Once the MacBook Pro was initiated as iOS or maverick os can a windows os be loaded?

If you want to be able to run Windows programs at the same time as Mac programs, install virtualization software like Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion, or VirtualBox, and then install Windows in that.
If you want to run the entire Mac as a Windows PC (you choose whether to start up the computer into either OS X or Windows), use Apple Boot Camp.
Both work well.

Apples BootCamp lets you run Windows on the 'Nativ' (real) hardware your Mac has.
Virtualization app like Parallels, VMWare Fusion or VirtualBox runs Windows in a 'virtualized environment' (emulated) hardware.
While these Virtualization apps are great for running the typical Office programs, they are not best suited for any programs, that need direct hardware access like games for example.
Crossover Mac is an app which allows to run certain Windows programs without having to have/buy a Windows License/CD/DVD to install Windows.

Recently I bought a MBP and I'am going to install windows on it because of my job. I have a problem with bootcamp assistant: I have downloaded the bootcamp drivers but when I am creating the setup disk it automatically chooses to download the drivers again! What should I do?

i have done this steps but when i boot the usb key it freezes in the first screen ( selecting languages ) ! but i believe it doesn't freezes, it is because it doesn't recognize my hardware. when i was installing win8 there were no problems like this!

Lion installs both itself and a Recovery HD. Booting the latter is how you reinstall Lion or fix things with Disk Utility. So, what you can do is this:
Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.
Now, this will completely erase the volume in which Lion is currently installed. When you then reinstall Lion it will be like coming fresh from the factory ready for a new user. I hope this is a working solution for your problem. If it is not, then I would encourage you to create a new topic more relevant to your needs which will solicit others to offer help. For the last 4 days, I cannot get facebook to load on my Macbook Pro. The only problem I can see is that I cleared the cookies and cleared the browsing history around the same time. I can see the Zynga cookies are still in place but the games won't load once I can actually get facebook to load. Sometimes other websites won't load either. I am at a loss.
So, does anyone have an idea on how to get Safari to actually work so that I can get back on facebook?

How do I get my MacBook Pro to recognize my Toshiba external hard drive? I'm working on transferring my music from our home computer to my new laptop and I already got all my music onto the hard drive but now, when I plug it into my MacBook Pro, it doesn't recognize it. There isn't an icon that pops up and nothing happens at all. The blue light on the hard drive that indicates that it knows it is plugged into something comes up but that's about it. Someone told me I might have to "format" it but I don't know what that means and I don't know how to do it. I just want to get my music from the hard drive to my laptop so please help!

If DU cannot see it then the preferences is just an academic exercise.
If this is a USB drive then as mentioned above you may need a powered USB hub since there may not be enough power from the USB to run the drive. What else do you have plugged into the USB ports? If there's some stuff you can unplug it then do it and see if your drive mounts.
What do you mean from a Windows machine? It's a Toshiba hard drive and I put my music on it from my home computer that's a Mac...
Which is all I wanted to know, i.e., whether the drive came from a Winows machine. So it's been formatted and created on a mac. Therefore it should mount on this other mac machine. So it most likely is a power problem.

I had an Epson Artisan printer, got an Epson Workforce WF-3640 new in Jan, hardly used because I cannot make it do what I want it to do. Wireless connection is good.
With the MacBook Pro, the interface with the Epson printers is not what it used to be on the G4: no ColorSync, no 2-sided, no thick paper, none of those kinds of instructions appear on the generic printer control panel. Which by the way, bears NO resemblance to the Epson manual screenshots, and the instructions in the Epson manual are useless.

Printer has 2 compartments. Top compartment #1 for all types paper.
Bottom compartment #2 for plain paper only.
I load glossy photo paper in #1, it prints plain paper from #2 even though I entered instructions on the control panel on the printer.

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.

ok - since you'll be sharing it with a PC - connect it to your windows pc - then format from there - instead of NTFS format - choose exFAT.
