How to load one movieclip after the other, without looping?

Hi,
I am new to Flash, and am trying to make this file work, in Flash CS4, using AS2. First some info on my file. I have 2 movieclips, mc1 and mc2. mc1 is in the first frame in scene1, it plays out for 138 frames, after which the scene darkens for 15 frames and then mc2 starts playing.
The problem is that I cannot get the timeline to stop looping after it moves onto to mc2. I have tried everything, I have a stop function in the last frame, stop functions within mc2. I even tried a gotoandStop(mc2_Frameno). Nothing works. It still keeps looping. When I extended the mc1 layer to the complete extent of mc2 layer, then it did not loop. But I don't want that as it is causing undesirable effects on the screen.
All I want is to play mc1 and mc2 one after the other, with no breaks. After entering mc2, the timeline needs to stop once buttons are loaded in mc2. But after loading the buttons, it moves out of mc2 and starts playing the timeline again.
I am extremely frustrated as I cannot understand why this is happening. I am new and am clearly unaware of the mistake I am making, and would really really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do this. mc1 and mc2 are not loaded with AS2, just put on the stage at the right frames. I tried to unload mc1 with unloadMovie, but it still won't work. Please Help Me.

If you can make your fla file available for download as a CS3 or earlier file version (I don't have CS4), I can take a look at it.

How do I get it to just play through all the podcasts that I've downloaded just like my 1st gen?
Group and order your podcasts to a playlist. Then play them from the playlist.

Load one scene before the other

I have two scenes, one acts as a preloader. It contains a flv video that should play before the other scene is loaded. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to specify this logic on the timeline.
For example, I want scene 1 to play until frame 20 and scene 2 to start at scene 21. How can this be accomplished?

I do have the scenes set up in that order, however they do not play one after the other. It just jumps to the main scene.
I reviewed the tutorial and it is great, however my preloader contains a flv video. I want this short video to play to the end before the second (main) scene is loaded.

How do I join/link 2 tracks together so one plays after the other (even when shuffled)

Is it possible to link 2 songs together within an album or playlist, so they still play in the correct order even when playing in a shuffled playlist? Some tracks are just meant to be played in the right order (example is INXS "Need You Tonight", followed immediately by "Mediate". Sounds crazy I know, but these 2 tracks are just meant to go together!) Any help or hints greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all of you cleverer people than me!

If you are ripping from CD, select the CD, select the songs, then menu Advanced > Join CD tracks. Then RIP and it will be as a single track named with both song names.
If you do not have the CD, you can use this -> Join Together

Also, to learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here, here, here, here and here are a few you can start with and here are some tutorial videos. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).

Just updated to the newest 7.1 and cannot listen to my music. Once I skip one song it keeps skipping songs one after the other without stopping. Any idea?

I deleted the app from the muttitask as well. But once I open it and skip one song it does not stop? Haven't restarted my phone maybe somebody wants to run some diagnostics on it. But it is pretty frustrating. Have an iPhone 4 btw

Playlist song titles appear one after the other without playing

Some of my playlists simply show each track title for a brief moment, then the next title appears. If I don't move to another playlist, this goes on repeatedly from the first title to the last. Other playlist titles play normally. Why is this? Does it have something to do with track information (track numbers, artist, composer, etc.)? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have two FormCentral accounts and would like to move a large number of my forms from one account to the other without having to recreate them. Is there an easy way to do this?

I do know that I can Export either the design Form OR the Responses then Import them into my other account but I don't see a way to export the entire Form WITH the Responses.

Hi Dr. Ron,
By your question, I am wondering if you are playing your music from the iTunes app rather than the Music app?
In the Music App, you can go to any of the options at the bottom and click on a song to play and it will then continue to play the songs in that category. You can also select "Shuffle" to shuffle them.
As for your Photos, did you have them backed up anywhere?

Let's say I have an idvd project with 5 different movies, how do I make one plays after the other? When I click next, it goes back to the menu. Thanks Alex

There are two ways to do this.
1. If you have it, use iMovie HD6. You can put all of your movies into one project, and add chapter markers at the beginning of each movie. This will allow you to play your movies straight through or select the individual movies, like a scene selection.
2. You can use iDVD instead. Check out this post by Old Toad on how to use this method.

Have clips automatically plan continuously one after the other...

I have created a iDVD project. In this project I have 8 different clips that I want to have play one after the other without having to go back to the title and choose the next clip. Is there a way to have them play as in "Play All". Thank you in advance.

I assume you already have your petal design replicated with a Circle arrangement and the Align Angle option checked. You will also need to check 3D.
Go to Behaviors > Replicator and add the Sequence Replicator.
In Sequence Replicator: Add > Position. Dial down the Position pane and ramp up the Z parameter (you need to go up to at least 2400 to start behind the default camera view.) Set the Sequencing to From and the Unit Size to Object. Adjust the Spread to taste. You can change the direction of the sequence by going back into the Replicator inspector and selecting Build Style: Counter Clockwise from the dropdown menu.

Having Images load one after the other

Hi, i am currently creating a tetris game and was wondering how exactly i would go about creating some sort of a timer that would allow me to have my images load one after the other and fall at specified interval. I appreciate any help. here is my code:

Can you clarify what you mean by Images loading one after the other? For this, you might want to take a look at MediaTracker

Clearing 'Everything' from the search history fixes the problem temporarily, for a very short time. I've been using Firefox for years and I've only recently been getting this problem. It's been happening on both Windows 7 and 8. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but this problem has only arose since I upgraded to fiber power broadband, 100Mb.
