How to know which interfaces are going to which switch?

How to know which interfaces are going to which switch ?
I know that cdp will show this information. But CDP will not show info about the devices connected to my device and whose link between is administratively down.
Regards,
Chandu

I don't want to the end devices location.
For example, i have a switch that connect to multiple switches few using etherchannels and few using stand-along ports.
So assume that one of the link whether it may be entire port-channel or a stand alone link that connects to another switch has been shut down manually by some x person...
Then how can i know that which interfaces are connecting to that switch. In this case i think CDP will not  help because it will hold the information of ports that are up.

Chandu

  • How to know what reports are running by looking at SSReproting Services to see what reports are running and also any clue of which application is using the reporting services?

How to know what reports are running by looking at SSReproting Services to see what reports are running and also any clue of which application is using the reporting services?

To see what reports are running, take a look at the execution log views that are available in the database.  Which views that are available are dependent on your version of SSRS.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159110.aspx
To see which application is using SSRS is a little more difficult.  You can turn HTTP logging on, which will give you an idea of where connections are coming from, so you can see IP addresses.  You can also look at the execution log view to see
user accounts.  So, depending on your environment and use of service accounts, this could be easy, or difficult.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb630443.aspx
If all else fails you can look for clues in the SSRS logs.  Good luck...

  • How to decide which access sequence goes for which partner function ?

how to decide which access sequence goes for which partner function ?

    Hi Padmaja,
If i understand your question correctly, below is my answer.
Lets take a example : In your requirement ..while creating Sales / service order (for ex if you are creating from preceding document)
you have to pick up the Contact person from preceding document & Employee responsible from responsible organization
For this in partner function assign Access sequence as below.
same way if the partner(here ex: Ship to party) has to be picked up from "Current partner" change the access sequence to "Current partner Sold to party"
Hope this gives better understanding, still for better understanding check the below links

    Hi Sneha,
You can do this in multiple ways:
    1. T code: /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN - Administration of Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning
Right click the planning area and choose "details". You can find all the corresponding details
    2.Go to T code: /sapapo/sdp94
right click on the planning book "info about planning book", you would get the details

  • Determining which services are associated with which programs

In the Services Preferences, Services submenu, how does one determine which services are associated with which programs?

Danged if I know! I just took a guess and enabled the ones I wanted, then tried what came up to see which program launched to do it. Some are easy: "Copy to Tex-Edit Plus" will obviously use the program Tex-Edit Plus. But I have no idea which program owns "New Document Containing Selection" and since I want TextEdit to handle that sort of thing I unchecked it, and simply checked "New TextEdit Window Containing Selection" because that's obviously TextEdit. I left "New Window with Selection" checked, and then tried it, and TextWrangler launched. OK, I do sometimes use it, so I left it checked. But it would be nice if it declared itself in the Service list so you could tell what program is going to do which thing. However, that is not Apple's fault--it is the fault of the application, someone just didn't bother to write a proper line for the system to display that would tell the user what application it is. That is probably because in the "old" Services menu items were arranged in folders by application, so there was no special need to have the service itself declare to whom it belonged. Perhaps this situation will change as applications are updated for Snow Leopard.
I happen to know that the Services are declared to the system by the application, and the place this comes from is the Info.plist of the application, which is inside the application bundle. You can open this and check the plist: the service will be listed in the NSServices section in the NSMenuItem default field. Not something most people would ever want to do, you have to open the bundle then open the plist with Property List Editor.
Meantime, I think trial and error is the only way to tell where the service is coming from. I would be delighted if someone knows otherwise.

You want to install Mountain Lion. You already have Mountain Lion installed. You want the latest version of Mountain Lion, which is 10.8.3. You've said you already have 10.8.3 installed. Apple checks your computer when you try to update and tells there are no updates at this time. That's because you're already fully up to date so there's nothing left to update.
What more do you want or need?

  • How do you determine which apps are paid and which are free

I am trying to perform some cleaning of my iPhone and want to delete some apps.  I know which ones to delete, and which ones to save, but never want to delete an app that I have paid for.
How can I tell, either on the phone itself, or within iTunes, which apps were paid for, and which were free?  They all show a purchased date in "get info" within iTunes, even apps that were free. I know some apps that I certainly paid .99 for, and some that I have paid much more than that.  I would never want to delete those.  How can I tell the difference?

Ok, keep in mind, this is iTunes app store, not Desktop App Store, just so we are on the same page.  I have a purchase history that looks like this:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/340087/drops/01.02.12/this-f0-154400.png
If I go to the app Store, locate the exact app in question, this is what I get:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/340087/drops/01.02.12/ss-2012.01.02-3.45.23.PM-57-154549 .png
Compare that to an app I did made a purchase to, Geocacging, and it is different. As you can see, it tells me that I can download it again, for free, and this is in no way a free app, quite expensive compared to most 99 cent apps:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/340087/drops/01.02.12/ss-2012.01.02-3.46.56.PM-c4-154716 .png
I am logged into lCloud as far as I know. Here is a screen shot from system prefs:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/340087/drops/01.02.12/ss-2012.01.02-3.49.06.PM-7d-154932 .png
It says "sign out" which tells me I am logged in.
I don't have an app within the apps section of itunes of the apps section of my phone when connectted by wireless of by usb cable.
So unles I am completely mising your instructions, I believe this to be on Apple's end, and they are not recognixing that I have already downloaded this app and paid for it.  I am about to just download and pay for it again, it is only 3.99, so not a big deal, however, if this was a 100.00 GPA app or smilar, I would be a little upset.
    Thanks for all your help.

    I look in /usr/... but I'm a bit lost.

At the command line type :
    pkginfo
This will give a list of all packages
You can send this list to a file:
    pkginfo > filename
You can then view the file with text editor or at the command line one screen at a time:
    cat filename | more

  • Which interface are gig on the 5510

I have 2 asa 5510 that I upgraded to security plus license. Im suppose to have 3 10/100 and 2 10/100/1000 interfaces. which one are the gig interfaces. not of the ethernet or management can be set faster then 100Mbps

    Please find the reference below:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/release/notes/asarn723.html#wp272663
"ASA 5510 Security Plus License Allows Gigabit Ethernet for Port 0 and 1
The ASA 5510 adaptive security appliance now has the security plus license to enable GE (Gigabit Ethernet) for port 0 and 1. If you upgrade the license from base to security plus, the capacity of the external port Ethernet0/0 and Ethernet0/1 increases from the original FE (Fast Ethernet) (100 Mbps) to GE (1000 Mbps). The interface names will remain Ethernet 0/0 and Ethernet 0/1. Use the speed command to change the speed on the interface and use the show interface command to see what speed is currently configured for each interface"

  • How to know if others are using my Apple ID?

How to know that one Apple ID is being used for other devices?

Go to iTunes on a computer and sign in. Click on your name, then on Account Info. Under "iTunes in the Cloud" you will see how many devices are associated with this Apple ID, and you can click on Manage to see what devices have been associated with the Apple ID. This does not mean that the Apple ID is signed onto those devices. It just means that it was signed onto those devices at some point and was used to re-download past purchases, or to do Automatic Downloads.
