"Auto-Lock
Locking iPhone turns off the display to save your battery and to prevent unintended
operation of iPhone. You can still receive calls and text messages, and you can adjust
the volume and use the mic button on the iPhone stereo headset when listening to
music or on a call.
Set the amount of time before iPhone locks: Choose General > Auto-Lock and
choose a time. "

    Hi,
The events of BDT can be used to default some fields on creating a partner.
For this create a function module for ISDAT. attach that event in BUS7.
In the ISDAT funtion modulethe following code should be used.
For example to set the nationality:
    I_BUSDEFAULT-NATIO = 'DE.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BUP_BUPA_FIELDVALUES_SET'
    EXPORTING
    i_busdefault = I_BUSDEFAULT

  • Can i turn the Laptop screen off while connecting the TV?

    Dear All,
I am connecting my Mac to TV 32'' via mini display port converted to HDMI.
I am using it on MAC OS X 10.6.6, and on Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 also.
when i am connecting my TV, the 2 screens are on, Laptop screen and TV screen.
Can i turn the Laptop screen off while connecting the TV?
how to do this on both operating systems?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Boudy,

The quick answer is, hook up the tv to the computer, close the lid, then wake the computer up by clicking the mouse while the lid is closed. Not sure if it'll work while running windows, but I'd bet it does if you have the mac drivers installed on the win os.

How best to screen junk mail in the mail application?

With the Mail program running, select Preferences from the Mail menu and then select the Junk Mail tab. Turn it on. This is a decent junk mail filter and fills the needs of many people. If you find too much junk mail still making its way into your in basket, there's a third party program called SpamSieve that takes filtering to another level.

  • I want to bring in text from Word (and the web) that is already hyperlinked into InDesign. How do I do it while keeping the links active?

I want to bring in text from Word (and the web) that is already hyperlinked into InDesign. How do I do it while keeping the links active?
Whenever I copy/paste from web or Word it removes the hyperlinks.  And when I try to do it by "Place"ing a Word document into my InDesign project it keeps the formatting with it, the rectangles around the text.
I have the latest version of InDesign.
    Any help is appreciated.

Copy-and-paste may not include formatting. A regular import using Place is the best way.
The rectangles around the hyperlinks are just to indicate they are links -- they do not print, but they do show up in your PDF.
You can remove them by double-clicking the hyperlink in the Hyperlinks panel and select "Invisible Rectangle" as type.
Typically, Word hyperlinks are formatted -- blue text, underline -- with a Character Style. If you want to remove or change the formatting, all you have to do is change the character style. My experience, though, is you must check all hyperlinks because for no apparent reason sometimes they appear in the document without the character style.

  • How do I remove an icon from the dock of an iMac 10.9.5.?  Dragging doesn't work although I have tried a number of different places.  I recall right clicking used to give me a remove option.

How do I remove an icon from the dock of an iMac Maverick, 10.9.5?  I've tried dragging different places: desktop, finder list etc.  No luck.

Drag up towards the centre of the screen & hold for a second or so. The icon will have the 'smoke cloud' appear, let go & it will be removed.
There should also be a 'Remove from Dock' option in the popup menu. It is in the 'Options' section . ctrl+click will 'right click' if right clicking is disabled.
If this is not possible the Dock is locked (this may happen on a 'Managed Mac' normally setup by a company or school etc). See your tech support in this case.

  • How can I get Applications back to the Dock?

I've stupidly just dragged my applications folder to Trash (I was  surprised Mac didn't ask me if I really wanted to). I've tried to find it in Trach but it's not there, but it is down left-hand in Finder. How can I get it back to the Dock?

To get the icon for the hard drive showing on the Desktop, go to Finder's Preferences (in Finder menu) and on the General tab checkmark the item "Hard disks".
To have an icon representing the hard drive appear in the Sidebar in a Finder window, in Finder's Preferences go to the Sidebar tab and checkmark "Hard disks" in the Devices section.
Yet a third way to see the Applications folder itself - open the Applications folder, either via that entry in the Go menu or by clicking it in the Sidebar in a Finder window. Then hold down the Command key and click on the name of the folder (Applications) at the top of its window. A small dropmenu will open; select the hard drive's name from that list.
Another way - go to the View menu and select "Show Path Bar". This will open a narrow area at the bottom of each Finder window; this area will display the path to the folder that's open, including the hard drive. Double-click the mini-icon for the hard drive in that path, and the window should change to display the root-level contents of the hard drive, which includes the Applications folder.

