How to launch BRFPLUS workbench in SAP ECC6.0?

        Iam trying to access Transaction code BRFPLUS in SAP ECC6.0.
        But its showing the message that " Transaction BRFPLUS does not exist".
         If any body knows how to resolve this issue please help me.

Hi folks,
I am working with ECC 617, Netweaver 740 and EHP 2. When I run BRF+, browser shows me a kind of "old screen", very different to the screens of BRF+ I've worked before. Previous screens in other projects were in a more modern appearance.
How can I fix this to have the current (new) visual? How can I demand basis guys about that? Or it is a functional stuff?

Hi ,
To create OM infotype:
1. Go to SE11 and create a structure HRI9XXX (9XXX --> name of the infotype). Add the required fields to this structure and save and activate. then come out of it.
2. Go to PPCI and enter Infotype number (9XXX) and description.
3. Click create.
4. In the infotype category select details for the infotype.
5. Click create button. It should create the infotype.
6. Click on Check. A window with menu will open.
7. In that window navigate to Table Entries.
8. Under table Entries, select T777I and click on change.
9. It opens SM30. Click on Maintain.
10. Select the infotype and add information for "Time Constraint" and "Infotype Per Object Type".
11. Save.
12. Go back to check menu, see if all entries exist. Do not worry last 5 table entries. And you are done

Hi,
Open any transaction in your ECC box, click on menu System -> Status. It will pop up a window, In the SAP data row, there is one column SAP System data, you will see a magnifier glass icon, click on that and it will pop up a window with all the details of the software components loaded in your ECC box.

The system cannot capture the customizing data from your ECC6. This is another myth with SAP Solution Manager. Solution Manager can only smoothen the process of your Project Management.

Maintain Authorization Field in SAP ECC6.0

Hello all,
Our SAP system has upgraded from SAP 4.7 to ECC6.0 recently. After upgrade, I find that the function Maintain
Authorization Field - SU20 cannot be launched.
When I run the T-code SU20, the maintain authorization fields screen does not appear and a message "Start of Application: Maintain Authorization Fields" flash one time in the message bar (bottom left corner at the SAP screen).
Can I ask how to maintain Authorization Field in SAP ECC6.0?

Publishing a WebService in SAP ECC6.0

Hello Everyone,
I published a WebService in SAP ECC6.0 using a Remote enabled function module which has one input field and one output field. After publishing that in WSADMIN transaction when i give the URL in the browser the XML format has the Root node as function module name,internal table name as child node and the 2 fields of the function module as child node to internal table name. The issue is PeopleSoft team are not able to ping the 2 fields as they are in the 3rd level in XML file.
Could you please let me know if there any solution to have those 2 fields under the Function Module name so that they can directly ping the root node to interact with the fields.Thanks in advance.

1. You have to Configure the Email connections through SCOT tcode.
2. After that you ccan send/recive a mails from exchange server and SAP R/3 systems.

Hi Raju,
Goto SE11 in ECC 6.0 & select radio button VIEW. Enter the view name & click on CREATE. Check the attributes in 4.7 & enter the same details in ecc.
Then copy paste the fields from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 & activate.
Repeat the above steps for all the tabs.

Migrating to Oracle from SAP ECC6.0

We are planning to "ditch" our SAP ECC 6.0 to a third party vendor who is using an Oracle Database system. I have been challenged with information gathering about how we will move our data out of SAP and into the oracle database. If I am in the wrong discussion please point me in the right direction.
I was under the impression that Oracle might have a "tool" for this purpose.

If I understand it correclty then SAP ECC6.0 is only an application. What is the underlying database that holds the actual data ?
There is a migration workbench feature in SQL*Developer but it depends on the actual database holding the data.

