How to lock all transactions documents?

hi experts,
for example, once I have done all reports in January, I don't want anybody to add, change or delete any marketing documents includ A/R, A/P, production order, inventory transfer....in January.
is there any fast way to lock a period of SAP usage?

Open Administration -> System Initialization -> General Settings -> Posting Periods
Select the Posting period which you want to Lock.
Now this opens the 'Posting Period' Window.
Here you find fields like Active and locked
· Active u2013 The purpose of this field is to allow or to block working with sales documents. The default value for this field is Yes. When the value is Yes (and the period is not locked), you will be able to add all types of records: sales documents, purchasing documents, inventory transactions, manual journal entries, Master Data, reconciliations etc.
If you choose No (and the period is not locked), no sales documents can be created in SAP Business One during this period. This option can be used in order to block users from adding new sales documents after the posting period has ended. However, you will still be able to add purchasing documents, inventory transactions, manual journal entries, Master Data, reconciliations and so on.
· Locked u2013 The default value for this field is No. When the value is No (and the period is active), you will be able to add all types of records: sales documents, purchasing documents, inventory transactions, manual journal entries, Master Data, reconciliations etc.
If you choose Yes (after the posting period was created), no documents or transactions can be added in SAP Business One during this period (sales documents, purchasing documents, inventory transactions and manual journal entries). This option can be used in order to block users from adding any documents and transactions after a posting period has ended.

Open a Finder window then control click Documents in the Sidebar on the left then click Get Info.
In the Get Info panel click the lock icon bottom right corner.
You will be prompted for your admin password to proceed.
That should unlock your Documents folder.

I am currently using the fcode ENQUEUE_E_TABLE. The function works as once the transaction in opened, another cannot access it.
However, I have two modes in my transction (Display and Edit). What I need to do is If another user has already opened the transaction, the other user can still access the transaction but cannot access the edit mode.
 2. VERY minor tab cont. help 
I noticed in a table control is being used in a transction you can resize a colunm. How do you disable this ?
and how do you resize the horizontal scroll bar so that you can limit scrolling upto the point where there are field columns?

Yes, I just want to cover up all the pages for those particular area of document numbers.
Nothing sensitive about it. I just want to show the correct document numbers on all pages in print out.
So, I wanted to cover up by comments, but commenting on each page will be difficult. So, I wanted to comment the same on all pages.

How to find all Hypercard documents in Leopard?

When I upgraded to a Mac Pro from a G4, I lost my ability to work with Hypercard (I do use Sheepshaver occasionally, but it crashes frequently). I recently purchased Supercard, in order to be able to continue to work in a Hypercard-like environment (and it works great), but I have to convert my Hypercard projects and stacks to Supercard format.
I have several old Hypercard documents scattered throughout my mac's hard drives, and want to be able to find them all using Leopard's find abilities. However, I have discovered that (unlike in Tiger), Leopard cannot search by Creator Code or file Type Code, only by "Kind". When I try to search by "Kind" for "HyperCard" or "Hypercard Document" (Leopard displays the latter in the Get Info box for a Hypercard stack), I get no results. It works for "Microsoft Excel", but not for Hypercard.
None of content, size or date help work; there is a wide range of stack sizes and date (I was working on various projects from the late 1980s through last year). Content varies widely as well.
Any ideas on how I can find all Hypercard stacks on my drives? Perhaps there is a 3rd party tool that allows me to do this (I've searched with no luck on this front yet).

