How to maintain space between value and base unit of measure in sapscript

Hi Guys,
I am working on an upgradtion project, i have problem like while upgrading from 4.6b to 5.0. i need to main a space between value and base unit of measure. can anyone letme know how to maintain in the form. I mean in sapscript.

There are a couple of ways to handle this, if you need a bigger space between, you can use tabs in the paragraph format. Or you can just write the space in between the fields like so.

Can you post a screenshot?
This can be achieved if you are repeating column headers on each page. Just change row height of header and align text to bottom, and make sure there is no space between Page Header and Tablix.

hi,
we can give space in the smartform in the same way as in the scripts with two commas one space can be given.
when u click on the text in the window ,
there in the general attributes at the left hand side u can find a small icon for editor in that u can define the spaces with the variable to be printed in &var&.

Views and Base unit of Measure is not coming in Chines Lang

I log-In Chines Server, during MM01 the views are coming in English language instead of chines.
and during PO creation The Base unit of Measure is not Coming in Chines Language it is displaying Some number??
I have maintained Source and taget lag in CUnI..but still Im getting this problem..
How to solve this plz help..

Please maintain the translation in the Following Configuration
Logistics - General->Material Master->Configuring the Material Master->Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence
Select the Specific Screen Sequence & Maintain the languages
Similarly please maintain the Translations in the Transaction CUNI for the Base UOM in respective languages
I hope currently in your system only Language EN is maintained

Material Master MATMAS IDOC and base unit of measurement

Hi
We are using SAP standard material master IDOC type MATMAS05 to trigger IDOC. Our material master is having base unit of measure as "G". We are not using ISO unit of measurement. But Material master IDOC, segment E1MARM is populating base unit of meaurement (MEINS) as "GRM".
Any idea why IDOC is picking ISO unit of measurement instead of material master base unit of measurement.
Any idea how to send base unit of measurememt as "G" instead of "GRM" in DOC segment.

There are ISO codes for country keys, currency keys, units of measure and shipping instructions. According to SAP design guidelines, you should use ISO codes for an IDoc if they are available. When you set up the IDoc, the SAP codes have to be replaced by ISO codes.

How to introduce Space between currencyCode and number using convertNumber in adf

We are trying to use the af:convertNumber tag inside the af:outputText to apply the currency code in front of the number.
We would like to introduce a space between currency code and number by using the currency converter.
Sample code snippet is as below.
Eg.
<af:outputText value="#{pageFlowScope.myManagedBean.annualSalary}" id="aot8">
<af:convertNumber type="currency" currencyCode="USD"/>
</af:outputText>
Output shown from the above code is as: USD11,234.00
but we want to display as : USD 11,234.00(space after USD)
Please suggest us as what we can use to achieve the above requirements.
we are using jdev version 11.1.1.5.0 on windows 7 OS.

if we use value="USD #{pageFlowScope.myManagedBean.annualSalary}", other default formats for the number will not work, it will treat as a string, even if we pass the number/bigdecimal type to the outputtext.
And if we write two separate output texts that will be bad way, to achieve this, as we have many fields to apply the same in our application.
Looking for better options on this.

How to maintain gap between table and graph in a report

I have a report in which a graph is placed below a table and data in the table gets increased with time , then how to maintain the gap as constant between table and the graph ?? Like i have 50 rows in a table and then next day 10 rows are added but then i want maintain same gap between the table and graph???

How To Reduce Space Between Text and Image

I am trying to wrap text around an irregular shape in InDesign CS4. I used the pen tool to mark the outline of the image, cut the image, then selected the pen outline and pasted the image into the outline. With the TextWrap settings set to what is in this dialog box, text wrapping appears fine on the right-hand side, but has too much space on the left-hand side.
If I try to reduce the space even further, it just affects the right-hand side of the image, not the left:
It is doing the same thing for all of my irregularly-shaped images where I try to wrap text. How can I reduce the whitespace to the left of the image?

Couple more things you can try to improve this:
From Control panel menu choose Justification and try using the following settings:

Poor connection between handset and base unit

One of my three BT graphite phones, which I've now had for just about one month, is not reconnecting with the mains supply consistently when I put it back on it's cradle, the red light flickers or doesn't come on. This means that it has usually got little or no charge. I calllled the helpline and after being passed from one person to the next over a one and a half hour period I was finally told that I could not arrange for replacement over the phone as I had bought it through BT.com and needed to arrange replacement online. A futher half hour later I can still find no way of doing this online.
I completely regret not having simply picked up a set of phones form tesco, I could have returned them without a problem at the store in less than 20 minutes. The customer service that I have had so far has been perfectly polite but utterly ineffective and even the delivery of the original order (which also included a router) was messed up twice!
Please can I have contact details for the right people to sort this out.

