  • How do automate using two output types in an invoice based on plant

    Hello,
    Can you tell me how to configure automatically two output types for the same invoice.
    My client has business in USA and Europe.We are using only one sales organization. But we need to print invoices in letter size and A4 size depending on whether the invoice is created in europe or in USA. So , I have created two output types, one for letter size and one for A4 size. How do I configure so that if it is based in a plant/shipping point in Europe it is printed using the A4  output type else in letter size. Please suggest.
    SAPSDUSER

    I do not think you can use plant/shipping point in your access sequence for invoice output on header level, unless you add these fields to header level kommunication structure and populate these fields in userexit.
    You can either
    1. define requirement routines for your 2 output types which are mutually exclusive (if plant = A routine 1 returns sy-subrc = 0, routine 2 returns sy-subrc <>0, if plant = B routine 1 returns sy-subrc <>0, routine 2 returns sy-subrc = 0). You can assign requirements to output type either in output determination procedure OR in the access sequence. I would do it in output determination procedure. Check transactions NACO or NACE.
    OR
    2. add your fields to komkbv3 communication structure, populate your fields in thsi structure in userexits which are called from the function module komkbv3_fill and then you can either use then in the access sequence for your output types or create routines as in case 1. but the logic will be a simple check statement since KOMKBV3 is available in these routines.
    3. In fact you can use one output type and select your layout in the print program itself... which may be even easier for you. We use this approach to select proper layout for GEOs which may have several layouts depending on region for example... so the output type is defined per country, then layout is selected by print program. (tnapr-fonam = ..., nast-spras = proper language, set country '' to use proper decimal & date format...)

  • How can I Replay an output type BA01 on VA02

    Hi All,
    When a sales order V1 is created, OUTPUT type BA01 generates a smartform and in this code we fill in a table with spool data to generate a PDF. Yhis PDF is stored in specific table.
    Manually we can generate VA02 --> EXTRA --> OUTPUT --> Header --> EDIR --> REPEAT OUTPUT a new BA01.
    But we have to genearte a lot of!
    If we know sales order number, do you know if it exists a program (Standard) or a function which allow us to create 'in masse' OUTPUT TYPE BA01?
    Best regards
    Henri

    Not sure of a standard program/FM doing this but try this sample code  - fill in the correct values for your system where necessary.  Obviously you will have to do this in a loop for multiple sales order numbers
    TABLES: nast,
            tnapr.
    nast-kappl = 'V1'.
    nast-spras = sy-langu.
    nast-objky = vbeln.  "Order number
    " get output record
    SELECT SINGLE *
           FROM nast
           WHERE objky = nast-objky AND
                 kschl = 'BA01'    AND  "Output type
                 kappl = nast-kappl AND
                 spras = nast-spras.
    nast-nacha =  '1'.  "Printer (or whatever you use)
    nast-ldest = 'PPPP'. "Printer number
    " read configuration to find output program
    SELECT SINGLE *
       FROM tnapr
       WHERE kschl =  nast-kschl AND
             nacha = '1'         AND
             kappl =  nast-kappl.
    " trigger output program
    PERFORM (tnapr-ronam) IN PROGRAM (tnapr-pgnam) USING w_subrc
                                                         space.
    IF w_subrc NE 0.
    "     handle error...
    ELSE.
      COMMIT WORK.
    ENDIF.

  • Configuration output type for VL02N - creating output type

    Dear Sapguru,
    I want to configure output type for VL02N transaction for IDOC creation,Here scenario is to connect SAP to third party system in IS retail.
    VL02N- Output type configuration In only return delivery case.
    Can anybody guide step by step cycle configuration for output type.Looking forward for your quick reply.
    Note: Output type required for IDOC,to communicate with third party system,not for print function.
    Thanks.

    Dear Anup,
    If my understanding is correct,
    This seems to be a outbound Idoc scenario where Idoc will be sent by SAP to third party for a return delivery notification.
    Output type configuration steps are as follows :
    1) Identify the standard output type (Application - V2, Transmission Medium - 6 ) for e.g. LAVA which is very close to your requirement.
    2) Use this output type as a reference & create a copy output type of your own.
    3) Use a suitable access sequence or create your own access sequence as per your requirement.
    4) Assign access sequence to the output type.
    5) Maintain output determination procedure (connect your output type to a suitable procedure )
    6) Assign output determination procedure. (to your delivery document type)
    7) Maintain required output condition records through T Code - VV21 against your newly created output type.
    8) Set up the partner profiles as per your requirement (T code - WE20)
    9) Check the reflection/ effects of your new output setup at the delivery document level (VL02N).
    You may quickly access these settings through T codes - NACE.
                                                                                  Tables - TNAPR, NAST
    Hope it will help you in the set up.

  • How can i find differnet output types for a given sales order ?

    hi all,
    answer my question please........?
    how can i find differnet output types for a given sales order ?

    hi
    check in NACO transaction if you have assigned access sequence to your output ytpes and if you have ticked checkbox "Access to output conditions" - otherwise it will not even try to access condition records.
    From help :
    Access to output conditions
    Indicates whether the system determines the output by searching for valid
    condition records.
    Procedure
    If you want the system to search condition records for the appropriate
    output, mark the field.
    Note
    If you leave the field blank and if you are processing sales, shipping,
    or billing documents, the system automatically determines output from
    information stored in the customer master record.

