How to learn EJBs?

Hi, I am a new user of EJBs. I have used JSPs, and Servlets on Tomcat. I want to learn EJBs, how should I begin? What will be the best book for me on EJB Tech? And to excite my curiosity please give a small EJB program and how should I compile, deply and run it.

I am in a very strange position.
We had given training on EJB for 3 days. It was 2 months back. I have never gone thru EJB than after as had to achieve deadline of the current project which developed using JSP.
Now I want to learn EJB, and I have gone thru couple of books, but all are more theoretical.
Is there any book or online tutorial which has maximum example of EJB?
Which is the best way to learn EJB?
I have to learn EJB in 2 weeks as new project will be in EJB. I can spend daily 2 hours behind EJB.

I want to learn EJB

I know how to use servlets and jsp as well as java beans... I want to now learn EJB ... I tried reading the sun tutorial .. it seems long and difficult.... I also have the book which I will take days to read... Is there a short easy tutorial anywhere on the web where I can learn EJB in a 4-5 days ? I was just about to get a job but they didnt consider me because I didnt know EJB.. I really need to quick way to learn it.. Does anyone know any websites or anything ?

Like the others have said, learning EJBs is difficult. After going through numerous sources, I think the best free online source is the book at http://www.theserverside.com/books/masteringEJB/index.jsp. Its not short or easy, but I think it reads easier than many of other EJB tutorials. You don't have to read all of it to get a basic understanding of EJBs but you will still have to read alot.

How deploy the EJB in security on the Sun Java System Application Server 9?

I hava deploied a simple Hello EJB Object on PE 9(Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9). I can use this EJB object without user name an password On any client. See the following code section:

Hi, I don't know if it may be the cuase of your problems, but you should narrow the Object obtained doing the lookup, like this:
FirstHome home = (FirstHome) PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ctx.lookup("FirstEJB"), FirstHome.class);

How to use EJB Remote with Netbeans7.0 ?

I try to create Session Bean in Netbeans 7.0 but when I select Remote then I have to select Java Application in Netbeans. It different from Netbeans 6.8 ,6.9 which in Netbeans6.8, 6.9 not have dropdown for select Java Application when we choose Remote. So I don't know how to use EJB Remote in Netbeans7.0 then I click finish. After that, I create Project is Enterprise Application Client. but in Main.java at this line

It can't find BLSessionRemote in Session Beans. How to use EJB Remote with Netbeans7.0 ?

How to learn MM module basics and SD module

Hi all,
As abapers you all need some basic knowledge of the modules, for example I need the info of the modules MM and SD, because I generally get works from these two module and I do not know much on them...
How to learn these modules basics without having to any course?

Process Summaries
Create Sales Order
1.     Use Transaction Code VA01
2.     Identify Sales Office
3.     Enter Sold-to-party (customer) and purchase order number and date if applicable
4.     Enter material, quantity and rate
5.     Credit income to account (Internal Order or WBS element)
6.     Enter partner (University contact details)
7.     Save Sales Order
Create Billing Document
1.     Directly after saving the Sales Order, follow the path Sales document> Billing.
2.     Save the billing document
Other than as a follow-on function
1.     Use Transaction Code VF01
2.     The sales order number will default in check that it is correct
3.     Save the Billing document
Print a Billing document immediately
1.     Use transaction code VF03
2.     Enter the Billing Document number.
3.     Follow path Issue Output to > Printer
4.     Click on execute twice
5.     To preview, follow the path Issue Output to > Screen and click on execute twice to view
Document Flow
1.     Use transaction code VA03 (Sales Order/Credit Memo or VF03 (Billing document) or
2.     Follow the path Environment > Document Flow
3.     Enter the document number
4.     Click on the document overview icon

For easier access, add transactions to your favourites folders

Change Sales Order     VA02
Display Sales Order     VA03
List Sales Order     VA05

How to learn the Business Process and how it is related to BI?

Dear Experts,
How to learn the Business Process? for example the business process from finance to sales. As I am more involved in technical development of BI; I dont know or having very hard time to understand what the business process. And how the Business Process is related to BI?

If only plan data entered, try to delete the planning data before delete the object and then re-create it again. Otherwise you may have to leave it as is and change the description for the usage by the different company code.
