allocates values that are input at an upper level to lower-level members
@MDALLOCATE
allocates values from a member to from a cross-dimensional member, or from a value across multiple dimensions.

your previous months closing stock becomes opening stock for current month. Try the infostructure S039,this holds the closing stock of each month. You can populate this infostructure with program rmbs039. create a generic data source on this and populate opening and closing stock for each month.

How to load init for non cumulative values?

anyone here, who can tell me how to load initial amounts from DSO to non cumulative values in InfoCubes?

you load initial of load as you do in the normal case only thing you have to keep in mind that before loading opening balance you have to UNCLICK NO MARKER UPDATE from the infocube and compress the request ASAP as it will greatly effect your query performance.

CO-PC: Cost Object Controlling :0PC_C01 Having Info sources 0CO_PC_02,0CO_PC_01 when I am scheduling Infopak it is having update option only " Full Update".
I have done the FULLUPDATE. But the problem is now I have to do "Delta Update"
What i have to do ?
how I will load delta into Infocube?

if its not 7 you can try this...
Do you have the option to dona n Init in your infopackage?
If yea, run an init. Only if you have have an init for a target, does the new infopackage (which you will hve to make to do a delta after an init), gives you an option of a delta.

How to load member for "sales same date last year"?

I need to load a member in Measures named "PriorYrSales" with "Sales" for the same date last year as today's date. Thus, retrieving "PriorYrSales" for 2/10/2002 would return the sales amount for 2/10/2001. Since days roll-up to months, quarters, years, it would be easy to determine how we're doing compared to the same time last year.Data is loaded each day for a date range from the current date and the preceding x days. Perhaps I wasn't clear in the first post. The intent is to easily compare sales for a current date/period to the same date/period last year. Neither Excel nor Analyzer provide a method that I'm aware of to retrieve data as follows:-------------------------------------Period Sales PriorYrSales Diff4/15/2002 1,000 900 100-------------------------------------(900 is sales for 4/15/2001)(100 is the calculated difference.)Nor can I do this:-------------------------------------Period Sales Period Sales Diff4/15/2002 1,000 4/15/2001 900 100-------------------------------------What Excel and Analyzer do allow is:-------------------------------------Period Sales 4/15/2002 1,0004/15/2001 900-------------------------------------I readily acknowledge that the data is redundant but I can't think of another option that will allow Excel and Analyzer to easily retrieve the values for comparison. If the PriorYrSales member can be loaded then the users can compare years, quarters, months and days quite easily.My challenge is knowing how use a calc script to derive prior year dates that correspond to current year dates. How to load text for Z-objects?

I am implementinh HR for BI reports.
Now in some of the Zobjects created for details like bank details(for acoount number etc) i am getting only the key values from the attribute datasource.
How to get the releated text values.
do i need to create a text datasource? How to link the text and attributes , so that we can load text and see it in reporting as well

Generally, you dont always need to create a text datasource if it is not relevant. Just uncheck the checkbox "With text" in the InfoObject itself. Otherwise if you need a text datasource, you need to identify the text table in source system or identify the table where the key value (and maybe other attributs) is existing and you can read the text. Then create a generic text datasource (if no standard text datasource is available).
But your question seems to be, how to get more attribute and text in the same ZObject? Just adding attribut objects you need and match them with the attribut datasource. You can also use a charateristic field here for the text field. The text field will be a attribut of that ZOBJECT and you dont need to create an extra text datasource.

How to load classes for a particular package

I have a package name say com.test
i need to get the names of all the classes starting with "Test" under this package. Also, i need to get the names of all the methods starting with "test" in each of these classes.

i am developing a testing framework for our web applications. all our applications wd require to have com.test as the package which will contain all the JUnit test classes. the package name (com.test) will be provided by the tester thru a properties file. my framework will load all the classes (and also fetch the method names starting with "test" in those classes) and display them on a gui in a html form. the tester will just select the junit test cases he wants to run and my framework will expose this service thru a servlet. the servlet will then invoke all the methods selected by the tester via reflection.
if the way i want to do it is not possible cd u please suggest any alternatives ?

Now i want to Load this data using API/Interface, any one has any idea which API's are present or any way of doing this.

I have tried winparrot for such loading and now i have a lot of macro to load data from Excel to forms or to any browser.
I do not have a macro for your needs nevertheless it should be very easy to make it.
You can watch on youtube its tutorials for Oracle EBS.

I assume that you are using the standard extractor 0MAT_ST_LOC_ATTR, but the field that you are looking for (LABST) does not exist in any standard extractor. You will have to create an extractor or enhance the generic one.

How to load data for attribute of Master Data Object from PSA

Hi Experts,
I have a Master data Object, 0Equipment.
I loaded data to PSA from R/3.
I am able to see records for Zxxx field in PSA.
I have added a new mapping object Zxxx in BW.
But, when I loaded the data from PSA to Master Data Object, 0Equipment,
I am not able to see records for Zxxx which is an attribute of 0Equipment.
I do see the records for rest of the attributes of this Master Data Object.
I tried deleting and reloading the data
and treid to check attribute change run
Please let me know if I am missing something in loading the Master Data from PSA

I checked all the records in Maintain Master Data and did set the Zxxx Not Equal To Blank.
No data for Zxxx InfoObject, eventhough there is data in the corresponding field in PSA.
I did 1:1 mapping.

