How to link Infotype Table Data to Logical Database

We have historical data in one of our system brought by using diret insert queries on Infotype tables. Now, we are facing a problem that this data is not visible from PA20/PA30. Also, while using Logical Database in programs, we are not able to extract data from Infotypes using GET events.
Does anybody have any idea/solution to this kind of problem?

What made you to take decision to make direct table updates? I am not sure if this was the correct way. Anyway, whether all the module pool programs are in place foe these custom infotypes. You dont have to do anything else to have logical database program to fetch data for custom infotypes. Check if eveything in PM01 is configured correctly.

Interaction between database program and report:
During program processing, subroutines are performed in the database program and events are executed in the report.
To read data from a database tables we use logical database.
A logical database provides read-only access to a group of related tables to an ABAP/4 program.
advantages:-
The programmer need not worry about the primary key for each table.Because Logical database knows how the different tables relate to each other,and can issue the SELECT command with proper where clause to retrieve the data.
i)An easy-to-use standard user interface.
ii)check functions which check that user input is complete,correct,and plausible.
iii)meaningful data selection.
iv)central authorization checks for database accesses.
v)good read access performance while retaining the hierarchical data view determined by the application logic.
disadvantages:-
i)If you donot specify a logical database in the program attributes,the GET events never occur.

In R3 there is a t-code RSDBC through that t-code you make your data source .
I know you already make a connection between r3 and sql2000.
in RSDBC in logical system name you enter your connection name,and in table /view u should enter sql table name and make sure the table name which u enter in this text box should be store in sql in capital letters and fields should be in capital letters.
and generate your data source and execute it it show all the record .

I have checked in transaction SQVI if any relationship exists between the
two tables but there is none
Is there any third table which is common and can be used to link VBAP and
IB SYMBOL
I require this bcz IB SYMBOL contain the charecteristic's of KMAT material
(configurable material ) which need to be printed in the o/p
Is there any other way i can link VBAP to get these characteristc's in the output.

Check with your Basis admin if it would be possible to back up and restore the data. They must have something in case of emergency anyway.
Changes in the table fields do not delete the data. I bet someone just used the Database Utility incorrectly and instead of doing the table adjustment with saving the data delete it (there is literally a radio-button for it). Just don't let people do this in Production and you'll be OK.
Also between DEV and PRD you should have another test run in the QA system. If it didn't work well in both DEV and QA I wouldn't ever put this changes in Production, to be honest.

In which format is your data in the internal table currently. Is it returned by a smartform/script or its just data fetched from some database table into an internal table. Since its obvious that the data should appear in the PDF with some Layout, you should be using smartform to format the data properly. See the Link

The data transfer from Abap WebDeypro to flex island works well. I followed , there is an example from Thomas Jung (by the way as always Great Work) and Karthikeyan Venkatesan (Infosys) but this example covers simple type only.
There is no example with complex types like arrayCollection which handle the transfer of data from flex to WebDynpro.
i tried to do pass internal table value to flex-datagrid.but its not work.
i would like to know

2.how to pass dynamically in ADOBE flex.

How to Convert internal table data into text output and send mail in ABAP

Good Morning.
Taking a glance at a code that converts internal table data to an Excel file in ABAP. also checked how to send this excel to mailing list as attachment.
But thought of doing it without excel.
I mean, I have an internal table which contains fields of all types (character,integer,date,time). Since it is only around 4 to 5 rows in it (output),why to convert it to excel. not required!!. Instead I want to send this output to User's mails as Normal mail body with No attachments.
Could anybody please suggest me a way as to how to send internal table data as a mail ( not as an excel or PDF etc).
as of now my findings are, it is quite complex to convert internal table data to email (Text) format. but i believe if there is some way of doing it.

       How to Populate Internal table data to Table Control in a Report Program? It is a pure report program with out any Module pool coding involved, which is just used to display data. Till now it is being displayed in a report. Now the user wants the data to be displayed in a table control. Could someone tell me how to go about with this.

If you want to use a table control, you will need to create a screen.
In your report....
start-of-selection.
perform get_data. " Get all your data here
call screen 100. " Now present to the user.
Double click on the "100" in your call screen statement. This will forward navigate you to the screen. If you have not created it yet, it will ask you if you want to create it, say yes. Go into screen painter or layout of the screen. Use the table control wizard to help you along the process. It will write the code for you. Since it is an output only table control, it will be really easy with not a lot of code.
A better way to present the data to the user would be to give it in a ALV grid. If you want to go that way, it is a lot easier. Here is a sample of the ALV function module. You don't even have to create a screen.

How to handle multiple tables data in Entity Beans?
i mean, my bean (non trivial) is responsible for frequent
insertion in one table and some deletion on another table.
Can anyone of you...please..?

Is your data model right? If you are adding in one and deleting in another it sounds to me more like a process that an entity, in which case you may revisit your data model and simplify it, add in a session bean with the process method to co-ordinate between the two.
However, if you want to map multiple different tables within a single entity bean it is possible and just part of the mapping. How you actualyl specify it depends on which implementation you are working with.
