How to install pocket pc 2002 emulator?

Anyone can teach me how to make my emulator work?
Currently i have 1. pocket pc 2002 sdk
2. pocket pc 2002 image
3. j2me cldc
4. midp
i am very new in developing ppc application. i was doing my final year project. Time is limited, anyone can help? Can you please teach me step by step? Thank you very much.

First check Sims 2 graphical requirements (I'm not sure the integrated graphic card will work). Then you have to install a copy of Windows XP or Vista using BootCamp: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
When done, simply install Sims 2 like a standard windows program.

  • How to install J9 in Palm emulator

    Hi,
Any body tell me , how i can install IBM JVM J9 in the Palm emulator for testing my application.
you can reply me on [email protected]
    Thanks in advance
    Jack

    [calganesh],
My suggestion to you is to download the J2ME Wireless Toolkit ( http://java.sun.com/products/j2mewtoolkit/ ) and install the Palm OS Emulator (POSE) on the same machine. This way you can test the J2ME applications with the POSE without having to specifically look for a separate KVM to install over the POSE.
The J2ME Wireless Toolkit provides you with an option to test J2ME MIDlet applications using the POSE alongside other generic emulators offered with the toolkit.

When i install the application and  plug the device using USB window  recognises the device but no comport it shows. When i update the driver by righght click device manager then lv application can perfectly communicate with the device. I want to avoid the step of updating the driver. 3.Installing on a Pocket PC
    - Pocket PCs normally come with a "MIDlet Manager". Please check if you have a "MIDlet Manager" installed under 'Programs' on your Pocket PC. If you don't, you will need to dowload it and install it before copying the JAR files to your device. A MIDlet Manager is what enables Java programs on Pocket PCs. Click on the link below to download the zipped MIDlet Manager: http://www.guidedways.com/mobile/JMM.CAB.zip
    - Installation Procedure: Simply unzip the above file, copy the CAB file to your Pocket PC and tap it from there. This will install the MIDlet Manager on your device.
    - Reset your device
    - Now copy the JAR files from your PC to your Pocket PC and tap the files from there. This should start the installation procedure. If it doesn't, then your mobile unfortunately does not support Prayer Times.

  • How to use the Google Android Emulator in Flash Builder on Windows 7?

I want to try out Flash Builder to create an app, but I cannot find out how to use the Google Android Emulator in Flash Builder. The simulators in Flash Builder work, and the android emulator is installed correctly and can run. I just can't seem to connect them. How do I do that?

    Hi Pahup,
    Thank you for your reply!!
I adapted an Android App using Flash CC on a Mac. I already published this App for the Apple App Store. When I published the App for Android I chose Air 3.7.xxx for Android. I also created the p12 certificate using Flash CC in the publishing settigns for Android. So my App is theoretically finished and ready for Upload.
When I went to the Google Play Store Developer Console I had the options to
    1.) Upload APK
    or
    2.) Prepare Store Entry
...so I prepared the Store entry first. When I go to "APK"-Tab in the console it looks like this:
... it says "Upload APK" and the Button below "Get Licence Key". When I click on the license Key Button it looks like this:
So I think I should enter this RSA-Key somehow into my App BEFORE uploading it to the Google Play Store. This is recommended when an Ap is set to be paid. My Application is set to paid.
I did not use any kind of licensing API (until now - cause I don´t know how and what it is for)
This is all new to me. It is the first App I want to bringt to the Android market. I really hoped it would be as easy as getting an app into the Apple App Store. I found so many step by step instructions for dummies on "How to get an Flash iOS App into the App Store plus creating all the certificates needed", so I thought it would be the same for Android. But there is no help at all at the moment. I am totally confused.
So any help, hint or instrusction would be great!!
By the way - this is the App I want to get into the Google Play Store

  • How to install Mac OS 9.1 on a partition?

I've partitioned my internal 233 GB hard drive with os 10.4.3 taking up most of the space, which I installed.
I now have a 20 GB partition for os 9.1, but I'm not sure how to install it. My computer won't restart using the os 9.1 disc; it just goes over to os 10. I'd like to have a separate disc with 9.1 that I can use exclusively for classic gaming.
How do I install the os on the now erased and empty 20 GB partition?
    Thanks!
    Gee

I believe this is what I'm looking for. Here's the description of the disc:
Mac OS 9.2.2 install CD (Early 2002 Version)
Mac OS 9.2.2 install CD. Gray, OEM version. Supports all OS 9.2.2 compatible G3 and G4 models, which was sold from March 2002 or earlier. Power Mac G4 MDD, PowerBook G4 Ti DVI, etc. were sold from April 2002 or later, so this CD does not support these model.
Here's a link to the product page:

Can someone confirm that this is what I need? If so, I'll order it. The price is right.

