How to keep layout changes in other pages

I am just starting with iWeb and came across a question. When I choose a theme for a website and make the 'welcome' page, but change some layout things, colours, positioning of textboxes, is it than possible to copy those changes in the other pages like 'about' and so? Or do I have to copy the first page over and over? In the least case I will have a problem with the albums and slide show I guess?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. iWeb doesn't have the capability of carrying over layout changes from the first page to additional pages. If you plan on using the same theme frequently create a second site, add each page type that you might use, make the layout changes to each one and save. Then if you need a photo page in your working site duplicate the photo page in the "layout" site and drag it up to the working site.

I have remote application connect with ADF jar lib and local application. when i enter data to my local application and redirect to remote application and enter the data their also. But when I link to local app page via url view but I entered data is not there. I am not commited any page data. In remote app... alos link but there also no data. how to keep them??

I have developed ADF 3 web applications. 2 of them are connect as ADF jar lib files in other application. That application name is local application and other 2 mentioned as remote application(jar lib files). those are in taskflowcall. IN my Local Application which has Application Module. so I selected remote application's Application modules as Application Module Instances. Then in my Local Application DataControl which include that added Application Modules inside the local application DataControl. which are in nested. Remote application DataControl also appear in the local app DataControl.
Problem is I want to save all applications data through my local application. therefore I link to first remote app and enter data but not commit ,then come back to local app.. and enter data and again goto first remote app again, BUT entered data Not there. so I want to keep them and save all 2 remote app data and local app data.

Windows 2012 R2 / Windows Essentials Role. How to keep from Changing DNS.

Ok so I will describe my problem as best as I can.
I have 2 Servers Both 2012 R2 Standard 1 is Primary Domain controller and one is the Secondary Domain controller. I had everything set up on the domain and the Primary Domain controller was set up as the DNS on ALL clients (Static).
Recently I set up the secondary domain controller with Essentials. All went well I added all the clients to connect with Essentials. a few days went by and now all of a sudden all the Static DNS's are all changed to the Essentials box.
This Really wouldn't be a problem to me except the performance level of that DNS is EXTREAMLY slow. I run to all clients and change the static back and everything works great. then a little while goes by and all DNS's are again to the Essentials box.
SO my question would be. Is there any way to configure the Essentials box to stop redirecting the DNS to itself and keep the Primary domain controller as the DNS

If this issue still exists, would you please let me confirm whether has also installed DNS server role on the
Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (with Windows Server Essentials Experience role)?

Was using OnRequestEnd.cfm to load copyright info at bottom
of each page but page size varied and copyright info would appear
at different points on different pages. Didn't look good. Could not
use tables to align the text for output reasons. Coded a way using
CSS and JavaScript to keep text at bottom of each page. Be careful
with CFFORM, us have to set the attribute 'wMode=transparent' in
CFFORM so text is above form. Tested in IE and Netscape. Put at end

How to keep a table on one page

Hi,
Is there any way to prevent a pagebreak in a table?
If a table is selected, then the Inspector-Text-More-Pagination&Pagebreak is grayed out.
I tried Inspector-Wrap-Object Placement-Floating, which indeed keeps the table on one page, but has all kinds of nasty side-effects. I really need to keep the table inline.

In the Wrap Inspector, change the Table's property from Inline to Floating. Now you can position it on the following Page and avoid the split. Be careful though, because now you are fully responsible for the table position on the page and it will not split even if it grows larger than a page in length.

Published pages layout changes from iWeb page design why ?

In a couple of pages the layout changes from iweb design to published site, text appears out of place and headers mixed with body text ?
I have gone back to iweb but all is Ok within the file and pages visually, just publishing the site makes text changes to what viewers see

6500 slide: how to keep the change of "My Shortcut...

I followed the user guide step by step to personalize "Setting->My shortcuts->...."
However, if I switch the phone off and on again, the personal shortcuts I set will be changed back automatically as the original default setting. For example, the "left selection key" will always be "go to" function and the "right selection key" will become "O2" which is the network I'm using now.
How can I keep those changes I have made?

