you will be set to use your software in no time.

  • How to install office imac with a dvd drive

Purchased my Mac today.  Didnt realise that I needed a dvd drive to install Office Mac 2011. I dont have an eternal dvd drive.  How do I install?

    Here you go:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2439384
Basically, you go through the process to buy it as a download, but at a point you get the option to enter an existing product key - this permits you to download it without having to pay again.

  • How to install Office 2010 in ZCM11

    Hello NG
I would like to know how i can install Office 2010 with ZCM11. In Office2010
no MSI files are available for the installation. The procedure must be
running with exe and xml config files.
Does somebody give me a tip?
thanks in advance for your help
    Ramon

    Ramon,
I can't answer for ZCM11, but I can only assume that the process has not changed significantly from ZCM 10.3.x.
You've got several options at your disposal.
The way we do things in our environment is to use a copy files action (or a file copy utility that shows a progress bar, since a copy files action has no progress indicator) to copy the files locally to the workstation to a staging area, where they are then launched as a dynamic administrator/system account.
I'd say use an install files or install directory action, but my experience in the past has been that install directory ends up losing track of the directory structure, so it only works well for a single directory with no subdirectories.
Plus, every time you throw a new update MSP file into the "updates" folder within the network deployment folder for Office 2010, you'd need to re-upload to the repository whereas when you copy from a network share you can simply throw a new update into the folder and be done with it.

  • How to install office 2010 on bootcamp windows 7

    Hi,
I purchased office 2010 for home and business. I have to download the software from the net, but when I do, I can't run the installation. I double click the icon, then it askes me specify the program I want to use... First of all, I don't know what software to pick and secondly I find the question strange. Shouldn't it run automatically ?
the real issue is that I want to use SolidWorks on my Mac. I have done so for the last year, but without the use of excel. Solidworks needs excel the perform certain functions.
    Help !

I have installed Office for Mac 2011 on my iMac. And windows via bootcamp to work with the program called SolidWorks. But in order to use it's full potential I need to have excel (office) as well. The program doesn't find or see that office for mac is installed. Is it because it is installed on the other part of the hard drive or ... ?
I'm going to investigate what you call 'run it natively' and come back to let you know if I got it right.

  • How to install office on iPad

Unable to install office on iPad which I installed on macbook pro

That is not possible. Applications you run on your Mac cannot be run on an iPad - they're different operating systems requiring different applications - and Microsoft has not released a version of Office for iOS.
There are, however, a number of apps that are compatible with Office documents. Apple makes iOS versions of their own iWork apps (Pages, Keynote, Numbers) that can be purchased separately. There are also 3rd party combined suites that cost less than the separate Apple apps. Ones often recommended include Documents 2 Go,  Quickoffice and Office2 HD.

  • How do install Office: Mac 2011?  I am getting an error message when I go to the page...

trying to install microsoft office: mac 2011 home and student.  i am directed to a page and when i click on the link I get an error message about security.  i don't have the option anywhere of entering the product key.  not sure what to do.

You need to download the installer from Microsoft after you purchase it. Then you will have to run that application and it will request the product key as it goes thru the motions of setting up the product.
If you're trying to download an illegal version for free, that will explain the security message. The browser would be trying to protect you from yourself.
