How to jump 10 frames ahead on timeline

I know I can hold the SHIFT key and hit the right arrow and move my playhead ahead one second
on the timeline, but is there a way to make your playhead jump in 10 frame increments?
Thanks

You're right. That does work. Thank you. But it's an awful lot of buttons to hit just to jump the playhead 10 frames ahead.
Is there no other shortcut? I was hoping that since holding SHIFT and hitting the right arrow let you jump the playhead in 1 second increments, there might be something similar to continuously jump in 10 frame increments?

  • In authorware .avi files are jumping (when paused) to one frame ahead on mouseover.

    Dear All,
I had prepared the CBT in a Authorware application (version 7.02) and published it.
The .avi files are playing well in my system (OS=Win XP) and same CBT file in some of the Win XP systems it is not playing well.
i,e. when the movie is playing and I click on the pause button the movie.avi is paused, but the real problem is persisting when I bring my cursor on the different navigation buttons (mouseover) then the movie is jumping to one (1) frame, and if I scroll the text samething is happening the movie is heading forward one frame ahead. But when I click on Play button the movie is playing from the place where it has been paused.
I tried to check in the Virtual Machine and the CBT is working fine, whereas in the upgraded WinXP systems the CBT is giving the problems.
I tried to resolve the problem along with System Administrator (they were saying that the Authorware Software need to give some patch files.)
Please HELP me out with the patch files I need to upload along with the CBT system.
As I tried to copy all the xtra's into the XTRA folder but still the problem persists.
Please let me know what to do.
    Thanks and Regards

There are no patches for Authorware that will change the way video plays. As far as I know there are no patches for Authorware beyond 7.0.2. You have the most current version. You could try renaming the file to .wmv which will change the extension that would be used from a7vfw32.xmo to a7wmp32.xmo. The a7vfw32 is used for avi files but a7wmp32.xmo uses the Windows Media Player in the background to run the file. If this doesn't work are you able to try different movie formats?

  • How to jump to next marker of selected clip in timeline?

So, I finally figured out how to mark my clips in CS6, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to navigate between clip markers in the timeline.  There's an obscure reference in the help files but as far as I can tell it's talking about sequence markers, not clip markers?
I have a clip selected, there's a marker in it, all I want to do is jump to it in the timeline.  How?

Clip marker timeline navigation has been removed.  Please file a feature request to restore all the clip marker functionality we had in every previous version of PP.

  • Premiere Pro CC- Setting Out point sets 5 frames ahead of the cursor?

may have accidentally set Premiere Pro so that every out point I set, it advances 5 frames ahead, making it very frustrating to make cuts at precise points. There is now a dashed orange line next to the cursor.
I can't find the setting to disable this. Any ideas?
Here is an example of what it looks like in the timeline:

Give the FLVPlayback component instance name "player" and
place the following action on the timeline frame:
    player.addEventListener("complete",function (event:Object) {
    trace("done Video");
    //some action here....
//an example of url call after video is done playing
    gotoAndStop(2);});

I am trying to edit an FLV file with flash professiona.  Right now every frame is on long frame sequence, meaning that right now there is only one key fram in the entire 40 second animation.  I am trying to add put key frames at various points in my animation but when I attempt to add a new key frame into the timeline it copies ever frame up to the selected and adds it to the front of my timeline.  Any Idea how to fix this?  I want to break my video up so I can add some shape tweens in between some of the frames

  • How to add key frames in CC

I'm just trying out CC and can hardly get past get-go :-(
I surfed for help for 45 minutes and found nothing useful.
Sadly after telling people people for at least 15 years that Adobe has great products but the worst help files of probably any major company, it's still true.
Adobe help still assumes that you know the answer that your looking for :-(  Whenever I surf for help I try anything before a URL marked Adobe.
    Anyway that's why I"m here ;-)
I'm staring at the CC timeline and I wan't to fade in both picture and sound; so how do I add key frames?
    Thanks,
    Michael

    @Shooternz
Firstly, I really do appreciate your help and thanks to it I now know how to add the key frames.
But to give you an example of Adobe type help and to show that I'm not just being a grouch ;-)
I followed your link which took me to - Premiere Pro / Adding, navigating, and setting keyframes.
    Great!
But does the article start with "How to add key frames"?
    No it doesn't :-(
The article is presented in this order,
    View keyframes and graphs
Move the current-time indicator to a keyframe
    Add, select, and delete keyframes
    Modify keyframe values
    Why?
Why doesn't it start with Add, select, and delete keyframes which would be logical?
Thanks to you I also managed to find http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/premiere_pro_reference.pdf

  • How to jump to main movie from protected movie

    Hi All,
I'm beginer of director user. I'm place director protected
    movie in main projector movie.
I want to use ( go or go frame , etc ) jump to frame of main
    movie from director protected movie.
Now i write _movie.go ( frame, movie) in director protected
    movie. But it doesn't work.
Please show to me how to write for that.
    Thanks,

    Try:
go frame <targetFrame> of movie <targetMovie>
<targetFrame> can be an integer frame number or string
    marker name.
<targetMovie> can be an absolute or relative path to
the movie. You do not need to include the ".dir", ".dxr" or ".dcr"
    extension.