I need to replicate data from SchemaA to SchemaB.
SchemaB has 3 extra columns. Two are varchar2 type and other is Integer type.
I need to replicate the data from SchemaA to SchemaB in the same database.
When ever i inserted the data in SchemaA, The extra columns should be populated with some default data.
And if we did any update on SchemaA then the extra columns on SchemaB should be populated with other Data.
I wrote some DML_HANDLER but it always populating same data.
I dont know ow to handle this type of situation.

Just need to load Positions for legacy MM deposits

Just need some guidance for initializing only positions in SAP-TR.
Only initializing the balance position, none of the previous interests will be brought over.

Hi Rahul,
I would say there are at least a few methods how to load Positions for legacy OTC instruments, depending on their complexity:
if complexity of your open deals - the ones which starts at some point before the migration date and matures after - is rather low, you can input them as original deals with all parameters - including interest flows - in this way you secure that you have no deviations between your SAP entries and previous system - either you enter them manually or use the existing BAPIs to import the existing OTC transactions automatically. Then, you have to transfer all flows prior to the migration date to the status 'Posted', without actually generating documents in the general ledger - to do this, use a transaction 'TBB1_LC - Flag Flows as Posted';
if your opens deals are rather complex - lots of nominal changes, like repayments, etc. - it might make sense to enter a deal as from chosen period to generate e.g. expected interest flow - so you define only balance position from certain date. You would still need to use the transaction TBB1_LC to to transfer all flows prior to the migration date to the status 'Posted'.

IDoc (Intermediate Document) metadata comprises structures for the corresponding IDoc types that are required by the IDoc adapter to convert these IDocs to IDoc XML format and the other way around.
Using an RFC connection, metadata of this type can be either called directly at runtime or loaded to the Integration Server beforehand.
The system containing the metadata is either the sender or receiver SAP system or, if the sender or receiver system is a subsystem, the SAP reference system where the metadata is saved.
You can display metadata that has already been loaded, or if you are upgrading the application system then you can delete the metadata and reload it.
Prerequisites
To access the metadata in the sender system, you must establish an RFC connection to this system using the port maintenance in the IDoc adapter.
Procedure
       1.      To find out what metadata has already been loaded, call the transaction Metadata Overview for IDoc Adapter (IDX2).
The system displays a screen with the directory of all systems connected with the IDoc adapter (including a description) for which metadata has already been loaded. Choose Port Maintenance in IDoc Adapter () to call the corresponding transaction and to create additional ports.
       2.      Expand the individual systems to display the IDoc types and clients including a description for each system. The system displays the metadata for each connected system for which metadata has already been loaded.
       3.      To apply the metadata structure loaded from a particular system to another system (for example, to an SAP reference system), select the link to the corresponding IDoc type and choose Copy ().
The system displays a dialog box in which you can copy the IDoc type description to another system (Target Port).
       4.      To delete metadata that has already been loaded, select the link to the corresponding IDoc type and choose Delete ().
The system asks you if you really want to delete the selected structure.
       5.      To delete the metadata structure, choose Yes.
       6.      To load additional metadata, choose Create ().
The system displays a dialog box where you can enter the IDoc Type including Extension and the system (Source Port).
       7.      Make the required entries and choose Continue.
The new structure is inserted in the tree structure as follows:
¡        If the structure originates from a system from which metadata has already been loaded, it is inserted below the structures already loaded from this system.
¡        If the structure originates from a system from which no metadata has already been loaded, it is inserted together with the system below the already listed systems.
       8.      To display details about a metadata structure that has already been loaded, choose the link to the corresponding IDoc type. To display this structure in detail, choose Display (). The system displays the structure in a hierarchy tree.
       9.      To display the corresponding system (port) and the basic type from the detailed display, choose Header Information ().
   10.      To display the segment versions of all segment types in the structure, choose All Segment Versions ().
   11.      Select a segment to display all its fields.

How to set Proxy for IE 8.0 on doing Load Testing with OATS 12.1.0.2

I have tried adding proxy server by adding the address to "Localhost" and Port as 8080.
but nothing is working out, for recording an EBS instance its working fine ,no need to setup anything in the OATS tool, eg, Proxy settings.
But when it comes to BPM with ADF technology , the recorder is not starting the Recording even the pointer navigation also not wokring.
So, is there way to record the ADF applications in BPM ?

Thing is do we need to add the proxy server here?, as for doing Load testing on EBS application,there is no need of adding a proxy server,
So the same way it should work with the ADF application too, but its not showing any mouse pointer in the Browser tool bar or recording
the navigation.
Point to be noted is, we need to connect to VPN in order to access the Application.
is it because of VPN connection that its not recording?
But while doing the functional testing I didn't face anyproblem though as its recording everything even if we are connected to VPN.
In Functional testing also i found ,all the input fields where we add the "username" or any input data via a "text box" the tool is not able to
record the field information along with the input we enter.
If you could let me know ,how to do a Load testing for ADF application using BPM , it would be helpful
