I am a paid member and I would like to licence the lightroom CC.

You would get the redemption code, or perhaps even the serial number, from whomever you purchased the software from, apparently Amazon, so talk to them. This wouldn’t be the first time they’ve sold something that didn’t have all the numbers needed to license it.
A redemption code is something that is usually on the inner disc packaging if you purchase the media in a box, and there is a barcode on the outside of the packaging that must be scanned at the checkout register to activate the hidden inner code so you can redeem it at home on that website. This is what happens if you buy PSE from a brick-and-mortar store like Best Buy. I don’t’ know what happens if you purchase the downloaded version as I have never done that.
A redemption code is 24-digits of letters and numbers that you enter into a website to get a serial number, once and only once. The serial number of only 24-digits, no letters, is what you enter into the software during the install or when you run it and it asks if you want to register or run in a trial mode—whatever the exact phrasing is.
In any case it sounds like you don’t have either a redemption code or serial number—although perhaps something is listed on the purchase confirmation or your account online at Amazon or even in an e-mail from Amazon.

Start by using your web browser to go to creative.adobe.com. Log in there with your Adobe ID.
There is no serial number for subscriptions. You use your Adobe ID. Then there are options to download applications.

You may not be able to get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you, particularly if the problem was on their end preventing the movie from downloading in a reasonable time.

Please tell me how to scan for a character. I tried this:

I know you're trying to help, but this isn't really doing it. It does nothing to address the source of the OP's problem. The way he's doing it now is almost right. He just needs to do a tiny bit of detective work to fix a small bug. After reading the post thoroughly I saw that the problem can be solved by taking the sentence the user enters and then converting it into a array of characters. Then searching for the specific letter the user enters is achieved by comparing it to each individual element of the char array. Then incrementing a counter variable each time a match is made. I hope this example code solve your problem.

I ordered a new video card for my Imac24 and welovemacs said they needed my SN# or their distributor would not release the part. Is this legit? Sounds kinda fishy to me.

Did you ask welovemacs why their distributor requires a serial? All I can think of is that the vendor wants the serial to verify that they ship the correct part.
As to private data, there's probably little danger in releasing the serial. I can't think of any personal data that anyone outside of Apple could access with the S/N other than when your warranty will expire. So it's probably save to give it to the vendor.

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

The iPhone is new, has never been used. When asked if I want to set it up as a new phone, restore from an iTunes backup, or my iCloud backup I selected iCloud. It then askes for me to sign in with my Apple ID, I then agree to the terms, then it asks for me to sign into my friends Apple ID. She and I have used each other's computers in the past so I assume this is where her information is coming from. The problem is she no longer had that email or Apple ID and has no way of gaining access to it and therefor I am unable to proceed.
I suppose my question is, how can I remove her information from mine so I can setup my new phone using iCloud. Also, I have already checked my Apple ID online and nowhere on my account is her information listed.
