I Am using safari 3 Beta On windows Xp ..Every time i open Safari the Window Resizes Itself... How Can i get Safari To remember The Size And Window Location That i Want...if i maximize Safari I cant get My taskbar To Pop up..i Have my taskbar Set As auto Hide..So basicly Everytime i open safari i have to resize it to the way i want it..But when i use firefox or ie7 they remember the size and location of the Browser When i Close It So When i Open My browser Its Always the same Size And In The Same location...Does clearing your browsing history Screw Up The Window Size???Also i read Safari For Windows Has Security Flaws, Will Apple Fix This??Or Should We just look At Safari As A Way for Apple to Get People To Buy A mac??If So Im Sorry I Wasted my Time

BTW: how do you auto-hide the statusbar? Can't see it under Edit|Preferences... I looked at Customize Toolbar, but that crashes the app; and as a side-note, is your statusbar small dark and hard to view? Mine is to the point that it is all but impossible to read

How to fix TextEdit window size & location upon open it?

I'm wondering if I can fix TextEdit's window size and its location upon opening a file?
I prefer opening my TextEdit at certain size (LxW) and would like it to stay align either on right or left of the screen edge.
Can I do that? Please help.

I don't know that you can do that. I've not found a way for newly created documents.
Note if you disable System Preferences->General->Close windows when quitting an app, then upon restart of TextEdit, all windows will be exactly where you left them.

Export Layers to Files: How to keep canvas size

Hello
I need to export hundreds of layers to PNG-Files.
Unfortunately the Script crops to the layer's boundary so every file has different dimensions. How to keep the canvas size of the PSD in the exported files?

How to configure window sizes?

I have a new Macbook Pro and when I open new windows, especially documents or downloads, the windows are less than half screen. Can I somehow set this up, so that any window I open will always be Full screen, or do I have to manually increase the window size to full screen myself?

How about clicking the green button in the upper left. It should remember that default setting.
I also use RightZoom.app for better functionality across the board.

How to remember window sizes?

How do I get window sizes to be maintained at the size that I had them when last opened? I.E. I open a window, arrange icons as I want them and set the window size as I want it. Next time I open that folder, everything is remembered except for the window size. Thanks...

It won't if it's a Finder window. Mine doesn't either. Repairing probably won't help. If you open a new Finder window with a Command-N shortcut, then it will remember the size. For some reason it won't work from the dock. Not sure why.

How to keep windows unhidden on same Space?

I use four Spaces on my Macbook. Sometimes when I'm closing a program, it's confirmation or some other modal window will create in a different Space and hide behind all windows there. For example, I close Adobe Premiere in Space 1 but it prompts to save the project. All I see is that Premiere doesn't want to close. I click Premiere and get the bump system sound. Nothing. I have to force quit.
Now I've learned that those little confirmation windows are appearing in other Spaces. For the above example, the confirm save window is in Space 4 under all the windows there. This doesn't just happen with Premiere. Lots of other programs will do this. It doesn't happen all the time but often enough.
Is there a way to "Keep windows grouped" or something that will prevent them from slipping off into another desktop instance?

this shouldn't happen but the responsibility for that lies with particular applications in question. there is no general system setting you can adjust. complain to program developers. some apps have poor spaces integration.
the only option you can choose on the system level is to assign an app to all spaces. but I don't know if you want to do that.

AFAIK, you can't. When you change focus the app assumes you want to use it.

Adding Bates numbers to PDFs increases file size by 10x - How to keep original size?

I have a lot of email texts that I converted from Word to PDF and then Bates numbered.
However, Bates numbering made each email's file size go from about 50kb to 500kb.
Once I combine these larger files for uploading to a docket, at the maximum allowable file size is 4 Mb, I can put together only 8-10 emails at a time. What to do to keep the original file size small when Bates numbering?

Yes, there is a significant increase in the file size when one applies bates numbering to the pdf and saves it.
A workaround for this issue would be to save the pdf file again as reduced size pdf. (File -> Save as other -> Reduced Size PDF. )

hi Raju,
You can do onething. Create a variable in global defination of charcter lenth 1.
when you are selecting your address on the basis of address number. suppose we have two address add1 and add2.
if you get add1 set this variable 'X'.
otherwise set it 'Y'.
Now create two text node.
in one text node put your add1 and in other one put add2. in text node yyou will get tab conditions.
Put the condition varible = 'X' for add1.
and 'Y' for add2.
so it will execute one the basis of that condition and print the one of the addresses u have.
