I have completely redesigned my muse website and want to replace the old one which is already live. How do I go about doing so and keeping the same URL?

When I create a sales order with item cost 100 USD.
Then the cost of item changed and down to 90 USD.
When I do goods return refer to the sales order. How can I keep the same cost (VPRS) 100 USD but not 90 USD?
I made a test the cost in sales order is 100 USD but 90 USD in return sales order.
I want the cost in return sales order is 100 USD.

Let me tell u my understanding of your requirement, after the sales the cost of the item is changed to some thing low than it was in sales order or invoice, in this scenario you need to transfer the cost of the material as it is in the sale order or invoice (which you are taking as reference to create a Return Order), am i right?
If so, you can proceed like this.
In the copy controls of Billing to Sales orders ( F2 to RE) we have the pricing type N assigned to it ( Transfer pricing components unchanged, New Cost) here the system is reading the change of the cost again from the material master. if you don' t want it to read the material master data again we can have a change try with pricing type 'D' (Copy Pricing elements unchanged), and try now.

How to keep the same image quality after OCR ?
Hello, I have scanned a page of a book, it has mostly black text over white background. In order to keep a good visual quality and a low size for the file I chose the GIF format. The gif is 153.4KB, when I save it as PDF the file is 119KB and after OCR it is 224.2KB (however the resulting rich text is only 3.6KB).
How come the PDF is smaller than the GIF ? Is the GIF converted into a JPEG ?
How come after OCR the PDF is twice bigger while the added text is only a few KB ? Is the image converted again ?
I only want to keep my GIF as it is and OCR it.
Is it possible ? Even though in the "Convert to PDF" settings it says "There are no settings that can be edited in Conpuserve GIF"
If not, what other software could I use ? I have DEVONthink Pro but it also converts my GIF against my will.niuza wrote:

Well I'd like to see that, because before optimizing a PDF you must save it and when you save it the image is converted.
Here is what I get with a 600DPI TIF converted to PDF. Notice the difference.
Because DPI (Dots per inch) density affects the quality of the OCR. The higher the dpi, the better looking and more reliable the OCR. The less DPI is , the poorer the quality, and less relaible the scan is. There are different settings under the Create PDF Using Scanner Those setting affect the Quality of the OCR.
Once the Document has been OCR'ed have you tried to save as a Word Document or as an RTF Document? Then sleceted all the text and choosen a Font (Arial for example) save as a word document. Then created a new PDF. It might clean up the look at the text.
I will leave the answer at this and let someone else try. I don't wish to get anyone upset. -

You should be able to copy and paste in Firefox. Its easier to do it in the Library:
* Bookmarks [[Image: Bookmarks-29]] > Show All Bookmarks
* For quick work, highlight bookmarks and use ctrl+c/ctrl+v to copy and paste
It also works on the bookmark toolbar by bringing up the context menu (right clicking) and pasting via the context menu, assuming you navigate to the folder.
It sounds like this is what you have been doing; can you describe what happens when you try copying? Note that if you copy a bookmark (or several) and paste it into a text editor such as Notepad to see if it is actually copying. -
How do you keep the same URL connection connected continuously?
I am trying to extract information from a web page, but it puts a cust_id in the middle of the URL. It generates the cust_id randomly everytime you use the site. I connect to the initial URL to find the cust_id, I substring that to the new URL and then make a new connection to extract the information, but the web page gives me an error saying that it doesn't recognise the cust_id. As if it was a new connection with the wrong cust_id.
How can I keep the first connection open and with the same cust_id information and then jump to another web page but using the initial connection. Using IE6 I can just cut and paste the second URL and get to the page, but with my java application it doesn?t work. Please have a look at my code and let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

How to keep the SAME position of layout on left & right pages when adding a page?
A little background first before I ask the question:
I've been converting a PowerPoint document to the InDesign format, and adding pages as I go through by duplicating a page in order to keep the top description text in the same position at the top left hand side. The document is over 110 pages- more pages will be added soon, and some pages deleted. Basically the presentation will be printed as a book, and the client we are designing this presentation for sent us the master pages for the layout.
The issue I'm now having: I had to delete an odd number of pages which caused a shift of the layout of pages throughout the document after the pages I deleted. I figured that the right hand page was not aligned the same as the right hand page, so I measured in the same distance from the left edge on both pages and made the adjustments. But then when I added a page, the alignment shifted again.
Is this an issue with the master pages? Or is this another issue? Any idea how to fix this so that the pages are aligned the same whether I add or delete a page? I've included two screen grabs to better illustrate what is happening:

