I want to install and configure Oracle Workflow using Oracle 10g
Please help me and guide me with the process in deatial from scratch what should i need to install

Also help me how can i configuer oracle internet directory because when installing Oracle application server it requires HostName and Port No.

are for Oracle Workflow version 2.6.0. Here is some information from the announcement for downloading the latest version, 2.6.3:
Oracle Workflow 2.6.3 for Oracle Database 10g is now available for download from OTN.

Currently, the availability is limited to Windows and we are working towards availability on other platforms. I will post another message as soon as it becomes available.
The Workflow Server requires an Oracle 10g database home and the Workflow mid-tier requires an Oracle HTTP Server home - Apache Install from the Oracle 10g Companion CD. For more information please read the installation notes.

i installed a windows server 2012 R2 Core edition on the server platform and i want install first forest and Domain on this server core by cmdlet...but i cannot install it. i search in the technet and other sites and blogs on the internet
and i saw many commands that use for install it such as "DCpromo /unattend" and even
"Install-addsforest" in the powershell but still i cannot get a result from these commands.
i need step-by-step guide that help me for install new forest and domain in the server 2012 R2 core.

1 Whether you going to upgrade Discoverer 4i into 10g
2.Whether you going to install 10G on seperate oraclehome or a server.
If you select second option you make sure wherther you plans to implement SSO to access the Discoverer or not.Can you tell me your plan.

OWB, Oracle WorkFlow, and OEM

I am a DBA who has been charged with the task of integrating Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle Workflow and OEM. Our source database is 9i but our Intelligence Team would like to use 10G. Does anyone know how I might install this? Should I install 10G, then create a database for OWB and Oracle Workflow? Any direction would be helpful.

Have you found an answer? If not read on.
We are also having the same combination.
1. Identify a target server (datawarehouse server).
2. Install 10G database on it (create a seed database with DWH option).
3. Install OWB
4. Install workflow server.
Then , make OWB setups :
1. Install a design repository, through which the team can carry out ETL in the OWB client.
2. Install a runtime repository which creates 2 users - a runtime repository owner and a runtime access user('connect as') user when deploying the ETL mappings.
3. Install a target schema using the runtime where the target objects - tables, dimensions and cubes will be created.
Then, in OWB, the team have to configure the source modules as 9i and the target modules as 10g.

How to install Essbase on your laptop from the Oracle Download site

Hello everyone,
I am attempting to install the download version of Essbase on my laptop from the Oracle site. I have downloaded the following Essbase-11113 part 1, Essbase-11113 part 2, and APS-11113 part 3. However I am at a loss as to what to do next. I didn't see any executible files in the downloads all I see are xml documents and .dat files so I am completely lost as to how to install the system and get a working copy of Essbase running. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I too have it installed on a VM -- Windows 2003 -- and it's a 32 bit OS. If you do want to move it to your real desktop, you'll need a bunch of directories and environment variables from your successful 32 bit install to make it work, even for the client. I think XP should be okay for just Essbase and maybe EAS. You can always install Excel on the VM as well and just keep it entirely self-contained.
SmartView on 64 bit, if you're using Excel 2007, is a non starter; it does work with Excel 2003 and I think it's slated for a fix in 11.1.2.
If you're as hopeless as I am when it comes to installations, make sure you take plenty of snapshots so you can roll back to the last working instance. I did the whole stack on my VM, so I had lots of things to get wrong.
I think those who know what they're doing when it comes to installs don't see it as a challenge -- I'm a developer, not an installer, so I found it it be be gruesome (the full stack, 64 bit Essbase on the real iron).

P.S. Just to show that when it's all certified, it works, I was able to install AppliedOLAP's client (okay, Tim was watching over my shoulder, but still) on my Vista 64 bit without any trouble whatsoever. It worked like a charm.

Drag it to the trash icon in your dock. This is a disk image, and you need to "eject" it, to get rid of it.

This happens when someone drags the HD or a system folder icon to the iPhoto Window by accident. Solution: restore from back up created before this occurred.
