How to make 3rd party products (ie. firefox) run on startup?

I'm a newbie to MAC. I have a few questions around 3rd party softwares that I use on my windows machine
# firefox - i downloaded and installed and it runs fine but when i log out and log back in or restart its no longer there ... i again have to run the DMG installer. Is there anyway to make it run on startup? Also, if i click on the DMG file again will that overwrite all my preferences of the product?
# VLC media - also installed fine and runs fine but cannot get it to run on startup.
# The last question is the mounted disk images for VLC and firefox ... when i run them it shows up on the desktop. Anyway to hide them?

You need to drag the application out of the dmg file and put the application into your applications folder which is on your hard drive. The dmg file is just a compressed way for the application to be downloaded in. To keep and use any application you need to drag the app to your hard drive so that it remains there for your use. Once you have done this you can delete the dmg file.

Are you seeing the EE (or T-Mobile) network name and network bars in the top right hand corner of the screen? Turn off WiFi (Settings>WiFi - turn this off). Is there anything next to the network name in the top right hand corner (3G, E or o)? E is Edge and o = GPRS.
If there's nothing next to the network name, turn off the iPhone and then turn it back on. To do this, press and hold down the button on the top until you see the 'Slide to Power Off' message. Slide and then wait for the iPhone to shut down. To turn it back on again, press and hold the top button again unti lkthe Apple logo shows on the screen.
EE and signal bars top left = Yes
Turned off Wifi and next to the EE is 'o' which you say is GPRS? What does that mean please??

If you have 3rd party apps on a phone with 1.1.4, you must have a jailbroken phone. Discussion of those is heavily frowned on here. I recommend finding a forum that supports such phones.

Hi All,
From EDI perspective, XI requires external EDI adapters.
So what are the pros & cons of opting for XI or another 3rd party product.
Appreciate if someone could throw some light on it.

For some specific requirements, EDI files can be handled by using conversion agent or developing an adapter module. So in that case, external adapters would not be required.
XI is suitable both for the SAP and non SAP systems integration. Ur integration requirements like the quantity of msg, msg size, type of communication etc are the factors on which the evaluations about pros and cons could be made.
Pros would always be the architecture of XI and future support by SAP. Cons could come into picture if both the communicating parties does not involve any SAP system

In BI publisher 11g, users wanted that after entering the values for the parameter, they hit the ENTER key ( on the keyboard) and the report should run .
In Mozilla firefox, when I hit ENTER key on the keyboard report runs fine... but in Internet explorer, it does not ( infact in internet explorer TAB key works)

Perform the following steps and tell us if it resolve this issue:
1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. There are four security zones listed:
* Internet
* Local intranet
* Trusted sites
* Restricted sites
Click the zone being used by P6, which is noted at the bottom right hand corner of the browser window when the P6 URL is being accessed.
4. Under Security level for this zone, click Custom Level.
5. Under Downloads, under Automatic prompting for file downloads, click Enable, and then click OK two times.
6. The browser will need to be restarted for the change to take effect.

Your VI has some very fundamental flaws.
The start/stop button is outside the FOR loop, thus it will NOT get read during execution of the FOR loop, but only before the FOR loop starts. Think dataflow!
Thus the terminal of the start/stop button belongs inside the FOR loop.
Your FOR loop iterates 20x, which probably takes about a nanosecond. You will NOT be fast enough to reliably press the start/stop button during a specific iteration of the FOR loop.
Your code does not "stop and run" a FOR loop (sic). The loop always spins, but executes an empty case when "Stopped". I guess that's what you actually want?
Once you solve (2), the x indicator will contain a random value whenever you "stop".
As soon as the 20 iterations complete, the outer while loop spin an things start over, another nanosecond later.
Place e.g. a 500ms wait inside the FOR loop to solve this.
Don't place terminals of indicators on top of formula nodes.
Your formula does not produce any output, so really has no purpose.
Use a real "stop" button to terminate the while loop (mechanical action: latch when released). Right now you are using a plain switch, which does not reset to false before the next run. This means that you need to manually reset it before running the program again.
It is oftern useful to operate the VI in execution highlighting mode. You will immediately see that your button does not get read during execution of the FOR loop. Try it!

How can i authorise 3rd party products

I want to include a couple of 3rd party features on my BC site. Each requires a user to login, if I already have my visitor logged into a secure zone, how can I pass that authorisation on to the 3rd party modules so my visitors don't have to login separately to BC and the 3rd party modules.

There are a wide range of 3rd party modules, well beyond what BC provides, most i can use unless login is required by the user (i wantvto avoid the user having to sign separately into multiple services). but the two specific ones I want to use now are

Standard Java does not support jars within other jars.
Either re-architect your stuff so jars in jars is eliminated, or write a custom classloader that can load from them, or look into 3rd-party solutions, which you can find by searching the net and these forums.

How to make the new products on SLD to show on the PI?

We have a PI7.0 connected to a remote centralized SLD.
Whenever there is a new product on the SLD , we want to have it show up at the PI7.0.
We do not know how to make it happen.
What we know is (perhaps) once a new product is installed on the PI, SE70 will inform SLD about this.

As you are mentioning that SLD has been connected to PI7.0 No special mechanism is requred to access products .Every thing that is created in SLD will be in synchronised automaticaly and you will be able to see them in IR(ex.Import ing sofware compnent from SLd).

How to consume 3rd Party WSDL which contains the Include statement

I have a 3rd Party WSDL I am trying to consume using the BizTalk WCF Consume Wizard.
When I try and consume the WSDL it gives me blank XSDs and Binding files. It does produce the Port Types in an Orchestration.
This
article mentions how to use the svcutil tool to get around the use of Import statements but does not give the full command. I have tried svcutil /t:metadata <Path of WSDL> but get an error stating can't load file or assembly.
Any ideas anyone?

Does anyone know how to uninstall a 3rd party application (RMSViewer) from MacBook Pro? The app doesn't work and I want to remove it from memory. I can't find an "uninstall" utility on my computer and the 3rd party software doesn't include an uninstall link.

Tap and old the app until it starts to wiggle. Tap the "x" that appears on the corner of the icon.
If that doesn't work, check Settings>General>Restrictions to see if removing apps is restricted.
