How to keep the previous versions of my iWork files after moving them?

I have several iWork files which were stored in the iCloud. Today I was trying to move them into my USB drive. But after I moved them, I found that all the previous versions of these files were gone. If I moved them from iCloud to my Mac, those previous versions stayed there, but they would be gone if I moved the files into the USB drive.
Is there any way that I can keep the files' previous versions after moving to a USB drive? My USB drive is in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format.

I am sorry that I didn't make my point clear enough. By "previous versions" I mean "File > Revert To > Browse All Versions". If I moved my files to a thumb drive then it will become empty, I am wondering is there any way to prevent it from being erased. Thank you!

I upgraded to firefox 4 but it is not suitable for my version of Mac Os and don't know how to get the previous version of firefox back!

Flash Professional CS5.5 is a 32-bit application which can be installed on computers with either 32-bit or 64-bit operating systems.
You can purchase this by Adobe's backward Licensing policy :
" Adobe allows program members to order a current-version license but use a prior version. These members can contact Adobe Customer Service to request a serial number for the earlier version if they do not already have one. Prior-version software is available via ESD and can be purchased through standard resellers. The program member must follow all guidelines of the current-version EULA. "

If you mean a particular app then have got the previous version of it anywhere ? If you have then you can delete the current version of it from your iPhone and computer's iTunes, then add the old version to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library and then sync it to your iPhone.

I would like to restore the previous version of an iphone APP. I hate the new version. I deleted the new version of the app on my Iphone 4 and also on Itunes. I use windows 7 pro. Is there a way to get the previous version of that app? I use Itunes 11, which is the newest version I believe. I have done several backups this year and last year, if that helps. But I am not sure if the app was backed up as well. I know where the back ups are store in my computer. I dont know much about Itunes, can someone help please?

If you have the older version in your recycle bin, or one of your backups, delete the current version of the .ipa file, then paste in a copy of the old one. In iTunes go to the apps section of your library and attempt to Get Info for the app in question. Normally the two versions will have slightly different file names so iTunes may ask you to locate the file, do so. On your device delete the copy of the app, then sync with iTunes. You'll need to disable all forms of automatic updating, and will lose any settings and data associated with the app.
Hmm, offhand I can't recall if automatic updating in iOS 7 is optional. Check that first.

You may find the latest version of Cluster Binaries by entering the required keywords for Microsoft Failover Clustering. Some of the main Cluster binaries(Keywords) are:-
Clusres.dll (For Cluster Resources like Disk, Application or Service, Cluster IP)
Clussvc.exe (Cluster Service)
TCPIP.sys (If the Storage is presented to the cluster Nodes via ISCSI Network).
MPIO.sys / ISCSIprt.sys (If we are using Multipathing for the disks to be presented).
RHS.exe (Resource Host Subsystem)
So, the Answer to your question is: You need to enter the binary name "Clusres.dll" and mention the Operating System you want to install your binaries to "Windows Server 2008 R2 Sp1" on Bing (Preferred for Microsoft Hotfixes). In Result you will get the
list of hotfixes for clusres.dll
You need to try this multiple times in order to get the latest version as Microsoft does not have a single Link.

How to keep the ending silence of a music file?

I am fed up...
iTunes just always clips the ending silence of all my music. This is SO annoying, if you i.e. listen to a classic piece of music, Beethoven, Bach etc. ALWAYS iTunes bombs in the next title on the playlist milliseconds after the previous title has ended.
I do not know, which "60 beats a second" kid has programmed such a senseless feature....?
Of course I browsed the Internet, of course I used the search function in this forum.
It seems really many people have the same problem, but the only solutions are like adding silent 2 seconds mp3 files into the playlist.
This iTunes is really not a very well programmed software, if users needs these awkward workarounds...
Is there any smart solution to this problem? Help is really appreciated.

iTunes doesn't do anything with the "ending silence of a music file". If you have crossfading turned on (see previous comment) each track will start playing, with a predetermined fade in, before the previous one ends. You definitely want have that disabled. Otherwise, each track plays through to the end and the next one starts immediately - there is no "gap". However, you would normally expect that last few seconds of the track itself to be "silent" so that you hear a gap between each piece of music - just as you would when listening to a CD. Are you perceiving something different? There are a couple of somewhat obscure scenarios where the end of a track could be truncated. One involves a very specific error that could occur if your music has been imported from CD outside iTunes and then transferred to it - but that would require a very deliberate action with certain tools used for this purpose. In technical terms, the import ignores the "pre-gap" that may precede a track on a CD (you'd see this on some CD players as a brief - usually two second - countdown after the end of one track and before the start of the next. Most software, iTunes included, normally treats this pre-gap as part of the preceding track.
The other possibility is that the metadata associated with some tracks has been altered such that playback terminates before the actual end of the track. However, it requires a specific user action for this to happen - I can't think of a way it could happen accidentally.
Bottom line is that - unless you've hit one of these unlikely scenarios, or found a previously unreported bug (either in iTunes itself or in its interaction with audio drivers), or have that ghastly crossfade function turned on, you are hearing the music as recorded and mastered. The only other exception is the case where you are hearing the end of one album/disc immediately followed by the start of the next. Depending on how its been mastered, there could be a "shorter than expected" gap between them.

I have had LR since LR3. I bought the original program and have done updates ever since. Do I need to keep the previous versions of LR for my LR5 to work?

Just to be a little more specific, you do not need to keep LR3 installed on your computer, but the terms of your license with Adobe require you to not transfer LR3 to another person if you have upgraded to LR5; if you think of it that way, you should "keep" LR3 in that sense. The license terms allow you to have Lightroom (any version numbers) installed on any two devices (which could mean a Mac computer and a Windows PC, or a laptop or desktop, or any combination along those lines). If someone else were to attempt to register the same LR3 key you're supposed to still have to run your LR5 upgrade, either you or the other person could get blocked in that attempt.
Before upgrading, it's always a good idea to download and try out LR5 to make sure it runs well on the computer you want to use it on--some devices that can run LR3 well can't run a later version well, and if that applies to your hardware, it's best to figure it out before you've paid for LR5.

Adobe eLearning Suite 6 - Upgrading to 6 and keeping the previous version - is it allowed? Possible?

I have just completed an enormous year long project in CP El Suite 5 and want to upgrade to 6. I need to keep a version 5 to handle edits to the legacy materials but need to get going in 6 so I can enjoy all those new features. Is there any way to keep 5 and install 6 as a separate full install under the one upgrade license?

I say that because on the RoboHelp side of things, we see regular admonitions that it's NOT okay per the licensing to purchase an upgrade at upgrade prices, then continue to use both the older and newer versions side by side.
I'm not sure if there is logically any way to realistically police that, but just as you are 99.9% certain it's fine with Adobe, I'm going to crawl way out here on this shaky little limb and state that I'm about 78.5% certain it's not okay if you read the licensing agreement.
And here's a fun little tidbit. Did you know that 87.4% of all statistics are totally made up on the spot?

How to keep the ".mac" version email address from showing up in Mail?

I was a .Mac guy way back. MobileMe came out. Now I have two emails, the difference being the domain. One .mac and one .me.
I just want to use the .me. I had several aliases and they all have the same issue. When I choose which email address to send it from, I have a ton of emails to choose from. I could cut that in half without all the .mac ones. Anyway to fix this so only the .me address show up in the from field?
