How to install without the disk deskjet 2512

Hello I have recently moved and took printer but not computer.  How can I install the printer without the disk.

Hi bill440cars,
Welcome to the HP Support Forum.  I understand that you would like to install your Deskjet 2512 and need the drivers.
I have included the link to the driver download page for your printer.  You will need to choose your operating system from the drop down and follow the instructions.
If your new PC is running Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can download HP's Printer Install Wizard. It will find the best driver for your printer and operating system and guide you through installing it.

Downgrading is not supported by Apple.  Try resetting your iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider.  Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset.

  • How to install? The disk seemed to install but never asked for a serial #.

I bought this on Amazon's Black Friday last year and never installed it until I got a MacBook and the box says Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 for Windows and Mac OS.  There was only 1 disk inside and it was shrink wrapped so I assume it was genuine Adobe as I got it straight from Amazon.
    Any clues?
    Thanks, Bunnie

I don't know if there is a number for the absolutely frustrated at
Adobe, but I could use it.
I downloaded the trial version, and on my desktop sits an icon
Lightroom 3.4 and the previous icon Lightroom 3 is gone.
I have tried dragging a photo onto the icon (ala Photoshop) to make
    it open and NOTHING happens.
I double click on the icon and NOTHING happens except the original
dialog box opens up asking if I want to install the software.
There is no possibility to click on "help" or anything else under
Lightroom as it still shows Finder.
I don't want to bother you, I will try to find a number for Adobe.
This is just maddening. I get the IDENTICAL results with the trial as
with the disk, just the couple minutes of software install, an icon
on the desktop and no ability to enter a password or anything but
return to exactly what I first did.
Sometimes life is just like that and if I had an ancient Mac I would
say OK, but this is not a year old yet.
    Thanks, Bunnie

  • Installing without the disk drive?

I previously bought photoshop elements 7 for my pc. Since then that computer has died. I have a new operating system, however it has no disk drive for me to reinstall this software. Can I use my serial number from purchased disk to download the software on my new pc? and where do i do this?

if you follow all 7 steps (listed here, http://prodesigntools.com/direct-download-links-for-lightroom-3-and-photoshop-elements-8.h tml#download-instructions ), you can dl a trial via one of the links on this page:  http://prodesigntools.com/direct-download-links-for-lightroom-3-and-photoshop-elements-8.h tml/comment-page-1#comment-2174
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

  • Installing Programs Without The Disk Drive Icon Loading On Desktop

    Hey,
I am super anal and don't like any icons on my desktop and I am wondering how, when installing programs, you can install them without the disk drive icon being left on the desktop?
    Thanks.

Oh, right, sorry, one thing I didn't mention. I DO like to have CDs and DVDs and such show up on the desktop when I (seldomly) have them in my computer.
So, is there any other way? If I uncheck the CDs and DVDs line then this solves the disk drive icon but also gets rid of my CD icons.

  • Wipe and install OSX Leopard without the disk

    Hi everyone,
I need to wipe my iMac and reinstall OS X Leopard. I have the install disks, but my CD drive doesn't work and can't read the disk.
Is there a way for me to wipe and install OSX Leopard without the disk?
    Thanks.

You can turn the 2011 iMac into a Firewire Optical drive.
Put the Leo Install Disc into the 2011 iMac, boot the 2011 iMac while holding t key to put it into FW Target Disk Mode, with a FW cable connect the the 2, boot older one holding Alt key, choose the Leo Install Disc to boot from.

If it's a new mini, should have Mtn Lion on it. In any case, restart into recovery mode, and follow the instructions.

Photoshop elements quit working, I uninstalled it, tried to re-install using the cd, but getting error, any other way to re-install it without the disk ?

    Yes.
    Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10
However, the real issue is why the program is not working. Did you install anything recently?
When you tried to re-install from the disk, did you shut off the antivirus program temporarily?
Have you tried a system restore to a point in time when the program was working properly?

  • How can i do a factory reset in snow leopard without the disk to start off new without losing my other programs

how can i do a factory reset on snow leopard without the disk to start off new without losing my programs?

You can't. You will need a Snow Leopard disc. You can purchase replacements for your computer from Apple:
Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 or visit online Help for more information.
To contact product and tech support: Apple - Support - Contact Apple Support.
A "factory reset" means you erase the drive securely. All of your files will be removed permanently. I suggest you make a backup:
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
      1. Open Disk Utility in the Utilities folder.
      2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
      3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
      4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag
it to the Destination entry field.
      5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
          the Source entry field.
      6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.

how to install software from disk onto imac

Are you using one of the newer iMac's with no DVD drive? If so, you can either get an external CD/DVD drive (any make - doesn't have to be Apple) or, if you have another Mac on the same network that has a CD/DVD drive you may be able to do it by turning on 'DVD or CD Sharing' on that Mac (System Preferences>Sharing). Hopefully you'll see the disk on the Mac without the DVD drive and be able to install from there.

  • IWork is not working on Yosemite after a fresh install from the disk

    Hi,
I've freshly install yosemite on my computer.
I first reinstalled my computer with original Snow Leopard and then made the upgrade to Yosemite.
After that I used the Migration Assistant to transfert my old applications.
Most of them are now running perfectly but I'm still facing issues with iWork.
It refuses to launch with a message error saying that "Pages" for example is not working with this version of Mac OS and I should make al available update.
There are indeed updates available from the App store but I can't download them because it is not available for my apple ID because someone else bought it or I cancelled the buying ?!
It's strange because I bought it with my Macbook Pro in 2010 and even after a fresh install from the disk, the message is still the same...
Any idea how to unlock these updates?

    Actually this doesn't explain everything.
I finally reinstalled Snow Leopard / iWork 09' and then upgraded to Yosemite and everything is working like a charm.
This issue has something to do with the use of the "Application migration tool" from Mac Os X Yosemite to collect old applications to the new os from another installation...
I solved my issue this way because I don't have very valuable applications that I want to transfert but for other users, this could be a real issue...
Thanks a lot for your answer
