How to lock the keypad with a code in Nokia E5?

Hi,
I have recently purchased E5 and even after entering lock code I am unable to lock my phone.
If anybody knows how to then please tell me too?

The lock code protects your device against unauthorised use. The preset code is 12345.
To lock the device, in the home screen, press the power key (red key), and select Lock phone.
To unlock your device, select Unlock > OK, enter the lock code, and select OK.
To change the lock code, press : Menu => Ctrl. panel => Settings => General > Security => Phone and SIM card => lock code.
Enter the old code (if it was presetted than "enter 12345") and then the new code twice.

You can set a passcode to be requied to unlock the iPad via Settings > General > Passcode Lock. In terms of locking the actual screen whilst using an app, then that isn't currently possible, but with iOS 6 in the Autumn there will be a new 'accessibility' feature (from here) which will allow you :

How to Lock the master data. R/3 Conflict ESS

Dear Gurus,
Please guide me how to lock the master data for a nos of days(say 7 days).
Recently we had encountered an issue, related to ESS. While Uploading the Time data through t-code: PT60, our core team encountered a problem, that such and such employee number is locked.
While checking, they identified it, system shown error against those employees, who are accessing their ESS. We check and came to know they are accessing the master data by changing their personal record i.e. address.
Do we have any other provision to lock the master data without setting the control record to release for payroll.
Please help .

Create a custom transaction involving a custom views of table T7XSSSERSRV with the following field for each service
"V_T7XSSSERSRV-ISDISABLED"
when HR wants to lock it, the will enter this table and check this field.
this will disable the servcies in the front end.
Once the 7 days are over, HR will uncheck this field. this will re-enable the services in the froint end.

Hi All, i am using 10.2.0.1.0 version of oracle.
I have gathered freuency histogram manually on one of my column of a table to provide more information to optimizer for better calculation of cardinality.
Now i have my weekend job runs for gathering stats on schema level with method_opt as 'For all column size repeat'. But i dont want the stats of above column to be overridden by the stats job. I dont want to lock the statistics of whole table, but i just want to lock the column level stats for this table.
how the above can be achieved?

8900 Lock button used to LOCK the keypad ie. not UNLOCK IT

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm SURE that my BB 8900 with v4.6.1.133 (Platform 4.2.0.85) USED TO LET ME LOCK the keypad permanently. Ie. I could only unlock by then pressing: * then the Green CALL button. I now find that that LOCK button is a toggle function - it now toggles between LOCK and UNLOCK.
This is a daft and unhelpful function key.
My BB gets accidentally UNLOCKED nearly every time I put in my pocket.
I had previously programmed my right-hand convenience-key to act as a 2nd LOCK button - as it would often go into camera mode accidentaly as I pulled the BB out of my pocket. That convenience key still works as a LOCK button (only) ie. it doesn't toggle between LOCK and UNLOCK.
Please can someone help advise me how I can stop the top LOCK button acting as a toggle function switch. I want it to LOCK it, not to LOCK IT then UNLOCK IT Thanks if you can help.

I am in the same boat, and you are correct, the 8900 lock button used to LOCK it, not slightly disable it temporarly. I just realized how many pocket calls I have been making lately and am pretty unhappy. You are not pressing the standby button, as someone suggested, and this is a recent change. I hope someone else can find a fix, I am going to keep looking and will post if I find it.

My iPhone 3GS keeps freezing when I lock the keypad

I have a 32gb iPhone 3gs and it regularly freezes when I lock the keypad. It sometimes comes unfrozen after a while (usually a long time) and sometimes doesn't come back at all and I have to reset it. I find that it consistently and nearly 100% of the time freezes when I lock the keypad when I have accidentally left the wifi connection on. Can somebody please help me and tell me how I can fix this issue? when the wi-fi is off it doesn't usually freeze, the problems mainly when the wifi is active. Thanks guys

Try restoring the phone. Do a backup of your data on iTunes by syncing it to iTunes (or right click your iPhone and click backup) and then do a restore by clicking "restore". Do not disconnect the iPhone until it is done. After it is done, iTunes will prompt you if you want to restore from backup. Click your backup and let it run through it's process again. See how that works. It just could be a software issue.

Keep looking it can be done. I have a folder on my hard drive that requires a password everytime I try to open it. I found how to do this in an old "Mac OS - The missing manual" but don't remember off the top of my head how I did it. I remember you have to partition a portion of the hard drive, I think I did like 10 Gig of my 1 Teribite external drive and then you give it a name and make up a password. The password is NOT changeable and if you lose it you can't get back in that folder. It appears as a standard folder but needs a password to open it.
