How to load 6 months of data for 11_VAITM

Hello,
We recently found out that our production BW system was getting ZERO records from it's R/3 source for 11_VAITM since the middle of June 2007 - almost 6 months. We investigated to find out that it was because the last delta load with data thought it was cancelled. All of the sales order data has been accumulating since this "cancelled load" in LBWQ, so the missing data is available.
Our current issue is how we should load 6 million records for this datasource. If we run the delta, it will take days to load and will impact other nightly loads and the users on the system. Is there any way to split up the delta to load a specified range of data? Or is our best option to do a full load by date range and delete the data in the queue in LBWQ?

Does your extractor load data to ODS first and then to cube or directly to cube?
If you do repair full load directly to cube there may be addition of KF depending upon data present in the cube....
Also 6 million wont take much time...but risk of bad data .. and to know best selection key to pull data is key...
For repair ful : you need to delete and fill set up tables accordingly..

you can by creating generic datasources on thoase tables with Full load or delta.
if the number entries is less.. you can try full load...
if it is more... along with required fields...put date also as one fields. which needs to get date of execution of program or date of uploading to Tables. this will be useful build Delta Mechanism.

I have 12 month of data for 35 KPI in excel sheet which needs to be updated every month when new data comes.
I need to design a dashboard in xcelsius, can you please help me how can i design the architecture for this dashboard so that when excel sheet will be updated every month then data automatically refresh in dashboard.

Assume that, i have an Applet application that need to loaded into 1000cards..

for 1000 cards you can use a "small" printer like an evolis "dualis" or something like that
we've produced thousands of cards with this method in my company.
the pro is that you can also print the cards in the same time.
they usually have simple APIS like get_new_card_from_loader(), put_card_on_contacts(), eject_card()
you can connect any reader on the printer , the raw card contacts are available on a connector.
some printers also have contactless couplers.
but remember that deploying cards in the field is not just loading an applet.
it's also a cryptographic challenge, you need to change the card keys or anyone will be able to play with your cards, adding and removing applets as they want.
typically this is achieved by using an ultra secret mother key and whatever derivation algorithm you like using data from INIT UPDATE as diversifier. example, you can TDES cipher part of the INIT UPDATE data using the mother key as TDES key, or use something involving SHA1, using a HSM if you are serious, etc.

Apply sql filter(covert to sql) on report as date_column= TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY,-DAYOFMONTH(date 'presntation_variable'),date 'presentation_variable')

How to load the exist Data Mart Request in to cube.

Hi Friends,
I have a scenario... i got DSO and one Cube , iam loading the data from DSO to Cube .
The number of records are more in the DSO and due to some clculation in the routine i need to load the data year by year(i got 2007 and 2008 year daya). I have loaded the 2007 data to the Infocube and in the DSO i can see the Data Mart Symbal against the Request Id when th load is finished successfully.
When iam trying to load the 2008 data from DSO to Cube iam getting the "0" records. I realised that the Data Mart symbal is exist in the DSO.
How to load the 2008 data in this scenario. If i delete the data mart sysbel means iam deleting the Cube request.
Can any have an idea on this.

Things are not clear.
How is loading happening if its delta or full load through DTP or you using 3.5 flow??
In any cases if you do a full load or full repair based on the year selection it should pick the records from the source...there is nothing to do with the data mart status in the case of full loads.
Data mart status will come into picture only when you schedule the delta loads.
Do a full load based on selections on year from the DSO to the cube...no need to delete the data mart or it will bring that request again delta is scheduled...does that request in DSO contains the data for 2008 only ...if yes then you can just delete the data mart status for that and do a delta...if not then do full loads as said.

Your list seems to be a little restrictive, you can do a lot more with ODI procedures.
If you create new procedure, and add a step. In the 'command on source' tab set you technology and schema as per your source database. Use the unpivot functionality as described in the link, please, rather than using 'SELECT *' use the appropriate column names and alias them for eg:
SELECT job as job,
deptsal as deptsal,
saldesc as saledesc
FROM pivoted_data
UNPIVOT (
deptsal --<-- unpivot_clause
FOR saldesc --<-- unpivot_for_clause
IN (d10_sal, d20_sal, d30_sal, d40_sal) --<-- unpivot_in_clause
Then in your 'command on target' tab set the technology and schema to your target db, then put your INSERT statement for eg:
INSERT INTO job_sales
(job,
deptsal,
saledesc
VALUES
:job,
:deptsal,
:saledesc
Therefore you are using bind variables from source to load data into target.
Obviously if the source and target table are in the same database, then you can have it all in one statement in the 'command on target' as
INSERT INTO job_sales
(job,
deptsal,
saledesc
SELECT job as job,
deptsal as deptsal,
saldesc as saledesc
FROM pivoted_data
UNPIVOT (
deptsal --<-- unpivot_clause
FOR saldesc --<-- unpivot_for_clause

also set the log counter as 'Insert' on the tab where your INSERT statement is, so you know how many rows you insert into the table.

Hi Selvakumar,
we can resrict the PO to have a single delivery date in all the line items by means of giving a error message or overwiting the delivery date keyed/determined in the line item.
You can use the BADI -> ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. In which you need to implement the method PROCESS_SCHEDULE.
(for technical aid - This method will be called for each and every PO line item, From the imporing parameter im_schedule we can get all the details of current PO line, even we can change the data in the current PO line. )

In Oracle, we don't access schemas but schema objects.And this informationis not kept anywhere persistantly.As Amit also mentioned,if you do need it,you have to enable Auditing.

In se09 tcode , we a date which represents the last changed date .. Now , for a particular Released request i want to find out the Creation date for it . How can i find it . I checked the tables like E070create there also we have requests that not released yet , i have also checked se03 and other tcode and a fn mo dules like TR_READ_GLOBAL_INFO_OF_REQUEST .

You can use one time customer functionality to full fill your requirement.
When you create sales order with one time customer system take you to the customer data maintanence screen through that you can maintain the one time customer data.
Same one time customer number you can use for every new order through maintaining different data.

That's not how it works. Recents is limited to exactly 100 calls, not a time frame. If you need your call history for a specific time frame, look on your carrier's website. Most carriers will permit you to login to your account & view call history.
