when i try the addon for flashget it says blablabla.xpi not found , i guess its made for xp or something like that .
Instead of the addon for Flashget you should also be able to use the addon Flashgot.

Just installed Firefox on my second Windows machine (running XP Home). Unlike my other installation, every time I start Firefox I get TWO tabs - my home page AND a "Mozilla Firefox Start Page" that contains only a Google search input. I don't need the useless start page, but haven't found anything that tells me how to stop it from loading.
Try This works good for those who aren't computer tech savvy like me
Type about:config in the address bar
Click I'll be careful, I promise if prompted
In the Filter input field type startup
Double click on startup.homepage_override_url
Delete the text string and click OK
Close Firefox and reopen the window to verify that it has worked.

Are you sure that the HSBC bank site only supports such an old Firefox version?
A bank site should known better then to force visitors to use old and no longer supported browser versions.
Can you post a link to a page that you can access without authorization (log in) that gives such an error message ?

How can I download the Mozilla Firefox version 1.5 or 2?
I need the older versions I mention above for a program I want to use on my mac book pro. Those are currently the only versions supported by the website. How can I obtain them through your site? All I see are the newer 5.0 versions

There is a "Continue" and a "Stop Script" button selection.
I'm not sure this is something to worry about.
I assume you have some web pages coming up when you start. One or more of these pages has a javascript program running when the page loads. This program is runnin' out of time for some reason.
Does your browser come up with some pages loaded? Try getting rid of these pages. The message should go away.
We have version 1.5.0.2 of Firefox installed. Firefox appears to run without issue.

How do I "UNLINK" my 4 Firefox windows?

I think I remember checking a box a while back, to open & keep all the Firefox sessions "TOGETHER" (next to each other on the top title bar).
