How to Make a Seeded Tab Visible (AllData Tab in iExpenses) in OAF Page

Hi All,
we have the below mentioned Tab's in OIE_AUD_AUDIT_PAGE, all these tabs are seeded one
1. Expenses Tab
2. Exceptions Tab
3. Allocations Tab
4. Tax Tab
5. AllData Tab
6. EmployeeNotes Tab
7. AuditorNotes Tab
these are all the seeded tabs, here except AllData tab all other tabs are visible in Auditor page now all i need is to unhide the existing seeded AllData tab.
Even i tried enable this tab through personalization but the rendered value of this tab is already set to " TRUE " but still it is invisible.
Please help me to make this tab visible.

How to make a new section visible in the server published version

I use UPK 12 Client.
When I click "Link a new section" in an existing Module, I can see it in the outline in the left pane in my UPK 12 Developer. When I then check-in all items, click Publish > select c: drive (a test folder) > Publish entire outline, the outcome includes the new section created.
When I do the exact same procedure, but choose to click Publish > server (which is set up for my UPK) > Publish entire outline, the outcome does NOT include the new section created, but everything else yes.
How to make the new section visible in the server published version?

Hi Sille,
Are you publishing over knowledge center? or is it publishing to a network drive? Once you check in the section save the module once and try again. See if it makes any difference.

Help!!! How to make quicktime plugin do not display on top of the web page?

Any one knows how to make quicktime plugin do not display on top of the web page??? I've tried to change the zIndex property using javascript, but it doesn't work.
Because we have some widgets which are required to be moved to anywhere on the page, we use iframe to implement that, so it can display on top of quicktime plugin, but the plugin flickers sometimes when we do some operation on the widget which is on top of it.
Anyone can helps me? Thanks in advance!!!

How to make a UI Element visible or invisible

Hi,
I have a dropdown and three input fields in my screen.
Depending on the value in the drop down only one or two or three input fields can be made visibile or invisible.
Kindly help me how to make a field invisible?

Hi Shanthi,
1. You will have to create custom Object type or subobject type depending on your requirement. Custom Object type can be created in SPRO-> Cross component -> UI Framework -> Framework definition -> define object type.
2. Go to configuration tab and create 3 different configurations of your view using different object type/subobject type. First Config will display all the three fields, second would display 2 of 3 and third config to display only one input field.
3. Go to Get_P_xxx method of your dropdown field and trigger server round trip (An event) to ensure that entire view is loaded every time you select value in dropdown.
4. Redefine DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION method from your _IMPL class and here read values in your dropdown field. On the basis of value selected, you can trigger different configurations by using code:
me->set_config_keys( iv_object_type          = <lv_object_type>
                       iv_object_sub_type      = <lv_subtype>
                       iv_propagate_2_children = abap_true ).

In SPRO there is no Field selection for QA. If you want to maintain QA based MPN( get the material number relevant to MPN). Press F4 and select the search criteria search by MPN, you will get the material relevant to that MPN.

How to make keyfigure columns in-/visible dynamically in a web template

Hello,
I want to implement a button into my web template, making a first key figure column invisible, a second key figure column visible. Clicking the button again shall make the first column visible, the second invisible.
How can I achieve this?
1) Using the filter_pane_item it is possible to choose the key figure structure and the a key figure for the analysis_item. Can this action be encoded behind a button?
If this would be clear, create a first button to choose the first key figure, then a second button to choose the second key figure. Finally enhance both buttons making one another visible and we are done.
2) An idea was to define two query views, one with the first key figure visible, one with the second key figure visible. Then again two buttons assigning the analysis item these two data providers. Finally again the trick, making one another invisible.
But this has the drawback, that after navigation, drill down, etc. in one view, then switching to the other cleary looses the navigation status.

How to make direct selection handles visible against pasteboard?

When I go to transform/resize images inside frames using the direct selection tool, I can't see the handles of the actual image because they are white against a white pasteboard. I am using InDesign CS5 (ver 7.0.4) on a Mac. I have been using InDesign for a few years and never noticed this was a problem; all of a sudden, the handles seem invisble. I don't remember what the color scheme was before. (Maybe I am losing my mind). Did the colors change with an update? There is an option in preferences to select the color of the pasteboard, but this doesn't seem to have any effect. In the meantime, I can't find the handles to resize/transform images. I can input a percentage for scaling, but this is only useful sometimes. How do I make direct selection handles visible against the pasteboard?

Not specifically a path. When I select an image in a layout with the selection tool, yes the frame border is the color of the layer. When I select the same image with the direct selection tool to see the full extent of the uncropped image, the border of the image is white with white handles. Since my pasteboard is white, I can't see the image border when it extends off my color layout and onto the pasteboard.

How to Make the label of the active tab-page BOLD?

I am working on forms 10g(version 10.1.2.0.2 ) with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 on windows 2000 platform.
My requirement is to make the label of the active tab-page either in italics or with a different color or make it BOLD than the other pages of the canvas.
Any suggestions ?

there are no properties for those requirements on tab-pages. You can't do it.
Setting italic for all Tabpage-Labels is possible, when you change it in the canvas-properties. But you can't change only one tabpage.
One Solution is, what Jeneesh said: Active-Style. But only "Bold" and for the active tab.

How to make the hard disk visible in a new admin account?

I created a new admin account, in order (hopefully) to solve some problems that I've been having with SPSS21 for Mac. But when I log on as a new admin account, my hard disk no longer appears on the desktop. It (and all the folders and files in it) are still accessible by clicking on the hard disk in the path bar in a folder, but it's annoying not to have the icon on the hard disk. I don't know why the icon for the hard disk does not appear on the desktop. Does anyone know why, and how to make it appear? Thanks.

I want to make profitability segment pushbutton visible in FB50 transaction. I tried to change a transaction variant which is assigned for this transaction code. It was a user created Z transaction variant and i unchecked the invisible checkbox in SHD0 transaction and saved it.But still in FB50 i am unable to see it. Can anyone tell me why it is still invisible though i unchecked the invisible checkbox . Do i need to reassign the transaction variant again to FB50. I didnt do it because it is already assigned and i had just modified.

How to make a seeded page in EBS bookmarkable

Hi Folks,
I have a problem where I am trying to give access to an application in EBS through a direct URL but the URL doesn't work unless the profile option FND: Function Validation Level is set to None.
I have done some research on this and found out that unless the OAF page is self-secured, it can't be accessed directly through a URL and hence it can't be bookmarked.
This is proving to be a major show stopper for us since we are trying to build custom applications which let you navigate to seeded applications in Oracle EBS and without these direct URLs the whole process fails !
Has anyone out here tried to make a seeded page in Oracle EBS bookmarkable by extensions/customizations?
I am not an expert on OAF so I am posting this question out here for all the experts and I would like to hear their views on the same before I start digging into the code. I have gone through some threads which try to explain the process of building a custom page which can be bookmarked.
e.g. Trying to open a link in notification, but getting error
Would the same process apply to a seeded page in EBS?
