How to leave feedback for a podcast?

Can someone show me how to leave a feedback for a podcast in the Apple's own Podcasts app?

I really don't think you can.  I always go to the podcaster's web site and post feedback there.  But I don't think that the Podcast app ( I use it for some podcasts but mostly use Downcast) or any other podcast app has the ability to upload feedback to the podcaster.  Hope I am wrong, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

  • Where do I leave feedback for technical services received?

Need to know the location on the website to leave feedback for technical services received.

Hello Brian, We recently had a not-so-positive and then a positive experience with technical customer service.  Out of the blue, we received messages that my daughter was at 75% of her data usage.  She has 2 GB and has had that for 2 years without ever, ever going over.  First call got us to Brian, who was very rude and simply said that Verizon is never responsible for the charges on a cell phone – it is always the customer’s fault.  So, I asked for a Supervisor, which got me Thomas.  Unfortunately Thomas had no clue and tried to tell that the charges were due to the update ESO8.  Our phone had ESO7 and we didn’t update.  He again was not helpful as he basically didn’t understand or want to.  Then we got Annabell at Apple.  She was very nice and talked me through the issue and possible problems with using that much data in basically 8 days.  She then called Holly at Verizon who actually looked at the schedule of data usage and determined it to be downloads on specific days at specific times.  Times like 16:48:57 to 17:48:57 – no one has conversations or uses data like that, but a download will.   And downloads, of course, didn’t happen on wi-fi.  Holly was wonderful.  Helped us clean up the phone as we couldn’t tell exactly what was downloaded.  Floated us 3 more GB of data until 10/8 when we go back to 2 GB.  Jeff and Thomas should never be allowed to talk to your customers again.  I was on the phone 2 full hours.  If I felt I had a choice I would drop Verizon in a heartbeat.  Shame on them.  That’s it.  Let me know if you’d like any additional information.  Thank you for your consideration.  Peggy

Ok, it was sweet while it lasted
    Apple sent an email:
"Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target."
I'm sure I used the Distribution certs.
Since I'm using Flash and not Xcode, what are the possible problems?
    I used adt -package -target ipa-app-store ....

  • Read feedback for a podcast by users in another country?

I've got a podcast which shows up in iTunes, and I'd like to read the comments people gave me there.
The problem is that I can only see comments from people in my own country unless I change the iTunes Store country (which can be done at the bottom of the store's home page).
I discovered by accident that I even had comments when I had the store set to US, but there has to be a better way to read all the comments than change countries until I had them all....
Does anyone know how to do this?
(I really think this is something Apple should fix by the way, set the comments/feedback to "universal" or something so they all show up on 1 page, in stead of only for 1 country at a time..)

  • Error Message When Leaving Review For Apps Downloaded Using a Different Country App Store

    DEVICES AND SOFTWARE:
    iPhone 6 Plus iOS 8.1.2, Macbook Air 11" 2013 OSX 10.10.2, iTunes 12.1.0.50
    DESCRIPTION:
When attempting to leave a review for an App that has been previously downloaded or purchased using a different country store but on the same Apple ID - the user receives an error message. The issue stems from the App not being in the Purchase History of the presently associated country store as purchase history is country dependent rather than Apple ID dependent.
    STEPS:
    1. Login the App Store on iTunes or iOS Device using an Apple ID associated with a country.
    2. Download an App for the first time using said Apple ID.
    3. Change the country of said Apple ID.
    4. Attempt to leave a review of the previously downloaded app.
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
A user should be able to leave a review to an App he/she has previously downloaded whilst the Apple ID is associated with a different country. The App Store button should show Downloaded after the country change and the App should continue to be displayed in the Purchase history. In other words the purchase history should not be country dependent but Apple ID dependent.
    ACTUAL RESULTS:
User gets an error message indicating that the app needs to be downloaded or purchased first.
    NOTES:
I have tried deleting my reviews from the original country store, and yet I am still not able to leave a review. Please make the purchase history dependent on the Apple ID rather than the Country Store. If this is not possible, provide a way for users to remove to delete the purchase history from the previous country store(s) - so these apps can appear on their current country store's purchase history. Thus they would be able to leave reviews for these apps.

