How to keep an account out of the master Inbox?

Besides my normal email account, I have another account that I share with my wife. It gets lots of odds and ends that I rarely care about, so what I made a rule that would move the email from that account to a separate folder. That way, it didn't clutter my inbox and I could still look at it by clicking on that folder.
That was fine before, when the account was POP. Now, we've had to change it to IMAP to share among multiple computers and iPhones. So, how do I do this now?
I don't want to move that account's messages because then they're not in the Inbox on the server which messes everything else up. Just on this computer, I don't want to see messages from this account in the unified Inbox.
Any suggestions? Sorry if that wasn't clear...

Not sure that I had fully understood the role of other computers, although understood for phone devices. Does you wife ever send from this computer with her account? If so, then does the provider of the account have their own SMTP, and does that SMTP place a copy on the server in her Sent mailbox? Although Gmail can do that with POP access and their SMTP, not sure what other IMAP/POP providers do?

It's normal for the Guest account to return to a default state after logging out. Applications can still be opened from the Applications & other folders.
You can add things to the Dock, & make other changes, using Workgroup Manager 10.8
although it's not especially intuitive or forgiving. Post again if you want to try it.

A quick Google search for Error 2001 would indicate that this occurs when you have a jailbroken phone or were trying to downgrade iOS. Is that true for you?

Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select that email account on the right-hand side of the screen and turn Notes 'on' for it - they should then appear in the Notes app instead of as an email folder in the Mail app (they will still be linked to that email account, so you may need to tap the 'Accounts' button at at the top left of the list of notes)

Thanks Diggie, your response was very close. I clicked on the email several times. It came up and gave me the option to Send. I clicked Send and my recipients received the email.
I did not have to delete and reinstall my email account.

For your questions, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

Quit iCal, go to System Preferences...>Language & Text>Formats>Region: and set/reset the appropriate region.
Log out/in or restart and iCal should display the a.m./p.m. format.

How to keep all text and formats the same on multiple computers?

I'm creating a file in InDesign CS6 on my Windows computer. I keep everything on my flash drive. When I go to school, I bring my flash drive with me and open it up on the Mac computer, but then there are are compatibility issues. There seems to be missing fonts and formats but the school uses the same version of InDesign I do. Now I was told a lot of things of how to keep the fonts and formats the same (embed the links, package the files, outline the text, save as IDML). However, it is not clear to me what each of those options do, so I don't know when or why to use them. So I just want to make sure that when I bring in my file in next Monday, I won't have any missing fonts or formats. What would you suggest is the proper things to do to keep everything the same on multiple computers? And could you please explain why?

If you want cross-paltform comaptibility limit the fonts to OpenType or Windows TrueType formats, both of which work on both Mac and PC. To avoid missing font warnings the fonts must either be installed on each computer, or they must be in a folder named Document Fonts in the same location as the .indd file they are to work with. Packaging the file will build taht folder for you.
the rest of the stuff in your list won't help you. .idml would allow you to open on an older version, but does nothing for your situation. Embedding the links will keep you from having missing links, but so will packaging, and embedded links will make the file much larger and harder to work with.
For goodness sake, don't even think about outlining the text. It stops being text when you do that and you can no longer edit it.
And finally. do yourself a big favor and don't attempt to actually work on your file directly from the flash drive. Copy the whole package folder to the hard drive, work on it, then copy back. You don't want to know how many files are fatally damaged by write errors on flash drives.

HT1689 I keep getting booted out of the itunes store on my brand new iPod touch. What can I do to fix the problem?

I just got my son a new iPod touch and he is trying to use the itunes store but it keeps booting him out and back to the main screen with all of his apps on it. I've tried it myself several times and it does it to me as well. I have an iPhone and have never had this issue. Does anyone know what the issue is? He is not thinking this is the greatest Christmas present at this point.
