It sounds like your screen recording is doing what it was designed to do, capture what is happening on your screen, with optional voice over with the microphone.
Screen recording is for recording what you see on the screen, it is not a "video capture" option, like for capturing a movie with sound that is playing on your screen.

okay so i recorded a song but each part comes out as like take 1, i have 10 takes. how can i put them all together as one take, to make one song all in one take not small pieces of a song. like i hit record and sang the entire song but when i hit play it was in pieces not just one song like it was in ten takes. is there any way i can blend it all into one take, to make one clear song?
You're not very clear in stating your problem. Maybe it's terminology: "takes" in recording lingo (and in GB lingo) are different version of exactly the same part in a song, so you only want one of them in the end. Please tell us exactly what you did and what it is that you don't like.

LOVS - How to make one of the values the default value ?

This is a very basic question so, anyonw who has some experience witrh loves can surely help me.
I have a lov which i populate like this:
select 0 as never,00 as nunca from dual
UNION
select rownum,rownum from man_cod_pos where rownum <= 24

select 36 as never,36 as nunca from dual
UNION
select 48 as never,48 as nunca from dual
UNION
select 60 as never,60 as nunca from dual

This will be the number of months, so 1-24 and after every year hence 36 and so on.
So far so good.
I however have one of this values kept in a database record and after populating the lov i want the value that is selected to be the one which is in the database record.
How do i achieve that?
So far i have been doing it with ajax but i am kinda tired of having to make an ajax call everytime i need to update a LOV and i am sure APEX can handle this.

I'm gonna be honest here I am unfamiliar with LOVS within apex and pl sql altogether.
In this case the list of possible values will be the one i mentioned earlier so it is static, the only thing that will change will be the default seleced value wich has to reflec the value of the database record.
So are static more beneficial in this case? if so why?
Varad i have atempted to place this in the default value:
select 10 as never,10 as nunca from dual
This is only for testing purposes but it won t place the 10 as the selected value....
I have tried pl sql function body pl sql expression and it doesn t accept any, it only works when i choose a static value.
what am i doing wrong?

Today, my normal Make a video call button seems to have changed to Send Recording.....and I can see myself....how do I stop this and go back to the previous option?

My external audio recording device only records to the right channel. How do I duplicate the sound in the right channel and run it to the left one in Final Cut to get full stereo sound?
I've already copied and pasted the right channel (A2) onto the left channel (A1) but that just doubled the volume on the right channel.
For instance, when I listen to my audio with headphones it only comes thru the right one. How do I make it so that it comes thru both headphones?Stereo is something else. It is a sound field where the individual elements are located through varying the amount of electrical energy for each element delivered to each channel.
What you have is a mono source that should be panned to center. This will equally divide the signal so it will be delivered out both the L & R channels.
Load the original clip to the VIEWER and set the PAN to 0 (zero). Delete any duplicates. They are unnecessary.

I recently broke my 2008 macbook. i was able to use an external hardrive to back up my data onto My Passport. I was going to buy a new computer but a friend told me sher had an older version of the iMac. (not sure how old but it doesnt have a camera if that helps) i was able to hook it up and turn it on but i ran into a few problems. 1) the "authentic" user or whatever it says is someone who previously used the computer. i added me as a user but im not sure how to make me the main user. 2) after hooking up My Passport, i was able to drag my files and copy them to the desktop.(i think i did it correctly) now, i dont know how to make my hard drive and applications and iformation the "main " info. The current apps on the iMac are super old versions of iTunes and iPhoto and such. 3) while trying to open the apps from my macbook on the iMac, it said it didnt have the right software to open these apps.
I am so computer illiterate so someone please help!!! Also, i do not have internet in my new apartment yet so if there is a way to make this happen without using the internet that would be preferred. sorry for the horrible spelling and poorly written paragraph.

at the prompt:
sudo chmod -R +a "<user> allow list,addfile,search,delete,add_subdirectory,delete_child,readattr,writeattr,readextattr, writeextattr,readsecurity,file_inherit,directoryinherit" /User/<user_name> #yep, all that goes on one line!#
#Replace <user> with the user name that you want to have file/folder privileges#

example:

#sue now gets full access to joe's files and folders#

You can add as many users as you want! Just lather, rinse repeat. That is how I share my itunes
directory with the ones I want to share it with.
That's the simplest way. ACL permissions overrule posix permissions. -

I am trying to record a vocal mic and a keyboard (using a software instrument) at the same time using Garageband 10.0.1. It seems that I can't record the mic input and the software instrument at the same time. I can record the mic input by itself, and I can record the software instrument by itself (if I don't have a mic input track created), but I can't record them together.
It seems like this should be an obvious thing to be able to do, but I can't figure out how to make it work.
Can someone help?