  • Searching for video podcasts

How do I search for video podcasts in the Itunes store?

You could always try a manual ping of the iTMS servers...enter this in your browser's URL field adding your podcast's ID number at the end:
    https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?id=
Or this adding your podcast feed's URL at the end:
    https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?feedURL=
I know that this is a good way to get the iTMS to refresh your episode listing...not totally sure it will help the keyword issue.

  • How to leave Aperture feedback for Apple?

I want to lobby for Aperture to support my camera's raw files (I have a Leica D-Lux 2, same as the Panasonic Lumix LX1) but I cannot find out how to submit feedback. On the product feedback page there is no choice for Aperture. I wonder if there's another way?

Within Aperture you can hit Aperture>Provide Aperture Feedback.
On the web you can go to:

  • How can a guest leave feedback about the seller?

My question is: How can I leave feedback about a seller if I purchased the item as a guest?I've phoned e-Bay about why there isn't a link in my account to leave a comment, but they say I bought the items from signed in a "guest". I remember now that I forgot what my password was, and instead of trying to find out what it was, I just clicked on the option to "buy as a guest". So now there is no record of my buying anything from the seller in my e-Bay account. My purchase history when I go into my order history is blank. E-Bay told me because there is no item to "click" on in my order history, I can't connect to the Feedback link to leave a comment.E-Bay sent me a link to see the purchase that I made as a guest, but when I click on the "Give feedback" button beside the item I bought, all it does is send me back to my account, where there is no record of the purchase! So all I have done is gone around in a circle, back to the start of the problem again! Is there some way around this, so that I can leave feedback about my seller? He was very prompt about refunding me, and I want others to know how honest he is.Thank you for any help you can offer.

You could send the seller a personal email, letting her know that you were pleased by the transaction, but buying as a guest meant you cannot leave feedback.Feedback is voluntary, but that personal touch will probably mean a lot to her.

  • Why can't I leave a review for a podcast?

I wanted to leave a review for a podcast but the review dialogue box won't permit me to insert any text. I was able to rate the podcast.
Please advise how I can accomplish this.

The forum where you posted (this thread may have been moved by the time you read this) is for questions from those managing sites on iTunes U, Apple's service for colleges and universities to post educational material in the iTunes Store. You'll be most likely to get help with this issue if you ask in the general iTunes Store forum.

  • How can I leave feedback

I wanted to leave feedback about not being able to use Firefox version 4 or 5 on any of my Macs (all PPC machines. I'm not going to buy a new Mac just to run Firefox because you can't figure out how to compile a universal version). But to leave feedback, I have to be running the latest version of Firefox. This sounds like a Dilbert cartoon.

  • How can I make a book/podcast listening playlist for a blind person?

How can I make a book/podcast listening playlist for a blind person? How can lots of content be loaded, so that no navigation is required, for hundreds of hours of enjoyment?
I wanted to create a single playlist with hundreds of hours of books and podcasts for my grandmother who is blind. Then I planned to use something like the app CarTunes which basically makes the touch screen simply a gigantic pause/play button for an already created playlist.  This is perfect for a blind person. The problem: Apple no longer allows you to have a playlist with Audible Books and Podcasts. I have tried; but the podcasts and books are stripped from the playlist. It seems like all podcast and book players require navigation. (How aggravating!?)
Any help in creating hundreds of hours long spoken (selected between books and podcasts) audio content playlist for a blind person would be much appreciated!!!!

Well, good news and bad news. I found out how to tell iTunes that all my music videos are, in fact, actual "music videos" and categorize them as such. In the "Get Info" screen for a track, there is a dropdown selector where you can pick the "meta" type, such as "Music Video", "Home Video", "Movie", "TV Show", etc. This allows iTunes and iOS to think they are all music videos and play them in the same list.
Unfortunately, this is not compatable with my third party device, which is now refusing to play my music videos in a playlist and will only play them one at a time (in a single-track infinite loop no less). Very frustrating!