  • Output type triggered by which tcode

    Hi,
    1. Could anyone tell me how can I determine one output type is triggered by which tcode?
    2. Please give me step by step to create new output type for new SD document type, for ex Contract, and how to populate it in VA43?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    New Output type can be created by,
    SPRO --> SD --> Basic Functions --> Output Control --> Output Determination --> Output Determination Using the Condition Technique --> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents --> Maintain Output Types
    But before doing all the things you need to maintain which kind of output you want for sales documetns
    For sales documents the output condition can be maintained by VV11, delivery documents it is VV21 and for billing it is VV31.

  • New Email output type:  How to make invoice 'Copy' rather than 'Original'?

    Hello SD Friends-
    FICO guy here.  I created an output type to email invoices to customers however how do I change the invoice from saying 'Original' to 'Copy' when using this output type?
    Thank you!!

    Actual logic should be first copy s Orginal and next copies as Copy or Duplicate, if you want the output alsways as copy, then ask your abaper to write logic that what ever output processing status, email output should send as Copy.
    Please let me know if any questions.

  • How to make use of communication method in output type for new smartform?

    Hi all,
    My requirement, send the smartform to the carrier by fax/email/print based on the output condition records created.
    Here are the things that I had done.
    1) created a ZSMARTFORMS - smartforms
    2) created a ZPRINTPROGRAM - print program
    3) created a ZTCFRT - transaction code
    3) created an ZFRT  - output type
    I am stuck here. What are the next steps ? I want when I run transaction code: ZTCFRT, this print program ZPRINTPROGRAM will call this  ZSMARTFORMS smartforms and send/fax/print to the carrier.
    It would be great that someone can share the steps with me.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Have you written any code in your program or just Created it?
    If you have only created it, then you need to call some functions in your PRINT Program and these are:
    Below is just an example:
      CALL FUNCTION 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
        EXPORTING
          formname           = i_formname
        IMPORTING
          fm_name            = i_fm_name
        EXCEPTIONS
          no_form            = 1
          no_function_module = 2
          OTHERS             = 3.
        CALL FUNCTION i_fm_name
          EXPORTING
            control_parameters = control_parameters
            output_options     = output_options
            user_settings      = space
            vbeln              = p_vbeln
          TABLES
            it_vbak            = it_vbak
          EXCEPTIONS
            formatting_error   = 1
            internal_error     = 2
            send_error         = 3
            user_canceled      = 4
            OTHERS             = 5.
        IF sy-subrc <> 0.
          MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
                  WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
        ENDIF.
    After calling second function, system execution will reach to the SMARTFORM (which you have created). There in smartform you can do whatever you want.

  • How to bind complex input/output types in web service data control

    Hi,
    I have created data control using external web service for simple input & output data type and its working fine.
    But I don't know how it can be done for complex data types.
    My external Web services have complex input & output types. Such as java object which contains another java object again it contains another java object or arry or java collection etc.
    Each my service has one complex input data type and for this no user input is require so how I can do it without using any component for it.
    I want to bind my page components with this input & output type.
    What is the best approach to do this and how to bind screen component.

  • Create output type for Quotes

    Hi all,
    I want to create new output type for quotes that will create an IDOC file at the quote level.
    It will Include all of the same segments that are currently being populated for IDOCS created for ZBA4 order confirmation output type. Also it will
    Include expiry date from quote header vbak.bnddt (segment E1EDK03, qualifier 006).
    Include S0A Reference from quotation header text remarks (segment E1EDKT1)
    How to that??
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Kittu,
    For your requirement needs output determination settings for the billing.
    I don't think you can have Medium PDF ,you can send the PDF file Via Medium Mail.
    To do the output determination proceed with this path
    IMG>Sales and Distribution->Basic functions>Output control>Output determination>Output Determination Using the Condition Technique-->Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents.
    -->Maintain Condition Tables
    -->Maintain Output Types
    -->Maintain Access Sequences
    -->Assign Output Types To Partner Functios
    -->Maintain Output Determination Procedure
    -->Assign Output Determination Procedures
    You have to assign output program to your output type.You need develop the program such a way that to send the PDF file Via Mail.
    After these settings you need to maintain the condition record with Medium Mail in VV31 transaction.
    I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Creating Output Type

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement where I have to create an Output type based on existing one But with little different logic.
    How can I do this as I am dealing with Smartforms for the first time?
    Thanks
    Asha

    hi,
    Is there an existing output type from which you can fetch the smartform details?
    If yes, go ahead and copy the existing smartform and start making changes.
    For smartforms, the tcode is smartforms.
    First, whenever u creat a smartform , a function module is created.That function module u have to call in the ABAP program.
    In ABAP program for knowing the function module name, u can use,
    SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME
    eg:
    DATA: FM_NAME TYPE RS38L_FNAM.
         CALL FUNCTION 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
           EXPORTING
             FORMNAME = 'Smartformname'
           IMPORTING
             FM_NAME  =  FM_NAME.
         CALL FUNCTION FM_NAME
           EXPORTING
           IMPORTING
           TABLES
           EXCEPTIONS
