How to install .scr file as screensaver

A friend made a screensaver for me in .scr format. Does anyone know how to make one of these things work on a PPC Mac? I tried putting it in the Library--Screensavers file, but it didn't show up in the list after I opened the Systems Preferences window.

Screen savers the end in ".scr" are for Windows systems only. You cannot run this on a Mac.

How to install help files on BI 7.0 bex analyzer

Hi All
I have successfully installed the help files for my abap stack on BI 7.0, by configuring transaction SR13 to point to the help DVD on our file server.
However, when I try to go to help in the new version of the analyzer, I get the following error:
Help Type 5 is not valid for the platform NONE
Exception 5 when calling IWB_HTML_HELP_URL_GET occurred.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this please.

I will e-mail all those that have asked for a screen dump. I will also include the instructions below:
1. Copy the PlainHTMLFile and the HTMLHelpFile from the Help cd to a windows servers
2. Goto transaction SR13
For BEX Analyser Help
1. To install the BEX help files, click on the PlainHTMLFile tab
2. In the Platform Filed enter NONE
3. In the Area Field enter IWBHELP (or you can select documentation from the drop down)
4.In the PATH field enter the path of the PlainHTMLFiles that you copied to your server (i.e C:\Help\PlainHTML\BEXHELP\helpdata)
5. In the Language field, enter EN
6. Click on DEFAULT check box.
7. Save your changes
For Abap stack Help

How to install msp files

Since installing Adobe CS4 on a Windows 7 computer, autoupdate stopped working including Acrobat.
So I downloaded update patches from acrobat site: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/.
All patches were in msp format. When I clicked on msp files, I am getting an error (see the attachment).
Please advise me how to update Acrobt with msp files.
(Note; I posted the similar queston to Photoshop forum. I did not get any answer. So I am posting to the right forum).

Thank you for your reply. You are correct. I downloaded a map file for Acrobat Pro Extended by a mistake. I don't know what the difference is between Arobat Pro and Acrobat Pro Extended. There are too many lingo for Adobe programs. Anyway, I was able to update Acrobat 9.13 patch.
From the adobe download site (see the attachment Adobe download.png), I dowloaded AcrobatUpd930_all_incr.msp (Adobe Acrobat 9.3 Pro and Standard Update - Multiple Languages) file thinking that this is an update file for v. 9.3. This file did not indicate that it is for Acrobat Pro Entended. When I clicked on the 9.3 pro msp fiel, I am getting the same error (see the attachment adobe error.png). What should Ido to install Acrobat 9.3 pro?

I have created a large ibooks (1,3Gb) and want to distribute it for validation before publication on the AppStore.
If I use a simple webpage with a link to my ibooks file, it works without any problem with a small iBooks (safari download complete and popup asking to open it with iBooks)
but when I tried with my 1,3Gb it will take "hours" before safari complete the download and the "Open with iBook" never appears...
Same problem with iTunes... I did not succeed to install it on my iPad
How can I distribute a LARGE iBooks for peer reviews ?
In the past I used a plist file in order to distribute iOs app via Safari, but i don't know how to do it with a Book...

Hi,
I've a 390MB .ibooks file that I made and I need to put it on a few ipads without using iTunes.
I tried the dropbox method:
-after downloading the .ibooks file in dropbox and choosing "open with iBooks" dropbox app went stuck on "exporting file" spinning wheel forever.
So I tried the web download method:
-I put the .ibooks file on a webserver, downloaded the file with safari then pressed the "open in iBooks" button: the button seems unresponsive. After a *very* long time (20-30 minutes) the file was eventually transferred to ibooks.
This is going to confuse every user I ask to download the book.
Do you have any advice please?