  • How best do I leave Gmail for Mail?

I've decided I want to take the plunge and leave Gmail for Mail, using my iCloud account. Why? I've lost trust in Google (incl. their search bias, how they handle my privacy, and how they treat the end-user as a comodity to sell rather than a customer to serve). I'd love advice on the best way to swap over. I've done a bit of researching and can't seem to nail the answers to my questions. Your help + advice on any of the items below would be much appreciated. And if you think there's a better way I should be asking the question, please let me know.
Here's what I'm looking for especially:
I use Gmail's labels a lot. What's the best way to get the same effect in Mail? Smart folders? (I do wish smart folders synced to iCloud.)
I have a lot of Gmail labels. What's the best way to export from Gmail without getting oodles of duplicates? Forwarding folder by folder would be time consuming + lossy, and stripping the labels would be counterproductive. Are those my only options?
I use a lot of Gmail filters. Mail rules seem even better, but is there any way to automate transfering the filters to Mail?
I use Gmail 'send mail as' with a collection of non-gmail addresses (from my domains). Is there any way to use my iCloud account to send from a non-iCloud address? Or, is my only option to sign up with a different webmail service in order to send from my alternate addresses in Mail?
I have my own set of pre-defined Gmail keyboard shortcuts. Do I just need to tough it out and learn the Mail shortcuts, or is there a good, free/inexpensive app for adding shortcuts to Mail? And no, I don't mean through SysPrefs (I know how to do that ). I mean Gmail style single-letter shortcuts, like 'r' for reply.
Tips for converting Gmail Contacts to Address Book.
If you've made the switch, I'd also be interested to hear your experience! I'd really like to get Mail up and running sooner and rid myself of Google.
    Papa Bear

1: Smart folders won't sync between devices. But you can create regular mailbox folders under the icloud imap folder or at the icloud website which will stay synced.
2: The best way I see to do the labels is to create the gmail account in Mail. Set it to show those labels in imap in the labels setting section at the gmail website. All your gmail folders will appear under gmail's imap folder in Mail's sidebar. Then you will have options to export or just move the messages from one mailbox to another. I think I would just create a new mailbox under iCloud, then select all the messages from one gmail folder and right click to move the messages to the iCloud folder. Seems it would be the easiest way.
3: I don't think it is possible to transfer your rules from gmail to Mail. Rules should be very carefully constructed in Mail paying much consideration to the order they are placed. Simplify it as best you can and test it. In Mail, rules only will apply to incoming messages which may be different than what gmail does.
4: iCloud does not have the option to send other email addresses and retain their identity like gmail does. Best I can say on that is to create the accounts of the other addresses in Mail seperately with their own SMTP servers to send from.
    5: No comment.
6:You can go to the gmail website and export your contacts.
Or, open up the AB on the computer and go to preferences. Open the Accounts tab. Select On My Mac in the list and check the box to sync Google contacts. Put your google sign in and password. Your Google contacts should be created on the computer. You can then select all the contacts in google and drag them to iCloud to add them. Once done, deselect the google contact syncing.

  • How can I sync a custom number of podcasts for different podcasts?

I dislike the option that I have to choose a specific number of podcasts to sync, e.g. the 10 latest, 10 oldest unplayed, etc. And that I have to choose this specific number for ALL podcasts!
How hard can it be to let me sync, for example, all episodes of podcast A, 20 most recent of podcast B, 10 oldest unplayed of podcast C, etc?! Just make a row next to each podcast with the settings, even if it's in 5-step increments.
Do you know of a way to do this?
If it's not possible, could you please listen, Apple?

Import the songs into your iTunes Library.
    Use the Songs view, and display the Date Added column;
Sort on the Date Added column, with the latest songs at the top of the list by clicking on the Date Added column so that the arrow points down:
Now select all these recently added songs and untick them by right-clicking (in the blue-highlighted area) and selecting Untick Selection:
Only the highlighted songs will be unticked.