  • How to install the JRE that comes with JME 3.0 to a Windows Mobile device

    From Sun's JME download page:
Integration with 3rd party emulators and Windows Mobile devices
The new Java ME Platform SDK architecture allows integration of 3rd party emulators and devices. Java ME Platform SDK comes with Sun's Java runtime environment for Windows Mobile. A user can install this runtime on a Windows Mobile device or a Microsoft device emulator and experience all the on-device features of Java ME Platform SDK.*
My question is, how can I install the Java runtime environment that comes with Java ME Platform SDK 3.0 to a Windows Mobile device. I am a newbie in this device programming and I'm setting up my development environment. So far, I have installed JME in my computer, and have also installed both the Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 emulator. I've been searching the internet for answers, but it always points me to using a third party java runtime such us Mysaifu, etc. I would like to stick with what is packaged with JME if possible.
If anybody assist me or direct me to an online documentation on how to do this. All help is greatly appreciated :-)

I had some success installing on a real Mobile 5 device [http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5344195]
There is a link to a doc on the main download page, item 5 under How to Install. [http://java.sun.com/javame/downloads/sdk30ea.jsp] I used this for the real device, Treo 700w. Did not try it with an emulator.
The support looks to be an emulator rather than a JVM per say. But then again I could be wrong on that. I too had poked around looking for a JVM, CrEme, J9, etc..
I do have a commercial app installed on the Treo that uses IBM's J9, which is seems requires a contact with a sales person to get ahold of. I had hoped to find something that might clue me in on how to "hook up" my own J2ME app with the J9 installed by the commercial package. But I've pretty much decided to get a real J2ME handset rather than continue to waste my time hacking up something with WM. Now the question is which one makes a good reference platform?

  • I don't know how to install on Slackware64

I have downloaded and untarred the files provided but I'm unsure how to install since no readme with proper instructions for provided

    https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+Firefox+on+Linux
It's sad, but Mozilla has never made good use of the ReadMe.txt file like other software does. This what that file has basically contained since I started using it in 2002.
"For information about installing, running and configuring Firefox
including a list of known issues and troubleshooting information,
    refer to: http://getfirefox.com/releases/ "
And that URL isn't even used anymore, you get re-directed to a Firefox download page.

  • How to install Leopard Snow (Steps for beginners )

HI; I am a new user for Mac system, been PC since long time; Have MBP OS X 10.5.8 since 2 month and its work EXCELLENT and I am so happy with it; could some please advice me how to install the MAC OS SL up to date Disc by steps!!! I don't want to fall in any problems and a bit afraid after reading these Posts of facing trouble during installation. really need this help. thanks

Perhaps you'll receive many suggestions — here's mine:
First make a bootable clone backup (or two) of your Mac's internal HD onto an external HD using this free software (the page may be slow to load):
    http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper
Then follow Apple's own "easy steps":
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/Snow_Leopard_InstallationInstructions.pdf
Some people wait until one or two "point releases" before upgrading to a new version of OS X, e.g. they wait until 10.6.1 or 10.6.2 (containing bug fixes) becomes available. You can learn about the availability of such releases via Apple's Downloads page here:
    http://support.apple.com/downloads#macosandsoftware
...or via Mac news sites such as this: http://www.tuaw.com
Here's a list of applications and their compatibility status with Snow Leopard:

These free Dashboard widgets can help you keep up-to-date with new (and Snow Leopard-compatible) versions of your third-party software:

  • How to install Swing for JDK 1.1.8? (Emergency)

I encounter a problem in developing application software now. Would you give me help? Thanks a lot.
I'm using PersonalJava with JDK 1.1.8 to develop PDA application. And I need to import some classes such as Swing and com.sun.ftp, but I do not know how to install and import Swing. So please tell me what I can do for it.
Thank you for your help. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. :)
    Have a nice day!
    Best regards,
    Chris Wong

    Hi,
there is an instruction on http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=56&thread=280486
    The steps in short are.
Copy the swingall.jar on your pocket pc
Edit the registry key for "Java Class File" and add the swingall.jar to it
If you need some other classes, then do the same.
Btw. I have encountered a problem with the Sun Runtime. If the classpath in the registry is too long, it will ignore the whole classpath. So you maybe will put all classes into a single jar file.
    Hope that helps,
    FReAK