  • Saving frame by frame in the timeline

I am editing a short avi clip converted from a 1959 8mm film in the timeline.  The telecine conversion results in as sharp an image as I have manged to get using PPro 5.5 unsharp mask.  I tried mocha planar tracking to automatically remove a fixed spider web on the top edge of each frame in the clip.   Because the web is not distinct and the background does not progress at a steady fixed pace, the mocha procedure was not successful.  Previous feedback recommended methods to mask the edge.  Using various masking attempts to automate the procedure was also unsuccessful for the same reasons as mocha.
I have the time and decided to replace the spider web on each frame edge using photoshop tools e.g. clone stamp etc. - although other tools such as healing brush do not appear to work in the timeline as I expect.  My saves so far have resulted in a whole clip being saved with all following frames being modified similar to the first edited frame.  Perhaps I am not using the editing procedures in photoshop from the timeline correctly.
How do I save frame by frame in the timeline?

I am now at layer 50 from the frame conversion to layers with many more to go.  The results of the Polygonal Lasso Tool with copy, paste, and merge down plus the Spot Healing Brush Tool are impressive.  Most of the layers so far have had sky with clouds on top.  Because the original 8mm film converted to digital was kept in high humidity for some time, the resulting sky is blotchy and changes from layer to layer.  I started editing layer by layer but now I have experience with this, I have decided to concentrate on editing one good sky rendition then copying it to the rest of the frames.  The only glitch in the swing of things has been to remember to merge down after each paste.  Having loaned the video to someone with a dirty film gate has left some dark lines down each layer.  The Spot Healing Brush tool at 12px is incredible at removing the lines while maintaining the detail of the background.  This is tedious work but a family 8mm film from 1950s in the South Pacific is worth the effort.
The spider web that was on the camera film gate on the top left remains fixed.  Several lines are also mostly fixed.
I have some programming experience.  Is there a way of developing an automated maco to replace imperfections that are the same from layer to layer using Photoshop tools?

  • Jump to frame 5?

Hi guys can anyone help me onLoadMovie, jump to frame 5'
    script? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I just need a script for when the the
movie loads, it starts at a frame 5 on the timeline and not frame
    1. Any ideas?

  • How to adjust the frame number in this script?

I have a timeline slider part to my animation which starts at frame 1089 and ends at frame 1173, I have a script which allows me to do this and works perfectly when I build it in a new flash file starting at frame 1, I need this code to work for the animation I have built at frame 1089, I dont know which number "1's" in the script relate to the frame number, I have tried changing them all to 1089 but that doesn't work! at the moment as soon as I click on this it jumps back to frame number 1 - which I believe as the code stands is exactly what it should be doing. Please could anyone edit this code so that it realises which frames I want it to work in?  Thank you in anticipation, Ellie x

  • How to use the frame viewer?

I've been watching some tutorial videos and wondered how they take a frame from two clips, and put them in the frame viewer. One half of the image is from one clip, the other, another. How do I do this? Thanks.

The frame viewer has 2 drop down menus at the lower left and right corners. The left menu has a green icon, and the right menu has a blue icon. These icons correspond with the frame boundary indicator in the frame viewer window.
The view options that are included in the drop menus are:
-2nd Edit Back: Displays the frame of the Out point two edits back.
-Previous Edit: Displays the frame of the Out point one edit back.
-Current Frame: Displays the frame corresponding to the position of the playhead in the Timeline.
-Current w/o Filters: Displays the same frame as the Current Frame option, without filters applied to the clip.
-Next Edit: Displays the frame of the In point one edit forward.
-2nd Edit Forward: Displays the frame of the In point two edits forward.
-In Point: Displays the frame corresponding to the currently defined In point of the sequence in the Timeline.
-Out Point: Displays the frame corresponding to the currently defined Out point of the sequence in the Timeline.
This is from pages 556 & 557 of the Final Cut Pro Users Manual.
    Hope this helps.
