How to install XP - need the idiots version
Hi there
I have read through a number of the threads on this board regarding installing XP in a partition and I understand that you need to go to the Toshiba site and download all the drivers for XP first and then put them on a CD (?) and then start your installation. Then people say you have to load the drivers in the right sequence - what sequence is that? And do you first load XP and then the drivers? How do you do that, do you change the settings in the BIOS to boot from CD?
Sorry, this is very Not Technical, but I would really like to understand!

You dont need to put the drivers on the CD. You can download and save it on the HDD and can install the single drivers from the HDD.

Sometimes the Toshiba driver page provides an installation instruction document. There you can find the right installation order. Check on the driver page under your notebook series if such installation instruction txt file exists.

Of course you have to install firstly the XP on the notebook. Why should the driver installation functions without the OS? Very strange question ?:|

Insert the CD into the CD/DVD drive and press power button. Then immediately press several times the C button. This would enable the booting from the ODD (CD drive)

You do not install fonts in Pages, you install them in the System. Purchase/Download them and double click on them to install.
The manual for Pages 5 is online. Click on the link under the Help menu.

rigght after i got the ios 7 update i noticed everything from my icloud was on my phone i dont want all that stuff on here so i plugged it into my computer and its saying that i need the latest version of itunes i have downloaded it twice and i am still getting the same error message. So my question is how am i supposed to download the latest version of itunes if its not working. it says for a Windows computer the update is 11.0.5 but i need 11.1 what am i supposed to do ?
you dont need computer. go to settings > icloud and turn off what you dont want like photostream/calendars/contacts. for itunes 11.1 you need to go to itunes.com and download it then install it.

how to get access to my iCloud back up when setting up a new iPhone 5s which needs the newest version of iOS7 first?
Set up the new phone as a new iPhone (without using your backup), then update it to the latest iOS (7.1.2). Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts. I am trying to open a pages document however it tells me I need the new version to do so. I have installed the new version however it keeps saying I need the new version. I have noticed that I still have the old blue ink pot icon not the new orange pen.
Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

I installed iWork11 but the '09 versions of the software are still running--and the default. What do I need to do to get the '11 versions working?
It's very simple. If you want to use iPhoto, just let it manage things as it does. Other than that: Export from iPhoto and delete the image from iPhoto. That will remove the master and all versions.
If space is an issue... use an external disk.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.

Normally an Elements license is valid for both Windows and Mac systems. So you might only need to download the Mac versions of the applications and use your serial number to activate them.

Hello, I've got a Upgrade-Version of CS5.5 for Windows and changed to a Mac. Now I need the Mac-Version. I tried to install the Download from Adobe. Unfortunatly it didn't accept my password. I have a Mac and even though Flash (11.something) says it's installed, I still get messages (FB, youtube, pandora) saying I need the latest version (10 something). I have it!

How can I update to the new version of Firefox if I have Linux Canaima 2.0?
Hi! I have a laptop acer and I have installed Linux Canaima 2.0.3, which is a debian distribution with some features of Ubuntu. I downloaded the new version of Firefox, but could not install because it tells me that there are certain dependencies with the old version and how to do to remove the previous version of browser and install the new one. Please I need your help. Thanks in advance.
Either you need to install those missing dependencies or install a more up to date Linux distro version that has more current packages and not ones that are probably from 4+ years ago being based on a long term support debian version.

I built a VI using LabVIEW 7.0 that detects the valleys in a sine wave. It uses the 'Peak detector' VI that I believe is available in the evaluation version.
(Functions palette >> All Functions >> Analyze >> Signal Processing >> Time Domain >> Peak Detector)

I am running Mac OS X 10.10.3 with the latest Safari version 8.0.5.
I have uninstalled and removed cache and reinstalled the Flash Player 17 many times, but still get this message when i try to view a video in Adobe TV.
I have version 17 of Flash player installed but the Adobe TV is asking me to upgrade to v10.2.Try using a different browser and/or be sure to install and enable the Flash Player plugins for your browser.

My computer runs on Windows 7, and I've installed and updated the latest versions of itunes etc, but still to no avail! I've tried different usb ports, troubleshooting, etc... But it still says "One of the USB decuces arrached to this omputer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it".
The iPod is brand new, sent to me by Apple as part of the 1st gen replacement programme. I've been using the cable that came with the 1st gen iPod (I bought the first gen second hand) It always worked on my computer with the 1st gen iPod. So I was wondering, do you think I need to replace my cable in order for my PC to recognize my iPod or is it something else?
