How to install widget in dreamweaver

I started using Adobe Widget Browser today. I installed the program and browsed the widgets/applications. I downloaded one called Spry Menu Bar 2.0
opened it and used it to edit a menu bar. i saved it, but it is not showing up in dreamweave insert menu. What am I doing werong? how do I install the Spry menu bar I created in the dreamweaver insert menu? Or do I need to install the application in the insert menu? If so, how do I do that? I am using Dreamweaver CS4.
Thank You in advance

Thank you so much, that is helpful. I actually own the CS5 upgrade but haven't installed it yet because the learning curve is so steep for me, I thought it might be better to learn CS4 first and then move to CS5.
So after saving the html widget file to my website, how do I actually install it in an existing page?
for example I made a verticle menu widget with fly out sub-menu that I want to use for navigation. I want to install that menu in a div I have defined as "nav_container". How do I insert the menu into my container?

  • How to install the musegrid audio widget?

Does anyone know how to install the MuseGrid Audio Widget. Once I get in in the library I drag it onto the page, preview it and nothing show in the browser. I have the assets folder that comes with it but have no clue how to connect the widgets assets to the audio player. As well as how to connect the mp3 file to the audio player.
There are no clear cut instructions about the install and even on the page I downloaded it from the video tutorial does not play. I think I gave away $9..Please Help

Unfortunately I can't help with that particular widget, however I will mention that we do also have an audio widget over @ MuseThemes.com. There is a training video on this page that explains how our Audio Widget works - you might have some luck getting your downloaded widget to work by using a similar method as we use...

It's actually quite simple, you double-click the extension,
    and Extension
Manager (EM) will open and install it.
Are you getting error messages (Extension package corrupt or
    something like
that) after choosing to open the extension file that's being
    downloaded,
then please save the extension first, then double-click it.

How do I set up Dreamweaver 5 menu in English?
I live in Japan but my computer set up (Mac OSX 10.9.4) is English as a primary
    language then Japanese secondary.
When I downloaded Dreamweaver 5, it was automatically downloaded
    as a Japanese version.

If you want to change the dictionary in DW, go to Edit > Preferences (see screenshot).
This won't change your Japanese version of DW to English version. For that, you need to uninstall and re-install the English language version.

  • Add Spry Widgets to Dreamweaver Insert Bar Spry Group

Hi. I'm trying to work out how to add Spry widgets to
    Dreamweaver's
    Insert bar.
I downloaded Spry for Ajax 1.6 and copied the the contents of
    the
    SpryTooltip Folder.
I did a search in Adobe Dreamweaver's program folder for
    everything Spry.
I pasted SpryTooltip everywhere in Dreamweaver that Spry
    references
exist. I even created a .png icon for Spry ToolTip in:
    Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\configuration\Objects\Spry
I opened Dreamweaver and there it was in my insert bar! My
    icon for Spry
    tooltip!
I tried to insert it into a blank age and got the message:
    "Trigger
event missing" or something like that.
I'm sure there must be a way to add these new widgets to
    Dreamweaver's
insert bar in the Spry group.
Can someone please tell me how to do it. Starting with
    SpryTooltip.
    and...
I might as well go ahead and ask how to add new Spry Effects
    to
Dreamweaver's behavior panel as well. Let's say "Pulsate" for
    an example.
PS. I've already asked this at the Spry Forum. No one has
    replied yet.

    hey,
I am a newbie to Spry too. I asked a similar question in the
    Spry Forum.
It seems that you can not get the widgets into the Insert Bar
    or on theBehavioral Panel.
To get the widgets to work, you only have the option to link
to them from your spry folder.
Spry is exciting, yet, it is still a new method, so the
WYSIWYG interface thing is still developing. Unfortunaly, if you
want to use Spry, you need to get dirty with the code stufff.
So, I too, use Spry sparingly.....
    Hope that helps.

  • Can't install widgets on homescreen

I can't seem to install widgets on my homescreen, Moto XT 1096 (2nd gen). Long press on homescreen, tap widgets, but the downloaded widget has gone into Apps rather than Widgets so I can't get it to work as a widget. There is no Widget tab in the App tray as on my old droid. How to fix?