  • How do I delete duplicate icons from the dock of an Imac 8.1?

How do I delete duplicate icons from the dock of an Imac 8.1?

No dragging to trash doesn't work. Just keep dragging them off. If they are stacked, which shouldn't happen, then when you delete one the other is still there.
Just how did you get duplicates? Did you put them there? If not then you have other problems and I'm not sure how to correct it.

  • How to keep MS excel icon in the dock at iMac of guest sharing account

    Dear All
May i know how to keep MS excel icon in the dock at iMac of guest sharing account.
    Thank a lot
    Raymond

It's normal for the Guest account to return to a default state after logging out. Applications can still be opened from the Applications & other folders.
You can add things to the Dock, & make other changes, using Workgroup Manager 10.8
although it's not especially intuitive or forgiving. Post again if you want to try it.

    Hi Lisa,
After user enters value in Screen 102, lets say CONTINUE is pressed. In PAI for 102 for OK_CODE 'CONTINUE' use
    SET SCREEN 0.
          LEAVE SCREEN.
Your processing will then start from CALL METHOD gcl_tree->add_node

  • How to create new folders while installing the VI in some other PC

    Hi,
I want to create a folder while installing the VI to some other maching using installer/setup.exe and also i want to copy some excel file to the c: drive of installing PC while installing is their anyway to do this. Please help me in this regards
    Regards
    Shivakumar Singh

    Hi
If you are installing vi from CD, then you might use the first approach with application builder.
If you just want to use any CD, than I think you should consider some interactive script with the user.
You can easily creat one with the windows commands, by means of *.cmd files. You can read about it by typing "help cmd" and/or "help" in the RUN in Windows. Then I propose to search the web for some examples on how to write the cmd scripts. If you know TCL there will be no problem for you.
You can also try to ask some dudes on the WinNT newsgroup. They will write it in no time.
Unfortunatelly I have now no time to write the script for you.
    good luck

  • Clumsy user new to Mac - how do I get Finder back into the Dock?

While messing around deleting playlists in iTunes it seems I managed to drag Finder off the Dock and onto the Desktop.
The Desktop version is now completely inactive and the only way to access Finder is to close down every other application first, leaving Finder as the default.
How can I restore Finder to the Dock? Is this even possible? Or am I better off setting up a separate shortcut somewhere else in the system?
    Thanks!

It might be a good idea to backup your photos/music to CD/DVD just in case.
If you navigate to your computer (double-click hard drive)/System folder (blue X)/Library/CoreServices (blue X)/Finder, you can try dragging the Finder app. to the dock to re-create a shortcut.
How does the Finder (desktop, menu bar, dock etc.) behave in your problem account ?

  • How to delete a Safari bookmark in the Dock?

    Hi all,
Sometime over the course of the past day or so, either I or a family member visited a website that apparently put a Safari bookmark in my dock. At least that's what it looks like. I actually haven't clicked on it, since I didn't put it there.
The problem is, I can't figure out how to remove it. When I option-click on it, there's no option for removing it from the dock, like there is whenever I option-click one of the other icons.
Here's a screenshot of the icon. It's the little Safari icon next to the trash can.
And here's another that shows it's label:
Not sure how it got there. All I know is that when I opened up Safari this evening, a little movement -- like something moved to the download folder in the dock -- caught my eye, and when I looked down to the bottom right of the screen, I saw this icon in the dock. I didn't dare click on it, since I don't know if it's actually an app or something that shouldn't be on the computer. It doesn't appear that anything got downloaded. At least nothing new is in the download folder.
How do I get rid of this bookmark? As the graphic above shows, there's no option for "delete," and dragging it away from the dock doesn't work.

Try holding down the command key while clicking and hold it. Pull it away from the Dock until you see a puff of smoke.
