How to listen to each other when recording ?

Hi there,
I am now faced with another technical problem.
I have 8 mics connected to each of the 8 singers.
Each of the 8 has a headphone which enable them to listen to the instrumental when recording. But now, the singers said they need to listen to each other's singing (voice) so that they can time and mix their singing.
How do I make them able to listen to each other singing ?
Any solution to this ?

But I did a right click on the little dot at the left hand side of the track & saw a selection of Monitor off, Monitor On & Monitor On (No feedback protection). Do I turn this to Monitor On ?
Assuming if the above is correct, if Track 1 to Track 8 are all vocals track to be recorded, and if I set Track 1 and Track 2 to "Monitor ON", that means all the 8 singers with headphones (Track 1 to 8) will be able to hear the vocal from singers in Track 1 and Track 2.
Is my understanding of the above correct ?

Adding media directly to the media folder does not make it appear in the library. iTunes doesn't really 'look' at that folder except to go to specific files when you call upon them from a library. You have to drag new content to each user's library, that is assuming each user has their own library.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Requirement:
How to make two clients on same VLAN communicate to each other when tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled on tunneled-node configuration at controller?
Whenever we enable tunnel-loop-prevention on controller while we configure tunneled-node, the communication between two tunneled-node client on same VLAN is blocked or dropped.
If the tunneled-node clients are of different VLANs then they can communicate between them even when the tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled on the controller.
Solution:
To make two tunneled-node client on same VLAN to communicate between them, we need to enable "local-proxy-arp" for the interface VLAN on the controller.
Once it is enabled now the tunneled-node clients on same VLAN can communicate between each other.
Configuration:
To enable "local-proxy-arp":
Get to the interface of the VLAN on the controller
Example :
(config)#interface vlan 5
(config)#ip local-proxy-arp
To enable tunnel loop prevention on controller
(config)# tunnel-loop-prevention
Verification
Show commands:
To check if tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled or disabled
#show tunneled-node config
Tunnelded node Server: Enabled
Tunnel Loop Prevention: Enabled
To check if local-proxy-ap is enabled:
#show interface vlan 5
Look for in the output "ProxyARP enable"

All of our phones got synced together after doing an Itunes upgrade on line. We are now receiving all of eachothers incoming and outgoing text messages. How do we unsync from each other's phones?

Applets don't see each other when having certain jar files as archive

Hi,
I have read a nice solution for Applet2Applet communication when they are on different html pages (different frames or windows) at http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/javatips/jw-javatip101.html.
They see each other through a static AppletManager.The idea is working it is really good.
But when I add a certain jar file to the archive parameter they don't see each other any more. Even more the static initializer of the AppletManager class runs twice. I have also noticed that the ClassLoader of the two applet is different:
LeftApplet: ClassLoader: sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader@10a6ae2
RightApplet: ClassLoader: sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader@13adc56
If I remove that particular jar from the archive parameter they are the same:
LeftApplet: ClassLoader: sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader@13adc56
RightApplet: ClassLoader: sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader@13adc56
and the two applets can communicate again.
And here comes the fun the two applet doesn't use anything from that jar package...
I would appreciate any help, or link where I could go on whit this issue.

If the jar lists are not identical in each Applet, different classloaders are used:
archive = "a.jar,b.jar,c.jar" in Applet A, means that in Applet B you must have archive = "a.jar,b.jar,c.jar" or a separate class loader will be used. Do this even if your applets don't use any classes in an included jar.

How 2 portlets can listen to each other

I have 2 portlets who need to communicate. If I assign the listenTo attribute of

This example is loads an html file in the second portlet, on click of a link on
the first. When the link is clicked on the first portlet, the link info is stored
in a PipelineSession object, and the second portlet loads the appropriate page
by retrieving this info from the PipelineSession object.

I have 2 iphones, 1 personal and 1 for work under the same apple ID ( dont want 2 IDs) and I'd like to keep them separate from each other.When I receive phone calls and message they both get them and so does apps,how do I break the link between them?

I just my two phones to act as two separate entities and not being linked together and I don't want to create 2 apple IDs. one is for work and the other private, I don't want my private phone to get work related material and vise et versa.

As I stated in my question that I do not want 2 Apple accounts, I already have one with all my private information and it should be good enough regardless how many devices. I didn't tried the iCloud but I don't think I actually had it setup.

How do I get FF and IE to run completely independent of each other when browsing?

I want to use IE 8 and Firefox 3 (3.6 presently loaded) concurrently, yet independently, for website testing. I was previously able to do this without issue on my old computer, but after recently changing laptops, I find both IE and FF now share cookies as if one browser. I want them to operate as two separate browsers, not sharing cookies or preferences in any way.
For example, when I open a test site on FF, logging in with ''username A'', then open IE to same site - IE shows I am already logged in as ''usename A'', even though IE was a fresh start and page load; similarly, when I change users on the site via IE and log in as ''username B'', (not changing a thing on or via FF,) my FF screen updates (the site is designed to auto-refresh periodically) showing me as ''username B'' on both browsers. Never had this problem before changing machines, so I'm guessing it is settings need tweaking, but have no idea where to find the right one(s) to make my new machine work like my old machine, resolving my browser independence problem. Can anyone offer help?

Will 2 routers running in server mode with no vtp domain defined conflict with each other when connecting over layer 2 sonet?

Our remote site has a 3845 router running MPLS to connect back to our other 3845 locally. The ISP has provided us a layer 2 sonet connection with no other configurations necessary with the exception of configuring the layer 2 portion on our side. Both of these 3845 routers are in "server mode" with "no vtp domain" specified. Will this cause an issue/conflict when the remote router bypasses the MPLS for the faster 100MB layer 2 connection?

Excellent answer. Our two 3845 routers are about 400 miles away and we're trying to bring up a layer 2 100MB sonet connection over fiber connected to the GIG0/1 port on each router. I was worried that essentially having these 2 routers back to back over layer 2 may cause issues since our remote site has a higher revision number than our local site. It appears since we're configuring an ip address on each router and then adding the network to ospf this shouldn't conflict with our 2 routers. Below is how each router VTP is configured with the exception our remote site has 1 extra VLAN and a higher revision number.

For the iPad mini's you need to utililize an independent verifyible e-mail address for each of them. You can associate these two e-mail addresses with your single Aplle Id. If you supply the ipads with the same email address, you will not be able to make Facetime calls from one to the other, or if you make an FT call from your phones, both ipads would respond. In other words, if you want the ipads to function as individual devices they each need a unique e-mail address assigned to them.