Relation between UOM and alternate unit of measure

I have a reqmnt whereby the conversion factor between base UOM and alternate UOM varies every day of purchase. Now the conversion factors are uually kept fixed in material master. How to tackle this scenario.

According to your requirment the updation of UOM and Alternate Uom must be coming from some where
Prepare a custome table by means it linked wth external source(i.e where you get the updated varies)
And whenever you call that material , the converstion will pick from that table for particular date

Base Unit of Measure - Day & Hours

Hi All,
We are facing a unique problem. We created a material with Base Unit of Measure as "DAY". At the time of MIGO, the FI Document also got posted with Quanity 5.00 and Base Unit of Measure as "DAY".
However, when we go to the Report Painter Reports in Controlling and see the Quantity; we see 120.00 Hours rather than 5.00 Days and we are unable to figure out because of which settings, system is behaving like this.
We checked the configuration of Unit of Measure through T. Code CUNI and found everything OK.
Kindly request you to throw some light on this.

i day = 24hrs, system has calculated the 5days and converted into 120hrs.
please check the Order unit used in PO
also check the stock keeping unit/issue unit in master
also check the info record

Try these approaches and see if that works.
1. In the Header Section, you header footer shell and add a Header Portlet. This Header Portlet associated JSP file will have all static content in the top section. In the bottom section, add these 3 links say to right hand corner. Show these links only based on some request property like isHome. Now for the main book having Home and other page associate a BackingFile. Within this backing file in the lifecycle methods like preRender or handlePostBack, get instance of BookManager and all the pages and see which page is Active. For that active page check its page definition label which will be always unique. IF the page def label is like home_page_def (this is page def label you give for home page), then set the key value in the request property like isHome=true. By only doubt is after Book backingfile is triggered, the header has to be reloaded, because only then it can pick up the request attributes.
2. Create a brand new portlet like HomePageLinks portlet. Make its Title Property Not Visible, and other user interface properties like NoBorder, NoTheme etc. The associated JSP will have the 3 links you mentioned right aligned. You can use css styles to make it right etc. Now drop this portlet in the Header Shell area. You already have HeaderPortlet in the top, below that you will have this HomePageLinks portlet. Now associate a backing file for this Portlet to show, only if the Books current active page is Home page by comparing the def label etc as mentioned above.
In both scenarios, only concern is when we click on different Pages, the entire portal has to be rendered right from the Top Header. Only then the backing file will set the key, and the HomePageLinks portlet can show or hide accordingly.
Try firing an Event when the Home page is clicked. This listener for this Event can be the HomePageLinks Portlet. I guess Event mechanism should work irrespective of where the portlet is placed. In the event listner, see if you can show/hide this portlet.
The only challenge is Header section needs to reloaded everytime you click on a Tab.
Start putting some backing files and System.out.printlns to see if the Header section gets reloaded on click on any Tabs.
These are just my thoughts over the top of my head. Other forum users can have better alternatives or a different version of above approaches.

How far exactly are you supposed to be positioned from your speakers in order to read and hear correctly. Most producers would comment that people produce in all types of environments, headphone close rang monitors, far range monitors. But what exactly is the ideal space between you and your speakers? To look into this issued even more closely each speaker is designed differently, there for you cannot look at them all equal as far as performance is concerned.

I got mine at about 1-meter to 1.5-meters at my home studio
at the big studio i've got two pairs of monitors in there and they both 1.5 meters
other people will go as far as 3-meters, in your case get abit closer as you said before that your room is not acoustically treated there for sitting too far away will give you a mix of 50% of the speakers and 50% of the room
but you need 80% of the speakers and 20% of the room
ps: don't just leave this topic alone and start another one, because its annoying when people don't if you've been help or not and they keep trying to help you

The space is caused by the default margin in your H1 tag. As such, you need to define a style for H1:

You can add padding to move the H1 away from the edges of the surrounding DIV.
EDIT:// An after thought. If you are "Playing with fluid layouts", you might want to consider not using heights and/or set the heights/widths in % values.
