    Hello Santhosh1, In order for you to make your PC into a hotspot you will need a 3rd party program, i would recommend Virtual Router because it is open-source and free! here is a link to some instructions to set it up. http://www.howtogeek.com/214080/how-to-turn-your-windows-pc-into-a-wi-fi-hotspot/  hope this helps!  Cheers, Montbot.

  • How to clear wifi hotspot history?

    [Nokia 5800]
    Hi,
    I recently used a wifi hotspot whilst on holiday, which was unsecured, but once you started to web browse you where prompted for a username/password, which i had.
    Since coming back, i now have a problem where sometimes when i try to use wifi, my 5800 will try to use this wifi even though i am no where near to it. Is there any way to remove the wifi history/cache to prevent this from happening? Some apps default to this and i cant use them, like bbc iplayer for eaxample.
    thanks
    ash

  • How to know the record status

    dear all
    i am new in adf. i have an entity object named Employee and an updatable view object named Employeevo.
    i created a simple .jspx page to display the employee in af:form.
    the page bindings contains CreateInsert operation. user can insert new record or update a record or delete it. mh question is:
    how can i detect the record status? in other eords how can i know whether the record is in insert mode or update mode. in oracle forms ,there is a system variable ":SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS"that can return NEW-CHANGED-QUERY.what is the equilivant for this in ADF.
    thanks in advance

    Hi.
    you can override the dodml in the EntityImpl to test what DML operation is being performed.
    @Override
    protected void doDML(int operation, TransactionEvent transactionEvent) {
            if (operation == DML_INSERT) {
                //an Insert
            } else if (operation == DML_UPDATE) {
                //an Update
            } else if (operation == DML_DELETE) {
                //a Delete

  • How does the wifi hotspot work on the iphone 5s with IOS 8 just installed?

    I donwloaded IOS 8 just a few minutes ago. I don't know how to enable the personal hotspot on my phone.

    Hey, I had this same issue (iPhone 5 tho). I used to have the enable hotspot on my main menu but Apple decided to turn it off and bury it before I could use it again.
    Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network
    Scroll down to the bottom. There should be a section that says "Personal Hotspot". Make sure that section has information in it (mine was blank). Copy and paste the APN from "Cellular Data" (the top section) into the "Personal Hotspot", then go back. See if that turns on an option that says "set up personal hotspot", then tap it to start customizing names and password settings.
    Hope this helps! What a frustrating thing...

  • How to know the record status changing from NEW to INSERT while keying-in a field

    Thanks to Kevin Clarke & Steven Declercq for helping me out with my previous queries.
    Can any one out there tell me how to intercept when the reocrd status is changing from NEW to INSERT (while a field is being keyed-in in a blank(new) record).
    Thanks
    Brijesh

    Hi Kevin,
    Thanks.
    Unfortunately, I could'nt find a trigger named 'ON-DATABASE-RECORD'.
    Are you sure it exists?

  • How can i use "phone relay" on a iPad mini over iPhone created wifi hotspot?

    How can i use "phone relay" on a iPad mini over iPhone created wifi hotspot?
    It works nicely over home wifi, but for example, i am sitting in my car, phone is in my pocket and I'm using the iPad, call comes in and i don't want to start digging for my phone.
    Is there any way?
    devices:
    iPad mini cellular (no SIM card at the moment)
    iPhone 5S
    Thanks!

    well yes, but it basically makes wifi for the other devices, it basically mimics wifi.
    as i get from your answer, it is not possible?
    it would be common sense to make it work this way also. directly from device to device. no bounce between WiFi router
    Then again, common sense is not that common these days...

  • How to set up wifi hotspot connectivity

    I have an old laptop that was upgraded from XP to Vista Business. It runs OK but is very slow. I have Fios wireless at home and it connects fine, but the In-house Agent won't run properly (blank pages for the Internet & Phone sections...Chat tech was unhelpful). My question is: how can I set up the hotspot connectivity without having to use the worse-than-useless In-house agent?

    the link I gave is for a windows machine
    Droid has it's own app, and boingo is what Verizon uses - so you can safely download boingo and then when it asks for your login, you put your VZ log in info.
    you DO have to create a seperate WIFI log in though,  So you should go to www.verizon.net/
    Hover over my verizon and then select VIEW all from the my services menu  > then select internet on the left hand side menu > then select manage under the verizon wifi section.
    Manage gives you two options
    Find Wifi Hotspots
    WiFI how to demos
    Select Wifi how to demos and then click and follow the registration link
    when you get there, it wants you to sign in, you sign in with your main account, and then you go through the Wi-fi registration steps to make a Verizon WIFI username
    these are going to be seperate usernames, one used for your account and online access, you already have this one
    and the next is one specifically for wifi hotspot access, you are creating this one (if you haven't already done so)

    The first time i turn on my personal hotspot, i chosen usb only, how can i re-enable wifi hotspot?

    Yeah, I just noticed it   So does this mean I can't wake my S10 thru LAN right?  Anyway, do you have any suggestions?  I'm looking for a Docking Station, but I can't find any.   Can a USB replicator turn this on?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

  • How to know the status of concurrent program from back-end in oracle apps

    Hi,
    Can you please explain me step by step how to know the status of the concurrent program from back end in oracle apps.
    Thanks,
    Raj

    When a record is being updated by a form, if you create a Pre-Update trigger on the block, the trigger will run for each record being updated.
    Same thing happens with a Pre-Insert and Pre-Delete trigger.

  • How can I know the uploading status of a Photobook?

    I have some problems uploading an order. I' d like to know the uploading status and the remaining time. How can i do that?
    Thanks

    Cesare,
    if you are concerned about your network connection, perhaps you may want to run the Network Utility (in Applications -> Utilities) for a while.
    The first tab (Info) will give you an overview on the transfer statistics (send errors, collision etc.) and the second tab (Netstat) will give you a comprehensive network statistic, when you press the "Netstat" button.