How to keep the banner of a page all the time?

Hi,
I created a page with a company logo on the banner. Then I have couple portlets on the page (form, report). From the form portlet, I navigate to another form. As soon as I navigate to another form, the banner on the page is gone, the new form displays in a new window without the banner. How can I keep my banner of the page all the time?
Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

What meant by "in-place drill down" is that if you have a component on a page linked to another component when you perform an action this page will reload and display the "new" component instead of the "old" one. The only problem - it will be implemented in "A" next release, not in "THE" next release. In the meantime you can use 3.0.8 feature of using the same template for your pages and components.

How can I create links to other pages in iBooks that will function in PDF?

I know some people have asked previously how to create links to other pages of their book within iBooks. I having an issue with this myself that I haven't been able to resolve. I am able to create the links, and they seem to function within the program, however, once I export the document as a PDF file (the format in which I need to have this ebook!), the links seem to be non-functional. Does anybody have a fix for this?

Exporting as a PDF does alter/lose/remove certain functions. Adobe Acrobat has its own page navigation system.
A lot of the hidden engine of iBooks Author is basically very similar to building a website! so links and books marks are an "internal" function.
IF you have Acrobat and not just the Adobe Reader, you can make links. I have never needed to try, but I see a working link related index in the many software manuals I have.

How to Transport OMT3R changes to other Clients.

Hello All
I have done the changes to MM01 Screen sequence using transaction OMT3R.
But while saving it did not ask for transport request.
Transport option is grayed out and not able to know include it to any transports.
Can any one tell me how to inlcude this changes into a Transport Request and move it to other clients?

Hi Madhu,
the values of tcode OMT3R ('Maintain Order of Main and Additional Screens') are saved in database table T133D ('Sequence Control forLogical Screens').
If these values are missing on the target system, note 108059 ('Transport of Customizing settings made in OMT3') applies. Please proceed as described there to transport table T133D, too.

You can have infinite tabs opening if you have selected Firefox as the application to handle a file if you get an ''Open with'' download window.
Firefox should not be selected as the application to handle a file and you have to remove the action that is associated with that file type.

How to carry forward subtotal to other page in smartforms

            My requirement is to calculate the subtotal of a particular page and to print that subtotal
            at the end of each page.And this subtotal has to be carry forwarded as the first item of the next page(say page2).
            And again at the end of this page(page2) I have to print the subtotal and needs to carry forward this subtotal again on to
            the first item of the page3..
           My problem is I am doing it in a table.I am calculating the subtotal and displaying the subtotal at the footer of the table..
           In the footer again I am redefining table work area values with the text 'Subtotal' and subtotal Amount so that thinking
           that it would print as first line item on the next new page....
          But the problem is I am getting subtotal as 2'nd line item on each new page instead of first line item of each page.........
          Can anyone resolve this issue.........
          I dont want this subtotal to be printed on the last page since I am getting Total of all these subtotals.....
          Below is my required structure

First define the global variable for subtotal & grand total
In the first page display the table data normally and if you dont want to print the headers of the table check the condition in the header AT START OF TABLE
calculate the grand totals (Ex. g_tot = g_tot + wa_vbap-kwmeng)
Ex.    page1   layout   (Note : next page as page2)
Header window
main window
final window
In the final window create an alternative node (in flow logic )
for alternative node put the condition as
sfsy-page = sfsy-formpages
if true
           print the data as   TOTAL   &g_tot&
else (False node)
           print the data as   SUBTOTAL   &g_tot&
Out put will be

response.sendRedirect("welcome.jsp");This doesnt look good for me..use request dispatcher to forward to ur jsps or servlets..then u can make use of ur request object to pass ur uname like request.setAttribute...and get the name back in ur welcome.jsp page..
i recommend some reading on servlets and jsps that will make u understand more than what I said rite now..:)
