How to keep created tool bars closed permanently

i created a toolbar for the icons of my extensions that i don't use too often. the idea is to keep the tool bar named extensions toolbar in the menu, keep it closed under normal circumstances and open it from the view menu whenever necessary. but although i keep it closed (not visible) when i quit firefox, every time i restart firefox the menu is right there, open in front of me. is there a way to fix this?

Hi,
Please see [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Preferences%20are%20not%20saved this]. You can also try to '''Reset toolbars and controls:''' and '''Make Changes and Restart''' in the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Safe+Mode Safe Mode] start screen, and then set the toolbar again.

    How do I restore this tool bar?

    Your '''menu bar''' is hidden. Press F10 or Alt on you keyboard to make the menu bar temporarily appear. Then go to Tools > Toolbars and select the menu bar to make it permanently appear.

  • How can I create side bars without cropping the image?

    I want to create side bars because I am projecting in an vertical panel, but if I crop the image them I only get the middle part of it.
    How can I create side bars in an way that I can still move the image inside?

    On a Video Track directly above the clip(s) you want to have behind the side bars, place a clip of Color (or whatever you want to use for your sidebars).
    Now go to the Effects Tab > Matte >Mask Shape and drag the Mask Shape filter to the Color clip you have placed on the timeline.
    Double click on the clip to open it in the viewer, and click on the Filters Tab.
    Click Invert Box, and adjust the shape to get the side bars you want.
    And now the clip(s) that are beneath this effect will have the side bars and be independent of it, so that you can move them around.

  • How to keep a progress bar

    Hi all,
               I want to keep a progress bar to my views on each action.How  to keep that??
    Can anyone plz help me out
    Regards
    Padma N

    Hi,
    A progress bar has 3 main properties namely
    1) barcolor -which will decide color of progressbar.
    create a context say ctx_barcolor of ProgressIndicatorBarColor type
    which u can find in com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions
    2) percentvalue  -This will decide the curent length of indicator.
    This should be an integer say ctx_prcnt.
    3) displayvalue -This will decide which value u want to display in ur progress bar.
    This should be a String.For instance say ctx_dispval.
    Now suppose I want to set my progress bar to 80% and say of green color.
    Then first of all I will set percentvalue property.
    wdContext.currentcontextelement.setCtx_prcnt(80);
    Then I will set barcolor property.
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setCtx_barcolor(WDProgressIndicatorBarColor.POSITIVE);
    And  finally I will set displayvalue property.
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setCtx_dispval(wdContext.currentContextElement().getCtx_va_prcnt()+"%");
    Collectivelly
    wdContext.currentcontextelement.setCtx_prcnt(80);
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setCtx_barcolor(WDProgressIndicatorBarColor.POSITIVE);
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setCtx_dispval(wdContext.currentContextElement().getCtx_va_prcnt()+"%");
    I hope this helps

  • How to keep the Navigation Bar to a certain # of pixels?

    I'd like to know how to control the Nav Bar so that it always remains a certain number of pixels wide. I looks like I can set the Navigation Bar Width to a value, ie 150 pixels. But if the window grows, so does the Nav Bar. The configured width appears to be the minimum the Nav Bar can shrink to, not the max it can grow to. Is there a way to control the max width of the Navigation Bar?
    Portal version is 3.0.8

    Hi,
    I thinks that you should use your navbar in a dedicated area, where you can specify the width in pixel or in percentage (default option).
    I hope this can help you !

  • How to dynamic create Splitter Bars

     just like  this  user interface

    bar.JPG ‏178 KB

    I'm confused by the title of this question. What is it that you want to do dynamically?
    Hi Michael,
    May be I'm wrong (as you can notice my mother tongue is not English) but my interpretation of Mike's question is "What are splitter bars ?" and not "How can I dynamically add a splitter bar to a FP ?" Only Mike could confirm if this was his original question...
    Unfortunately, I don't know how to create a splitter bar programatically, and even more, I'm afraid that this is not possible. So my aim was only to answer to what seemed to be the source of Mike's confusion.
    This being said, I hope that Mike's and your confusion left !

  • How do you create scroll bars in Stickies using xcode with LION?

    I was reading this but its out of date but I still want to make scroll bars on my sticky notes:
    http://mac.appstorm.net/how-to/utilities-how-to/become-a-stickies-ninja-tips-tri cks-secrets/
    (its the last tip on the webage)
    thanks

    That hack still works (Lion's scroll bars sure are skinny though), you just have to go far enough back to find a Stickies application that still has editable nib files (pretty much everything uses compiled nibs these days).  I'm not sure where I found it (it's been a while), but it was at least as far back as Leopard.
    I will agree with the article in that you shouldn't mess with the original application, just make a copy and stick it in your user's account.
