How to know Last Sales Price?

Hi all,
My requirement is, at the time raising SO, I want to know the last sale price of the item for the customer to whom I'm raising SO.
Is it possible in SAP B1?

Dear Mr. Sridharan,
As per your advise, I tried but I didn't get any details of my last sales price. In the help file, it says that if we upgrade the package to 2007 then we can see the last price details. Is it so? If not, please advise if any other settings to be done to get the last price.

In Oracle, we don't access schemas but schema objects.And this informationis not kept anywhere persistantly.As Amit also mentioned,if you do need it,you have to enable Auditing.

How to calculate current sale price like VA01

Hi,
I am developing one report, in which I am showing open sales order.
Now, I wanted to calculate the current sales price from pricing procedures and conditions. Means I need the current sales price of the Item, like I am creating the new sales order today,
Client wanted the difference between the sales order price and the current price.
How can I get the current sales price, any Function Module for that?? Or I have to manually take all prices from condition tables and KONP, and calculate?
I need a Function Module instead to code like..........
Standard SAP pricing is try to get the price from top to down pricing hierarchy, if 1st level not find, then base on the combination of next level, try to get it,
if no found, just keep going until reach the last pricing Level ( if found on any level then it will skip & pick up that price )
For example
ZPR0 has 3 Level
Sales Org/DC/Currency/Customer/Material/Stor.Location
Sales Org/DC/Currency/Customer/Material
Sales Org/DC/Currency/Material
If the combination of 1st level no price there, there it will go to the 2nd level until it reach the end.

The Procedure for calculating MAP is :-
Case 1 :- PO at different price
If in Material Master your MAP is 0.8GBP & closing stock of 30Nos, value is 24GBP
In PO if the price is 0.9GBP & qty is 10nos, then after Goods Receipt Total Value of the GR i.e. Qty * Price + any other delivery cost will be added to the material stock value. Qty is also updated. New Total Value / New Stock Qty will be MAP.
In this case Qty received 10 & price is 0.9 that means value would be 9GBP.
Total Value becomes 24GBP (Present Stock) + 9GBP (Goods Receipt) = 33GBP
Total Qty becomes 30Nos + 10Nos (Goods Receipt) = 40Nos
MAP becomes = 33GBP / 44Nos = 0.75
Case 2 : Invoice Posting (MIRO) at different price than PO
While doing MIRO is we post at different price system will check whether sufficient stock posted in GR is available. In the above case it is 10Nos,
If it is there, then the above logic as in case 1 will take place
If not available, to the extent of stock availability system will post the different value & adjust MAP & remaining is posted to Price Difference Account.
In your case it would be like this :
1. MAP 0.8 for 30Nos (Value would be 24GBP)
2. Invoice Posting 1.74GBP for 1No. That means value would be 24GBP + 1.74GBP = 25.74GBP
Qty would be 30+1 = 40
MAP = 25.74 / 40 = 0.64GBP

VA01 and from material view and last SO it shows wrong last sales price

Hi,
In sales order condtions the current flow is as follows:
sales price PR00 - 8.36
insurance ZZC0 - 0.03
So the total value is 8.39 inr.
But the client requirement is, the total value should be 8.36 only. Insurance value should not add to the net price, but it should display in sales order condtions.
we can do the pricing as statistical in pricing procedure for insurance. But client is not accepting for that.
please letme know is there any other alternative way to get the required solution.

When you use the query as a formatted search with auto refresh the query will Populate the Value of the first column from the first row of the query result. Therefore the user will not see the last 2 prices for which the SELECT statement was created.
To see the last 2 prices the user has to manually press ShiftF2 which is the same effort as CTRLTab.
Writing a simple SQL is easy but it is important to educate the client with the benefits of using out of the box functionality when one already exists

How SBO handles a Sale Price for a customer?

Hi,
I know that SBO has list prices, special prices per customer, volume discount prices, season temporary discounts, etc. How these are handled?, I know that first SBO looks for a item special price for the customer, but after that is not clear to me what SBO does, Does SBO Looks for a volume discount or a Item Group Discount?, What are the priorities?
Does anyone knows where I can find a work flow diagram or a step by step guide that shows the way the sale prices are handled in SBO?

Automatic Price Calculation
When you enter a business transaction, such as an outgoing invoice or a purchase order, the system calculates the price for an item automatically. The system proceeds as follows here:
The system first checks whether a special price has been defined for the item for this particular business partner. This special price could also be based on a particular date or quantity.
If no special price has been defined, the system checks whether a discount group has been defined for the business partner that can be applied to the item.
If no special price has been defined, the system checks whether a special price has been defined for the item (for the price list entered in the master record of the business partner), which once again can be based on a particular date or quantity.
If no special price has been defined, the system copies the price for the item from the price list entered in the master record of the business partner.
If a discount has been granted because of a special price, the discount is indicated in the detailed information of a line in the purchasing or sales document in the Discount % field.

How to know when the PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT changed and get the value

Everything I do to see if a value changed in the grid works except for PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT
which seems to be inaccessible.
Any idea how to know when exactly this value changed and do actions accordinly ?
Also I always get 0.00 if I try to get the value of it
This works to get in the condition of a vlaue changing but I always get 0.00 as the value of the column

just idea, maybe it will works
Create one udf in row level and set there FS based on changes on price after discount and fill value what is in price after discount. Then the validation make on this field instead of standard SAP field.

How to obtain last purchased price of an item

How can i obtain the last purchased price of an item? There seems to be an 'LastPurPrc' field in the OITM table, but this does not seem to be exposed in the DI api. The last purchased pricelist is an 'internal' pricelist so cannot be used in the pricelists selection. Is there another way then just retrieving the value with a direct database Sql query?

There is, but is long :-D.
You could check the purchase invoices by key in descendant order and check if the lines had the item, then check the price in the line to get the purchase price.

Last sales price in new sales order document

Hi every one,
One of my client requirement is important to be able to show the last purchase price (from customer point of view is PO our side is last sales Order) of each item for same customer in sales order, for ex: customer brought 2 Items in SO#1 item1 Price $100, Item 2 Price is $200 and SO#5 item1 $110, item2 $220 when we create the Sales Order for same customer in his next order if his buying same items I want to show the last Sales order price That is SO#5, I hope for this need to be create a UDF and formatted search I did this two but problem is need a query to bring the last Sales order Price.......
if any one have any idea about this issue please...........

How to know the sales order closed using right click menu -Close ???

I have an sales order with ten item, I have copied the same to delivery and before adding the Delivery I have deleted some items. After adding the Delivery, I manually closed the sales order by using the "right click menu close".
The Open Quantity of those lines are already closed while i Close it manually.
Now i need a report regarding the sales orders which i have closed manually. Any Options??

See the last line data...it have open quantity of 5 and it also have the target type 15, If I close the sales order with docentry 4 manually using right click, the open quantity will be Zero..

You need to write your own triggers to capoture the DDL and also insert those DDL into your tables. This way you may able to track down users activities including DDL.

You can also check the history of a particular user. By instance, if it use bash, check this file :
~/.bash_historyand check his :
~/bash_loginand :
~/.bashrcbecause he has perhaps some special feature, like to set his history in an other file by instance.