1. Situation
OS: windows 2000 pro English
Java version: jdk 1.5.x was already installed. (Its not permitted to change.)
I dont have any authorization to install any software on the PC.
But I need to use an Integration Builder.
I already knew URLs of an Integration Builder (http://<hostname>:50000/rep/start/repository.jnlp).
2. How To Do
At this moment, an Integration Builder (XI 3.0) can be launch under jre 1.4.x environment (on windows).
2.1 jre preparation
I download j2re-1_4_2_10-windows-i586-p.exe from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
I installed it on my home PC and copied all files from C:\Program Files\Java\ j2re1.4.2_10\ into my USB.
2.2 Put them into the system
I pasted j2re1.4.2_10 folder from my USB into the windows 2000 pro system.
Finally, I could list up all of javaws.exe under this system.
c:\j2re1.4.2_10\javaws\javaws.exe
c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_05\bin\javaws.exe
c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_05\jre\bin\javaws.exe

2.3 Execute a Java Web Start under jre 1.4.x version
I executed c:\j2re1.4.2_10\javaws\javaws.exe .
2.4 Change Java Runtime Versions
Go to File-> Preferences -> Java
As you can see, it indicates 1.5 version.
Click [FIND] button.
Click [NEXT] button.
Click the j2re1.4.2_10 folder.
Click [NEXT] button.
A JRE Finder is able to find javaw.exe automatically. Or you can indicate C:\j2re1.4.2_10\bin\javaw.exe directly.
Click [NEXT] button.
Finally, there are two Java Runtime Versions. Now you need to uncheck the Enabled column of 1.5 version and check 1.4 version.
Click [OK] button.
Well, in the General tab, I selected None for Proxies.
2.5 Launch an Integration Builder
In the Location field, I typed the URL of an Integration Builder jnlp.
http://<hostname>:50000/rep/start/repository.jnlp
SAP Integration Builder comes up inside Applications area.
Select it and click [Start] button.
If you click Environment-> Integration Builder (Configuration), you can launch Integration Builder: Configuration.

I am not getting anywhere with deploying my application or
applet.
I have set up my bc4j project. It contains all my VO info,
links, application module. (proj a)
I then have another project with DbInfo in it(has all my rowset
info), Multiple Frames, and my Applet.java file.
Actually I have an Applet.java file and a Application.java file
because I was seeing if both/either worked. Anyway they seem the
same, except for that extra window that comes up when you run the
applet.
I follow the steps in the oracle directions (from earlier post).
And all seems ok. But at ---->
[*] Select the subdirectory under myhtml where your applet's HTML
file
is located, and enter the directory path of the 'staging'
directory you
created in step 3 above, if different from the default.</li>
[*]Select the HTML files that JDeveloper created to run your
applet.</li>
[*]Select all of the Java source files in your project that make

I have no HTML file associated with my applet, at least that I
know of.
So do I need to create one, or should it of been done
automatically.
Also, I trying to figure out what will be the best way to deploy
my project. Applet or stand alone application is what my first
choices have been so far. I have read that there is some issues
with applets being served from a different server than the
database. So a stand alone application was my front runner, but
I haven't gotten either way to work yet.

I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the SAP BPC "three globes" startup screen when we start BPC. I do not want it to pop up.
I looked at VBA behind the workbooks but could not find anything. Could not make the sheet invisible.

OK then, now v7sp03 for microsoft has hit the shelves, you can change the logo !!!
It is quite easy.
Have the logo file ready in either BMP, GIF or JPG format.
Put it in your "Server Install -> DataWebFolders[Appset]" folder (so where you keep your files).
In ApplicationSet parameters, add the parameter COMPANY_LOGO and in the options type the name of the file you just put on the server.
Now if you restart BPC for Excel, the second excel page that pops up should be showing your new logo or graphic (mine did).
The use of the logo has been documented in the admin manual -> working with appset parameters
Some tips.
I wanted not to clutter the filesystem so i put my logo in the appsetpublications folder and added the path accordingly in the parameter (so now it reads appsetpublicationslogoname.jpg instead of just logoname.jpg).
If you do not supply a name (only the parameter), your second Excel window (normally holding the graphic) will not appear. That could be an alternative too if you find that whole thing annoying.

first enter the t code - RSA1 in bw system - it is the modeling screen.
but in BW 7.0 we are not using the info source it is the optional
we are using the data source.
please fallow the below steps.
I am thinking if your are loading the data through flat file (excel form.CSV)
creating info area
creating info object catalog
creating char and key figures
creating the data source -> info package - once run the info package you will see the data in PSA
after create the DSO and CUBE
then after create the transformations -> it will map the form source to target.
run the DTP -> after running the DTP data move form PSA to CUBE.
if you don't knowledge on SAP BW take the help with your BW friends
