i'm trying to do a little website for my student (excuse my english) and the simple form simply don't work with godaddy server. I put the-email adress and i receive nothing, like nothing happen. I try to place the gdform instead but muse said i can't do that.
Do yu have a simple explication or a way around that thank you very much

We are using Dreamweaver right now, and we have pricelist and orderstatus on our website, but I would like to work more freely and am thinking about using Adobe Muse.

Is it possible for a website built in Adobe Muse to interface with a database? I need to turn a rather robust excel spreadsheet into an easy-to-use website that links to a database that can be updated easily and regularly. Thanks.

Muse is a designing software. You can design websites in Muse and host it on any server of your choice. There is no native feature in Muse to convert a spreadsheet into a website. If you are good with coding, you can develop it outside Muse and call it in Muse site using iframes, if at all it is helpful to you.

How to make Hibernate's Open Session In View Pattern work with Portal?

I have a need to implement Hibernate's "Open Session In View" pattern in Portal's Page Flow and its JSP (View).
Traditionaly, this can be done via a servlet filter, have the filter open the session and close the session, all the Page Flow action and JSP are inside the window between session open and close. For non-portal env, a single HttpRequest maps to only one Page Flow, this approach works.
But for WebLogic Portal, a HttpRequest might trigger a Portal page to render multiple Portlets, each Portlet has its own Page Flow. Using this filter approach might force all Page Flow to share one open Hibernate Session, not we desired.
So in WebLogic Portal, how can I manage the Hibernate Session life cycle so that Page Flow action and JSP can share one opened Hibernate Session?

Nevermind. Did a little searching and someone else explained that you have to add these items like they are toolbar buttons. Only then is there anything to drag. Someone please tell the developers at FF that they are idiots and to please fix the status bar before everyone jumps ship on them. This is ridiculous.

How do I create simple form with issue result request

How do I create the form, on which took seats GRID with result of the request from table Oracle. I do not use iAS.

Thank you for this George, however a couple of sticking points. When I copied and pasted the code over to my file it didn't work, even when I pointed the code to my combo and checked all settings and properties of the other objects. The unusual thing was that I had to copy all the boxes over from your file with the script and it worked, it even hid and revealled my original objects which I wanted. I then called the code from my original combo and deleted the one I had copied from your file and all was OK
The second thing is that when I try and edit the combo box, I can only move between one or two of the options set in the box, although I can see all the other options, I cannot select them the cusor simply jumps to the top options. I had to delete all the options and retype them all in assigning the 0,a,b,c, etc. Although this works, when I go to edit, it still only allows me to select up to the first four in the edit, but the form appears to be working fine. Is there a special order which i need to folow, can I have labels in the combo with spaces e.g. "family appointment"?
And finally, I added some background colours to the section_a_backgrounds (b,c,d) also, but these do not work, even though the text copies across into the section_background. I'm confused with all these issues, should it not have worked as it was???
I am using acrobat X pro, does this make a difference?

In Muse, if I Insert HTML code with:

…the form is displayed in my Muse page. However, it doesn't look normal, meaning:
- The text fields have no border and appear to be invisible until you start typing in them.
- The Submit button size is minimal, wrapping tightly around the text, and there is no border or bevel.
* I have experimented with specifying an HTML border and width in the above code, with no change in results.
Basically, this HTML code looks normal in a regular .html page. However, in a Muse page (with Insert HTML), the visual appearance of the form elements looks abnormal… stripped-down.
Can anyone suggest a way to add HTML form content and make it look correct? I don't want to use the Muse Form Widgets, because they all "require" the email field, and I don't want that capability. Thanks for any suggestions.

I answered my own problem.
It seems that the solution is having knowledge of CSS, which I don't. That's what Muse is supposed to provide, and I'm not a CSS expert.
At http://www.ronpershing.com/blog/how-to-make-a-custom-contact-form-in-adobe-muse/ , Ron Pershing gives some very simple code on making it all work with Muse. I'm not affiliated with him or his website, but since he was kind enough to publish a solution, his work should get some attention.

If you're both using Muse then it's no different than if you were both using PS, AI, Word, etc. You need to use a mechanism to enable you to both have access to the latest version of the .muse file (i.e. Creative Cloud Files folder, Dropbox, file server location, etc.).
Changes made in the browser will sync back to the .muse file. Changes made in Muse are saved in the .muse file and if you're going to work on the site in Muse on two different machines then you need to have the up-to-date .muse file on the other machine.

Code looks reasonable except
a) the code in the actionPerformed is commment out
b) the owner of the dialog should be the frame
If you need further help then you need to create a "Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program (SSCCE)",