If it is a Widget, long-press an empty space on a home screen, tap Widgets, find the Widget and long-press it, drag it to your home screen wherever you want it placed, and then let go.
If it is an App, tap Apps, find the app and long-press it, then drag it to wherever you want it on your home screen and let go.
If "the downloaded widget has gone into Apps", then it isn't a Widget, it's an App (not all apps have widgets).

  • How to install eLearning Suite silently without the license agreement prompt

I was able to install the eLearning Suite 1.0 by following the guideline "How to install Captivate Silently".  I used the "setup --mode=silent --deploymentFile=install.xml" method, and that worked except one thing.  Adobe Air prompted for a License Agreement, and I also got a demo screen pop up.  How do I supress these two pop ups when using the silent mode setup?  I know how to do this for Captivate, but folder structures are different in eLearning Suite.
    Thanks.

    Bob,
Let me know if this summary is correct:
    1. If possible allways let Vista install apps in default directories.
    2. Adobe apps and their newer versions are by default installed in new directories (except for Acrobat). For example CS4 MC would be installed as a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. Another example, eLearning Suite 4 would be installed as a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. Therefore all settings in each newly installed application need to be set up. Does each application then have its own unique data directory structure?
    3. Since each Suite is a separate entity each license is seperate. This avoids cross license issues between different Suites.
    4. If a user allways wants the same (latest) version of an application to load then one must manually uninstall old versions in the other Suites.
For example, as a default install eLearning Suite 4 would be a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. The user would then delete the following older CS3 applications (as the newer versions are in eLearning Suite 4):
    Photoshop CS3 Extended
    Flash CS3 Professional
    Dreamweaver CS3
    Soundbooth CS3
Except for Acrobat as the default install would have updated the CS3 version.

  • How to install Leopard Snow (Steps for beginners )

HI; I am a new user for Mac system, been PC since long time; Have MBP OS X 10.5.8 since 2 month and its work EXCELLENT and I am so happy with it; could some please advice me how to install the MAC OS SL up to date Disc by steps!!! I don't want to fall in any problems and a bit afraid after reading these Posts of facing trouble during installation. really need this help. thanks

Perhaps you'll receive many suggestions — here's mine:
First make a bootable clone backup (or two) of your Mac's internal HD onto an external HD using this free software (the page may be slow to load):
    http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper
Then follow Apple's own "easy steps":
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/Snow_Leopard_InstallationInstructions.pdf
Some people wait until one or two "point releases" before upgrading to a new version of OS X, e.g. they wait until 10.6.1 or 10.6.2 (containing bug fixes) becomes available. You can learn about the availability of such releases via Apple's Downloads page here:
    http://support.apple.com/downloads#macosandsoftware
...or via Mac news sites such as this: http://www.tuaw.com
Here's a list of applications and their compatibility status with Snow Leopard:

  • How to install Bumpbox for a pdf

    Hello everyone.
I'm looking feverishly for explicit instructions on how to install bumpbox to get it working in Dreamweaver CS4. I can't find anywhere on the web where exactly the folder or files should be installed (locally) and a good example of code to make it work for a pdf. Do you either know of a site that spells it out for novice to mid-level user or can you possibly provide me with what worked for you?
Again, I need an example of full code for a pdf and where to install the folder and/or files.
    With thanks.

  • How To Install Using "Dreamweaver_11_5_LS1" File ?

    Hi,
I have downloaded a version of DreamWeaver (CS5.5) from the ProDesignTools web site that has links to older versions of Adobe applications but am not sure how to install it.
The file I downloaded is named:
    Dreamweaver_11_5_LSI
There is no file extension and I get a message box from Windows asking me what application I wish to use to open the file.
    Any help most appreciated.
    Rgds

You need to use Gizmo Central (http://arainia.com/software/gizmo/download.html) to load the LSI file as a virtual drive. Then you can install it.