VeraThose are your margin guides, and your client evidently expects the margins to be larger on the outside of the page than at the spine. Putting the text frame that says Main Building... on the master page will not only save you having to enter it each time, but will let you put it where it should be and have it stay there when pages switch sides. Your images are going to seem to shift, too, unless they are centered on the page on the horizontal axis.
I'm sensing you really have little or no experience using ID, and some basic training would probably help you quite a bit. I'll recommend Sandee Cohen's Visual Quickstart Guide to InDesign -- best book out there for beginners. -
Q: How to retrieve the current URL with PL/SQL
I've got a pair of dynamic page portlets on a page. The first is simply an input text box and a submit button, the second is an inventory 'report' based on what is entered in the text box. When a value is entered and the button pressed, there is javascript behind the button that takes the current URL, adds '&ITEM=XXXXXXXX' (removing it first if this is not the first invocation of the page), and redirects to the new page.
The second portlet uses the &ITEM parm to list a bill of materials for the item. If one of the items possesses a sub-assembly, I want to display the item# in an <a href= manner to make it so the user can simply click on the link to see the BOM of the subassembly.
To do this, I believe I need to capture the current url and modify it as required to pass the new &ITEM value. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to get the current page url. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a similar problem I have developed a pl/sql portlet and put it into a page, this portlets display a dynamic page. This dynamic page have a search functionality, what I am trying to do is that when I click the search button on the dynamic page it recall the whole page and pass the paremeter that the user wrote on the search box, then the portlet that contains the dynamic page recieve the parameter and recall the dynamic page with the parameter that was received. The problem that I have is that the portlet receive the parameter but when I pass the parameter to the dynamic page it doesn't get it. This is the way the I am calling the dynamic page inside my portlet into the show procedure:

we have three operating units, sometimes a sales agreement is released from the three operating units, is there a way i can use the same sales agreemnet with the three operating units?
We had the same issue recently.
Users wanted same locator in the same org under different subinventories.
We suggested 2 solutions
1) Make the 1st locator segment=subinventory name (e.g. East.A.3.10, West.A.3.10)
2) Add a character to the first locator (e.g. EA.3.10, WA.3.10)
They picked up the 2nd option.

How to rewrite it with JAVA?If you are trying to do it in a way that is compatible with C++, then you'll need to write the bytes to the socket. You can do this by wrapping the socket's output stream with a DataOutputStream, then writing each value in order.
Remember that a C++ struct is just a convention of accessing a linear array of bytes, so the above is equivalent.
If you are just trying to send an Object's data over a socket (to another Java app), then you can wrap the socket's output stream with an ObjectOutputStream, then just write the object to it.

How to keep the WBS & Order in account assignment tab of SD contract item?
Hi Experts,
If I remove the plant from the shipping tab in the contract item (the contract type is WV), I will be able to enter the WBS or Order in accounting assignment tab. However, if I enter the plant (in order to determine the tax in pricing), the WBS and Order are disappered and there is one new settlement rule button showed up.
Do you know any configuration could keep the WBS and order in the accounting assigment tab even the plant is there.

Thanks for your answer. However, I even added the plant in the WBS, the tax (we use tax jurisdiction) still could not be determined.
The problem is that SAP changes the account assignment tab screen (it suppresses the WBS and Order fields, but addes settlement rule) with the plant in the shipping tab. Do you know how to keep the same account assignment tab screen with the plant in the shipping tab?

NS_BINDING_ABORTED error - Resubmits the same URL twice
I have a website that has multiple tabs after successful log in. Each Tab is mapped to different URL. when I change from one Tab to other, at random, for one of the Tab URL, the NS_BINDING_ABORTED errors comes for first GET submission and behind the scenes, wihtout any further user interruption, the fire fox browser submits the same URL mapped to the tab second time. But we are not allowed to submit the same URL twice at any time. Because each time for the URL GET request, a unique GUID is appended. If the borwser re-submits the same URL with same GUID, the application throws an error message, hence user can not see the next tab on which he/she clicked.
Interesting this is that the same website works fine in any IE browser. Why this is happening only for fire fox browser?Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine.
