How to kill nokia start-up tune on C5?

Does anyone know how to kill the start-up soundtune on the C5?
I can't seem to find this option, like i could on my 6300.
I would like to start my C5 with no sound after shutdown.

silent mode or turn of warning tones is the only possible ways to do so ,i see a post above to turn of start up ,there is no such option .
If i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an option to turn the start of tone off on the N80.
The only way I have found to stop this is by putting your phone on "Silent" that way when your phone is turned on it will not make the tone.

I can't sign in to iCloud on my Mac due to an alert stating that my email address has not been verified.
If you can't sign in due to the alert “Account not verified - Check your email for instructions for verifying your account”:
Close and reopen iCloud preferences before attempting to sign in to iCloud again.
If that does not resolve the issue, check your email folder and Junk folder for a verification email sent from Apple.
If there is no verification email in your email folder or Junk folder, click the Resend Verification Email button in iCloud preferences.

How to stop and start process SAPOSCOL

Hi, i have a problem with write access for saposcol program. I see that the file saposcol is read the file but its unable to wirte the same.

I also try the same from root user but now use..
Please guide me how to stop and start the SAPOSCOL in AIX 5.3.

How to kill EPMA Deployment

Hi,
I have EPMA 11.1.1.3 and after making some changes in account and location dimensions i started deploying the app.It was initialed at around 6pm..i informed by client that it usaully takes aroung 6 and half hours to complete the deployment but after 8 hours i checked the Job its still it was going on and it might have hung up at 6%..Main thing all the changes have been reflectd in Hyperion Planning...So my question is how to kill this job running on?

it usaully takes aroung 6 and half hours to complete the deployment but after 8 hours ^^^Really? That's amazing. I suspect you are forcing a dense restructure this time so that might be part of the issue. Has the Essbase restructure happened yet?
I would be unbelievably suspicious/completely unaccepting of any metadata build that took 6 hours. There has to be a better way.

How to kill a Thread?

My question is simple how to kill a thread.
The background is a call to a method in a third party API, crawler4j, that locks the entire program.
The design of crawler4j is "You should stop it when you think it's enough (ctrl+c)" but as I use it only as a step in a larger program I want to stop it programmatically and not by "ctrl+c" as they have designed the API.
This is the locking callcontroller.start(MyCrawler.class, numberOfCrawlers);So I made a thread public class MyCrawlController extends Thread {

Even better if they can be taken by the GC.

Assuming you use the iTunes default settings where iTunes copied added items to your iTunes folder and organizes your library (meaning - everything is all self contained in the iTunes folder), then all you have to do is drag & drop your iTunes folder (not just the iTunes Music folder you find inside the iTunes folder) to the external drive and copy the entire thing.
If you want to test that it worked or would like to actually start using it from that location instead, use these instructions when you start iTunes to point it to the new location...

Constant Nokia start logo on Nokia Lumia 925

Hello there.. I got my Nokia Lumia 925 about a month ago.. Now there is already a problem i cant find an answer to? may its my bad research..
-My problem is that The Nokia start logo is there, and it wont go away.. i have had my phone laying for about 3-4 hours and its still there...
i dont know how it happend it was just there..
If anyone out there knows a answer it would be very nice

Try a Soft Reset : Press Power + Volume(down) keys until the phone vibrates (about 8-10 seconds). Phone will reboot.

Start-up Tune

Hi, I just bought a MacBook, and I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the start-up tune because I don't want to pull my laptop out in class and have it burst out the Mac song. I thought maybe plugging in earphones would confine it to the them, but it didn't. Luckily I tried this outside of class. Help, please.

Another great advantage of Macs is that you don't have to switch off after use. Just close your Mac. It will go to sleep and it'll pop to life when you open up. No need for startups with startup noises and you'r up and running a minute faster (all very unlike windoze, I know.) (and of coure the F3 button works as well...) Enjoy it!

cannot start I-tunes since Update 7.5. Informtion is, currant files are missing, i-tunes doesn´t start.
Try to reinstal everything, and install i-Tunes with an old version from cd.
Then information will be, cannot start becaus some parts from an newer Version.,
so iám started updat to the new Version 7.5 and also i-tunes cannot started, because some current files are missing.
Can anybody help me, i don´t now what to do now. I hade my new I-pod, because i have only problems, please help me to love it again.

ok I am no expert on PC's or itunes but I have had the same problems as a lot of you on here. Have a look at what the solutions are. You need to remove the itunes 7.5 program and the quicktime program as it is causing the problem. Uninstall may or may not work, manually deleting the programs will work but your regisry will still indicate it is installed. My advice is to install
Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
I am not sure how to make an active link to it so have a look through this forum, install it, run it, remove all traces of itunes and QT then install from the downloads section version 7.4.3 which was ok. Then dont update, not yet, let them get sorted first. I hope this helps, it did me after about 4 hours and the info was right there all the time.

I have 2 dsos ( A, B). Data loads from A to B.
Now I have deleted data from DSO B by using option delete data ( did killed one running request by turing the status to RED).
when I try to load data again to DSO B, it is not allowing me to execute the DTP.
Message is Request 257.617 is stil processing.
I am SAP BI 7.0 environment.
Please suggest how to kill active request ( I am not seeing it RSMO/SM37).
I tried to use Zombie Request FM, it didnt worked.

I can see the request , the exception it is showing is CX_RS_FAILED logged.
SM51, when try to kill the process it says

Apologies for earlier post messages saying that I did nt saw the message in RSMO, I can see it is in yellow process.

I want to have openbox in the job list of a bash. as if my xinitrc was "exec xterm" and I manualy enter the "openbox &" commande in the xterm window. I suppose this is a common wish : telling bash to read from file then from keyboard, but that not exactly what bashrc do.

ps have PGID equal to the bash TPGID, so it is foreground. openbox from PROMPT_COMMAND have his own PGID, so it is background. openbox from bashrc share PGID wish bash ... so if bash do not consume Ctrl-c signal openbox receive it ? I assume it is some things like this, but why ? INVOCATION and JOB CONTROL sections in bash manpage do not seems describe this, so that's a strange behaviour.

or goto SM50 Click on the process and select process->stop without core
or
set a running infopack of the chain (in RSMO) to red, thats will stop the chain (if there are no parallels, else set all parallels to red).
