How to maintain the resolution of vi in programatically using labview 8.0

Hi friends,
Using Labview 8.0 i created an exe of application. every vis i set the vi properties just like the attachment below. after installing the exe in a higher resolution monitor, when i open a sub window - 1st time its coming correctly but after stoping that sub window , if i open that sub window once again than the resolution(size of the vi) of the window is changing.
in my application i want to take the print out of that window , 1st time print out is coming correctly but due to this resolution problem next time it taking 2 pages for printing.
please help me for that.

My first thought would be to remove the "Scale all objects ... " vi property. I have been using LabVIEW for 10+ years, and I always found that function to work very poorly. I never use it. At least you could try removing that setting and see if your problem goes away.

There may be better ways, but the method I used was to convert amplitude & angle to rectangular coords, then create an XY plot from (0,0) to those coords. (Or 1 plot for Voltage, 1 for Current, etc.) I would then just keep updating this plot and feeding it to the graph in a loop. The result was a slightly choppy looking but useable animation of the phase vectors.

This behavior, and the ugly graph cursor display introduced in labview 8.0 is the two properties I dislike most in labview. The problem with your font is that Labview scales the font size depending on the settings selected in Display properties->Appearance->Font Size. If the defualt fonts are used. You find these windows settings by right clicking in the on an icon free area in your desktop. The font scaling will apply to the standard font types in Labview like application, system, and dialog. If the font settings are different in your development computer and the target computer, the front panel may look god on your computer, and totally messed up on the target computer. This will also occur if you have used some fancy fonts not installed on the target computer.
One solution to this problem modify the Labview ini file so both the target and development system have the same font settings. You will find more about it here http://wiki.lavag.org/LabVIEW_configuration_file/Fonts . A more cumbersome method is to not use application, system, or the dialog font style. If you are distributing an exe application you may create your own labview.ini file with the correct settings for the standard Labview fonts, and include it in the installer. Anyway I can not see why this "bug" not has been fixed. It has been like this at least since Labview 3.1. If you write a Word document you certainly not want the font size to change depending on the windows settings.
Here is the what I have inserted in the Labview ini on my computer. Is also include this as custom ini file then I make applications. The labview.ini is pure text

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted

How does one figure up the updata rate? Is LV Real Time needed to update 32 channels within the microsecond range?

You shouldn't need to use LabVIEW Real Time to achieve 32 channel updates within the microsecond range. The 6723 manual provides two specifications for maximum update rate on 32 channels. If you are using the onboard FIFO = 204 kS/s. Using Host PC Memory = 45 kS/s. Either of these update rates should be fine for you. These numbers can change however depending on bus activity.

How to measure the shift between two resembling images using LabVIEW?

I am running an experiment in which I use a microscope to map the surface of a laboratory sample and due to some small drift consecutive image appear displaced. In order to correct for the drift I need to first measure it, which I can do by recording two images and finding the shift between. Because of some small random noise which adds to each image, the features in two consecutive images are not completely identical, but they do resemble each other very well. Do you have any suggestions on how to measure this image shift (in both x and y) using LabVIEW (I have version 8.20)?

Hi, thanks for the answer, I´ll try to see if a 2D cross-correlation will work. I also attached two typical images with a small shift between them (there is also some change in background between them, but I belive the shift should still be measurable).

How to locate .exe file in pc harddisk programatically using labview same as search option in Windows.

Hi,
I want locate a file which is a third party exe file.
For this purpose i should know programatically how many drives are present on the PC Hard Disk.
I made a VI to fetch the information about how many drives or partitions are present on the harddisk.
I am able to find that information and are able to locate each & every folder available on each drive.
But i am not able to that function in LabvIEW which can solve my problem and search for that .exe file for its existance on the PC disk.
THe idea is same as the search files and folders option in windows.
Can anybody help me in this problem.

Use the "recursive file list.vi" under the "file io->Advanced file options" pallete.

How to maintained the Text language for CKF keyfigure

Dear All,
Please let me know how to maintained the text language for CKF I am using only keyfigures in CKF.
Issue is text is not showing in Spain language when user exeuted the report (longin Spain) for CKF keyfigures .
As per report design there are formuals and direct keyfigures and CKF has defined and we keep it under in Row struture in the report.
After exeuted the report (Login Spain)Text has converted in all languages along with spain except for CKF keyfigures.
Issue in text CKF's:
There is a main CKF (Cost) under this again we defined two sub CKF's those are total cost and average cost. We able to see the text in Spain language for Main CKF(cost) and also cheked in RSZELTTXT(Texts of reporting component elements) for the same.
We can able to see the text in all languages for main CKF(cost) and enteries are there in RSZELTTXT table.
We can see only the text in english for total cost and average cost and also enteris are there only in EN in RSZELTTXT table.
It would help to me if any one can answer my question.

U can fetch the texts for the items using
Read_text.
Example:

Hi Binu,
First of all, you could maintain pricing conditions in the following places:
1. In General Condition Maintenance (GCM)
2. At the product maintenance level
3. At the 'Price agreement' tab of Contracts
4. As manual conditions during order processing at item level
Now, if you want to maintain conditions using GCM, you first have to maintain a condition maintenance group in the customizing where in you can assign condition table and condition type for different counter values. I am assuming that you have done this activity successfully.
When you run the transaction '/SAPCND/GCM', for application 'CRM', your condition maintenance group name and context 'GCM', you will be initially taken to a screen where in you'll have an item area which would be blank and then condition fields would be displayed in a tree on the left.
Here, select the field 'Condition type' and click on icon 'Select records'. You would get a dialog prompting you to enter condition type. Here you can specifiy the condition type for which you want to maintain/view condition records.
If no condition records are available, item area would be left blank. Here, you can choose a condition type using the standard F4 help. Depending on condition types that are assigned to condition maintenance group, different condition types would be displayed in the F4-help using which you can maintain condition records.

Validation: How to maintain the entry in GB02C

My requirement is that - We want to restrict Negative posting for some GL i.e. For some GL balance should not be Zero.
When I have made the search on SDN, I found it can be done with the help of Validation: OB28 & GGB0.
Currently we are not using any validation. When we use T-Code GGB0 --> Financial Accounting --> Line Item --> New Validation
System shows a pop-up window to select Boolean Class & Message ID.
I also found that this information is maintained in Table GB02C.
When I use Se16 to see the detail of the table GB02C, I found there is only one entry Bool. Class: FP1 & Message ID 7F.
But I don't know How to maintain the entry in table GB02C & What is the T-Code for it. which message ID I have to create.

When I use: GGB0 --> Financial Accounting --> Line Item --> New Validation
System shows a pop-up window to select Boolean Class & Message Class, I select the Message Class 9 and for Message Class Press F4 and select any message class. System gives an error message: Message ID must start with 'Z' Message no. GB116.
Basically, My question is that: Which T-Code we have to use to maintain Boolean Class & Message Class.

It is actually the Partner Number for the Partner Profile created in we20 of the sAP ECC system. (you may have to store it as KU or LI) in SAP system.
