Hi,
You can design your report and use Function module VIEW_MAINTENANCE_CALL for that.
You need to use Action type as 'S' for displaying and 'U' for maintaining the table.
Ex:

  • Lock a ztable using function module or memory id

    hello experts,
    i am facing a problem in ALV grid output (editable) - when user editing and saving data into the ztable - other user should not able to save the data and error msg to be displayed.
    i am using the function modules for locking the whole table - enqueue_eztable and dequeue_eztable. i can see the table as locked in sm12, but i can also do the updating and save data.
    is there anyother function module to work with?
    another way i am doing is -

      IMPORT text4 TO text5 FROM MEMORY ID 'Y222'.

    We have a unique situation where we like change the sold-to customer of the sales order
    once order has been created. These orders have been created using either by function module
    BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY or using BDC (VA01, Copy with reference).
    These two processes work abosolutely fine except someone might have change the sold-to
    customer of the ship-to customer of the original sales order. If this the case then the new
    sales order will be created with the old sold-to and with not the new sold-to.
    We tried using BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_CHANGE and commit afterwards. We checked
    the returned parameteres of the BAPIs and they are all successful but sold-to remains the
    same old one.
    Any help would be much more appreciated.

    SAVE_TEXT
    SAVE_TEXT writes a text module back to the text file or the text memory, depending on the storage mode of the corresponding text object.
    You can use this module either to change existing texts or to create new texts. If you know for sure that the text is new, use the parameter INSERT to indicate this. The system then does not have to read the text first, which improves the performance of the function module.
    If the lines table passed with the function module is empty, the system deletes the text from the text file.

    Extracting data from R/3 extract structure thru function modules
    You can proceed with create function module using SE37, thereu2019s sample in system RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE,
    You need to know the logic how to populate the structure,
    after that RSO2, create datasource specify extract structure and
    function module,
    activate and replicate to bw.
