Welcome to the forum.
A bit of the answer will depend on how YOU like to learn, or learn best.
I am more of a book person, so the Adobe Classroom in a Book for PS, Adobe Press, is a favorite of mine.
Tutorials, like the excellent Lynda.com are a bit lower on my list, but that is very personal preference, on my part.
One of the better learning tools out there is Photoshop User magazine, which is part of the NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) membership. Each edition has several levels of learning articles from beginner to very advanced. That is the only magazine that escapes the recycle bin around here.
Adobe TV has a lot of good tutorials, and demonstrations, as does Dr. Russell Brown.
There are also quite a few books on PS, from authors like Scott Kelby and Ben Wilmore, and most concentrate on particular subjects, such as Photoshop for Photographers. Because PS is such a powerful program, and offers features specific to so many diciplines, zeroing in on what YOU want to do, saves a lot of time, and some technical info, that might not be of use to you.
Good luck,
Hunt

  • Could you tell me simply how to get to the photo shop so I can work on the pictures?

Please tell me simply how to get to the photo shop. I'm not interested in learning all about photo shop, I just want to edit my pictures.

Do you own a registered copy of Photoshop, or a trial version that is still valid, or are you looking to obtain Photoshop?  If you want to acquire Photoshop, there are a variety of flavors to choose from.  Go to the page linked below to find them and links to acquire the software.

how do I retrieve my photo shop elements 10 photos?

Photoshop Elements never stores the photos just links to them. They will be in the same location on your disk that they always were.
If you are looking for photos on photoshop.com, Adobe shut this down last year. Compatible photos will have been transferred to a Revel account for you with the same ID and password - https://www.adoberevel.com/signin. Note though that PSE10 does not integrate with Revel like it did with photoshop.com.

  • I'm using Photo Shop Elements vers. 8

I'm using Photo Shop Elements vers. 8 & wondering why my HP 7300 All-in-one printer comes up with the selection of Sending a Fax when I try to print a photo in the program?

See this tech note. It applies to PSEv,8 as well.

  • Using photo shop and muse together. mock up to final design

Hi as .you know from me asking a million questions. i just heard that photo shop can be used as a mock up for web design.  from this video i saw.  i am wondering should this be the work flow that i should be using instead of just jumping into muse like i did before in Dreamweaver.? if thats the case i am willing to change my habit.  i keep hearing that all ideas come from a sketch layout. with the new photo shop sketch tool for ipad.  i am wondering if thats going to be the core for web site ideas.  then finish it in photo shop and finalize it in muse . again design is my weak point thats why i have my degree in commercial graphics/ photography. thats why i enjoy web design. but want to keep it simple.  so would you recommend this idea?
Placing a PSD in Adobe Muse - Muse-Themes.com - YouTube

Integration between Muse and Photoshop is limited to placing PSD files into Muse as images or as rollover buttons at the moment. So if you are looking at a workflow that web designers use with Photoshop > Dreamweaver after slicing, then that is not possible in Muse right now.
Photoshop and Dreamweaver integration on the other hand has been drastically improved with introduction of the Extract service and panel in Dreamweaver. You can read more about that here: Extract a Photoshop design into code in Dreamweaver | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials

  • How to turn off using photo library in Screen Saver?

Hi, Is there anyway to turn off screen saver (and desktop) in using my photo library (Aperture)?  Currently it is using my entire photo library as screen saver and I wanted to turn it off.  Clicking on the "-" button in the Screen Saver preference pane does not remove Aperture photo library from the list.  I had OS 10.7.3 installed.  Thanks.

The Aperture, iPhoto, and Photobooth icons stay permanently.
If you don't want to show your Aperture library, just pick a different screen saver.

  • How do I download my Photo Shop Elements 10 ?

How do i download my photoshop elements 10

if you follow all 7 steps, you can download a trial via one of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies: http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-10-direct-download-links-pse-premiere-pre.htm l
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a download problem (eg, you see an error page or you are offered an incorrect version), you probably didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that (a restrictive browser setting) is another potential source of problems.

  • How to Learn to use Numbers?

    Hey everyone,
I always want to learn, and understand what I don't understand, and Numbers really stumps me. I look up functions in the help menu, but have no clue what the instructions even say! Is there any way to learn the basics of the functions aspect Numbers well (at the one-to-one i had to request someone special to teach mea bout functions and technical aspects of numbers)?
Honestly, if I am able to tackle Functions and think about it intuitively it would be like conquering the final frontier for me. Should i look into experienced people, books, videos? What do I need to do?

Start with downloading both the User Guide and Functions pdfs from under the Help menu.
Also if you look at the start up screen there is a link to some excellent Apple tutorials.
The problem with these tutorials is that there are only available in English.
It seems that Apple forgot that there are other languages used on earth.
Money from non_English users is good to take but as far as the program is paid, we no longer exist

  • Need help using photo shop with my tshirt design

    need help

You need to give more information. What OS? What version of Photoshop? Etc.
If you're using Photoshop CC, then you need to have the Reference Manual:  https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop_reference.pdf
This forum is not necessarily a beginner's training area. You can get started with Photoshop by watching tutorial videos, trying things yourself, and finding answers to specific questions in the Reference Manual (link above).
Here are some beginner's tutorials:  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/tutorials.html
You can also Google more advanced Photoshop tutorials, or go to Adobe.com and search for tutorials.
    Good luck.  :+)

  • How to Re install the photo shop CC (Whe)

When trying to add Photoshop CC as an application in Wacom menu, somehow lost it. Icon still there and still show in Finder but now get a message to reinstall.  How??

    Hi Czesia Lowman,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum.
I understand that you are unable to locate Photoshop CC as you hold photography active CC.
If that is the case then you can perform the following steps.
    1. Uninstall the photography CC by checking the preference box in Photoshop cc uninstaller & then click on uninstall.
The path to this is>> . Go--Utilities--Adobe Installers-- Photoshop cc
    2. Now launch CC desktop app & reinstall . Once installed, launch it from the applications.
You can also contact Adobe Support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6
Hope it helps you. Please mark the post as helpful or correct if the information is helpful. We value your opinion.

You need to re-stet the file association, which is done differently in Macintosh and in Windows.

All I want to do is resize a picture. It comes up, but I can't figure out how to resize. So, I really want to
get out of Photo Shop Express and go to another product unless someone can help. me.
    thanks

    Hi Ann
Sorry for the difficulties.  In case it's not too late, here are some steps for accessing our online Editor's image resize tool:
    1. If you are already a member of Photoshop.com, sign in your account.  You can access you account at either www.photoshop.com or http://www.photoshop.com/tools/organizer
    2. If you are a member, and have not already uploaded your photo to you online account, please do so. Look for the 'Upload' button at the top right of the Photoshop Express Online Organizer (http://www.photoshop.com/tools/organizer).  Select your image, and click the Edit button at the bottom of the Window.
If you are not a member, you can still access our online Editor at this URL:  http://www.photoshop.com/tools?wf=editor   Just go to this page and upload your photo to begin editing it.
    3. Once you have your image open in the Online Editor, find the 'Resize' button on the left next to our other editing tools.  Then choose the resize settings you like and click 'Save' when you're done.
