How to join two audio books into one

Somehow the audiobook that i have had for a while got split into two different audiobooks
Is there someway to merge them back together?

The following solution will merge two audio streams of different formats and mix two audio streams of the same format... translation, make sure they're the same format before you merge them.

I am considering getting an SSHD (SSD+HDD in an SSD form factor) and using this as the second drive. its not much more expensive (like 10$ more) and itgetsme semi-SSD like performance on a mass scale of storage.
HOw can I combine these two drives into ONE partition? 480GB will take awhile to fill up, but this is a future proof wall to use.
I Will eventually invest in an external storage option (2-3 HDDS in one caddy for backups and storing 1080p video all under one roof. depends if the board im using actually has thunderbolt or usb that is fast enough-because of the crappy hdd i cant get it to boot into an OS or go through usb recovery without it freezing. I ahve tried re-applying thermal paste, still doesnt help)
HOw can i easily partition these two drives into one?
also, my friend needs a new HDD because bootup times in his macbook pro are at like 2 mins+ and hes running Core 2 Duo, with 8 G ram and 10.9 (Mav) should i recommend an SSHD or an ssd. (He doesnt want an HDD, hes had bad 'voodoo' with em'. Thanks!

Mergin two audio tracks into one without hardware

Hello i'm Michele from Italy.
I'm trying to develop a system to merge two audio traks together but at moment i didn't find a good solution.
I guess the object javax.sound.sampled.Mixer seems to need an hardware audio card (wich is not present in remote servers) and this class http://www.jsresources.org/examples/MixingFloatAudioInputStream.java.html
do the job with poor results, no pan is avaible, stereo is not supported well.
may someone help me to use one of this classes in right way?

As for Mixers, I do believe that there should always be a software mixer installed on the system, but I'd be worried about throwing a Headless exception if you're running them on a remote server.
If you're okay with using JMF, then there is an example program that merges tracks into a single file...

Adobe Acrobat XI for mac, how to reverse pages in a pdf file and how to collate two pdf files into one

I scanned some large documents, which were two sided. Because they were printed on glossy paper, I could not scan the pages double sided. So I made two files, one file containing all the even pages and one file containing all the odd pages. Now I have two problems: 1. the pages in the even pages file are in the reversed order, so I need to reverse the order of all the pages in this file. Then I need to combine these two files (collate) so that all the odd and even pages are combined into one single file and all the pages are in the correct order.
In older acrobat pro programs (windows) I found a javascript file that could fix all this. However now I have Acrobat XI and I have a macbook pro, so now I'm completely lost. Can anyone help me with this problem?

If you have a script that does it then you should use it... Open the console and run this command:
app.getPath("app", "javascript");
It will print out the location you need to use for the .js file you have. Then restart Acrobat and you should be good to go.

To Join two SAP fields into one info object

Can you please suggest the best method to concatenate values from two R/3 fields into one info object master data table?
The requirement is to create a Sales report where I need to report on sales against sales type.
Sales type is a list of joint values of item category ( 0ITEM_CATEG) and bill type (0BILL_TYPE).
So, I need a list of all item categories and billing types in a single object and report sales value against it.

In DSO any case you will not be having more than 16 Keys. I am surprised seeing requirement of more than 16 keys, but anyways you need to go with some workaround.
You can concatenate multiple Fields and map to one Dummy InfoObject which will be Key in DSO so in actual you have more than 16 Keys but have 16 Keys in system.
But analyze requirement in detail because this will increase data redundancy and time for load will get increased.
Also for new issues start new discussion otherwise people will not able to help you in this forum.

Where did the possibility to join two smooth endpoints into one go?

I used get a dialog box when joining two overlapping endpoint, that is if they truly were on top of each other. I would get a dialog box when selecting two endpoints and pressing cmd+j where I could choose either smooth or corner.
Now in Illustrator CS6 I do not get any dialog box no matter what I do and it always joins the two endpoints as corner even thoug they both started out as smooth - that is had both their arms. Is there another way to do this now?

Well ... since I use "Average and join" all the time and very seldom only "Join" I just switched the shortcuts, so now Join has the 4-keys shortcut.
Actually I can't think of a time I needed the corner join. Most of the time I use Pen Tool, and join paths with that, and with corner joins I just remove any excess points, but with more difficult smooth path constructions I find I often need the smooth join.
I never figured why one can't select more than one arm like you can select more than one point ... it would make altering symetric paths symetrically so much easier.

You cannot merge two reports into one PDF - not in any CR SDK. There are 3rd party utilities that will let you do this, but no APIs for this in CR.

How to sync an audio book into Itouch?

I put the audio book in the itunes library, but after syncing it goes to the music library at my itouch and the audio book category remains empty. Therefore, I cannot use the audio book features when listening to the audio book tracks. Can anyone help me please?

you need to highlight the tracks, right click, get info, options. change the 'media kind' to audiobook.

ABAP routine to join two ODS objects into one

i have two ODS objects related to each other. and i want to load them into another ODS object and join them so to say.
as far as i got now, it seems that the only way to do this is an ABAP routine in the update rules. ca nanyone give me a hint on how to do this? no clue how ABAP works yet.
i suppose there must be some template or something because i think others must have had the same issue before. anyone who already solved this?

Now I want to get one mp4 file which contaions one cilent's audio and video informations and another client's audio information when recording

How to use two audio souces in one multicam clip

I have a three cameras, and an additional audio source. Making the multicam clip with of the four elements was easy, however I would like to use both the audio from two different sources at the same time. Is this possible? I know about switching the audio from one source to the other, but in some cases, I have talent on stage left and on stage right, and I need the audio pick up from both regardless of the video angle.

You can do it this way.
In the multicam select audio to left clip.
Then find the right clip, detach its audio, take its audio & align it to the multicam clips.
This way you have audio from let & right

How to concanete two text fields into One in Report?

I have used two charactersitics - ZLTEXT1 and ZLTEXT2 which is an attribute of Master - Zobject.The character length of ZLtext1 and ZLtext2 are 60.Both these objects carry long text description entered in R/3 which is off 100 characters and i have extracted in BW using two infoobjects.How do i concatenate both these objects in report so that the text description gives a meaning.

I purchase 2 audiobooks on an iphone 4 and I synced them with a different computer and put them on the computer. I no longer have the phone to put on the main computer. How do i transfer songs from one computer to another?

You can try using DROPBOX.
Get them on both computers and drag and drop.
It's free depending on how much you are transferring.