I tried this and it works as you describe, but not all Hypercard documents appear to have the same content type, as described by Terminal.
The first Hypercard stack I tried came up with the content type:
dyn.ah62d4rv4ge8xe6u
The search only found the one result with this type (the same stack).
Then I tried using the Hypercard "Home" stack (a pretty central stack to Hypercard's functioning), and it had a content type:
dyn.ah62d4rv4gk8zgzcbmq
(note the type is longer with a different ending; only the first 14 characters are identical to the first stack).
This search found 317 items, which is likely most of my Hypercard documents, so this is some progress.
Unfortunately I know that since the first stack I tried had a different content type, there may be other Hypercard stacks on my hard drive with yet a different content type, not caught by these searches.
I then tried a wildcard, thinking that if only the first 14 characters of the content type are identical, I focus my search on those characters only, using asterisk as a wildcard at the end. So I searched for:
dyn.ah62d4rv4g*
The result was 526 hits, including many documents that are not Hypercard. So this doesn't help.
It appears that the content type is not exactly specific to a the File Type or Creator Code, so while I can find many of a particular document, this method cannot find all of one type of document.
I tried searching using raw query by the Terminal-reported File Type Code (kMDItemFSTypeCode= "STAK"), but this revealed no items.
Perhaps I should suggest this to Apple as a bug fix for Leopard, to restore the ability to search by Type Code or Creator Code as a choice in the OS Find service? I know these codes are no longer relied on as much as they used to be, since now the OS uses extension as much as anything else, but there is lots of older software that still run in Leopard that use Type and Creator codes. And Apple still recommends registering the creator code of any new software.

You may have to elaborate a little more on what you are trying to accomplish. Let me add what I can based on my experience. When a document is posted in a GL account for instance, the balance and activity on the acccount can be seen and displayed by using FS10N or FBL3N respectively. If documents are reversed (posting opposite entries) the original balance will return to zero but even though the balance is zero, the activity of both the original and the reversal documents can still be displayed using FS10N (and double clicking the period to see the activity) or FBL3N.
Or, are you asking for a way to display all revesal documents created?

Have you tried BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL for fetching components details. Actually we have used it to get some other details.

How to lock all else?

Many moons ago -- back in Illustrator 6 -- you used to be able to lock everything *except* your current selection with a simple command (I believe it used to be opt-command-2). Very useful.
Now i'm using Illustrator CS5, and I can't find this command anymore. I see you can achieve this result as a two-step process (select inverse, lock). But I wonder if the one-step operation still exists somewhere. The 'lock' command has some options ('other layers' 'all artwork above'). But it doesn't seem to have an 'lock all other objects' option.
Am I missing something? Tried searching archive, perhaps I am feeble, but i didn't find the answer thus far, perhaps someone could toss me a clue.

"Shift-Option-Cmd-2" to lock all but selected artwork.
"Option-Cmd-2" to unlock all artwork.
"Shift-Option-Cmd-3" to hide all but selected artwork.
"Option-Cmd-3" to un-hide all artwork.
Thankfully it's still around. Don't know why they aren't in the pull-down menus. Of course I don't look at the menus very often anyway.

How to access all open documents' ReadImageDocumentDesc?

Hi everyone,
I want to get access to the ReadImageDocumentDesc for all currently opened documents from an Export plugin, so I can give users the choice which of the documents to export. Is this possible?
I expected to have access to all documents via the "next" field of "ReadImageDocumentDesc *documentInfo" in form of a linked list, but that field appears ti be always NULL. Or isn't it for certain types of plugins?
If it isn't possible, are there other tricks I could use to accomplish my goal? Is a stack renderer plugin an option perhaps?
Any kind of help is highly appreciated.

CNMM transaction is for PROMAN.
To get the PRs against a project please try ME5J transaction. This will provide you with all the Purchase Requisitions against a project.
To get the POs against a project you may try ME2J.

I belive, we can Recover the DB at an OLD Time using Point in Time Recovery.
I haven't tried this so far, Let we take this opportunity to test the same.
1. Take a Defrential BackUp of you DB for TransLog.
2. Take a Full Set Backup.
3. Restore a very old DB (Even u don't do any setting on that), selecting the option Leave for Recovery.
4. Restore the TransLog on the DB selecting Files on Restore Option.
5. Select a Particular time example : 2 days before and say restore
Check it...
